I was deciding between the newer Paradise Palette and the Lila Palette, and I’m so happy I went with the Lila. It’s so, so beautiful and pigmented. The texture is unlike any other shadow I’ve tried - it’s velvety soft but kind of creamy and blends like a dream. You can create a different eye look every day using different colour combos because they all compliment each other. The shades are universal - they work well on every skin type and eye colour. If you’re looking at investing into a Natasha Denona palette, I highly recommend starting with Lila... you won’t be disappointed! -

Last night I went out and bought TEN pints of Halo Top (because why not?) and Taste tested them all (again, why not?).
Candy Bar was definitely my top 3, if not top 1. It’s stll too early to tell but it was so yummy! It’s packed with small peanuts and reminds me of a 3 muskateers with peanuts and some chocolate sauce.
My only issue with Halo Top is that it definitely doesn’t taste like real ice cream which is kind of a “duh” thing to say considering it’s 1/4 the calories of a normal pint, but you can really taste the stevia in some of the flavours, especially if you’re eating the whole pint (which you are, don’t lie). I found that Breyer’s did a much better job at mimicking real ice cream with their low cal ice cream. Their cookies and cream is to die for and Halo Top’s version doesn’t even sit in the same league.
All in all, I’m really happy with Halo Top and Candy Bar in particular. I definitely see myself buying this flavour again in the future.

All of my makeup geeks out there know that finding a primer without silicones is hard work, and finding a primer without silicones that WORKS is even harder. Nude by Nature offers a fairly priced ($32 for generous tube), effective, silicone and other potentially congesting ingredient free primer that feels smooth on application.
I’m a recent graduated MUA and have been playing around with this primer on different skin types and I haven’t run into any issues yet. You do need to give it time before applying over your moisturizer / sunscreen and I find the best way to apply your foundation afterwards is with a beauty blender.
I look forward to using this product more so that I can decide for sure whether I will be adding this as a staple in my pro makeup case. I definitely suggest giving it a try!

I saw that my local Shopper’s was carrying the Burt’s Bees makeup, so I had to take a look after seeing some reviews online. The foundation was only slightly above $20 and the lightest shade matched perfectly, so I bought it. I’m pretty picky with my foundation, as are most women, so I was excited yet unsure but figured “it’s only $20”. Here’s my take ...
- 98.9% natural ingredients which makes me feel good about putting it on my face
- says it’s medium to full coverage, I would agree, depending on your application
- really thick, creamy texture
- dries down quickly
Unfortunately for me, this foundation didn’t quite work out. I tried many different ways but it kept collecting in my pores and would separate. I personally don’t think it’s good for dry skin, so I’m going to try again in the summer. I may even switch and use this as a concealer because it has that tackiness to it like a concealer does. Overall, I think this a great product in concept, at a great price point. I highly suggest trying it out if you are a drug store makeup girl.

This would be good for someone who has a dairy allergy, but for someone who knows what real ice cream tastes like, this hits the mark. The base is kind of watery and the almonds / chocolate is sparse and doesn’t seem to go well. I mean, I still ate half the pint, but I wouldn’t buy this flavour again. I’ve tried 1 other “non dairy” flavour which was the peanut butter one, and I quite enjoyed that one. I think the bases were different, maybe soy and coconut milk, with the coconut milk not living up to my standard. -

I am a serious Ben and Jerry’s lover. So much so, that I even called the company directly to offer a suggestion on a flavour, that was based on The Tonight Dough. There’s something about the cookie swirls (think: finer DQ cake middle part) that makes this ice cream so irresistible. I hope they make a flavour with tons of crack — I mean cookie swirls. You won’t be disappointed with this flavour! -

I picked up the new Breyer’s Delights Cookies and Cream at my local Independence and brought it over to my friends house for a girl night. We both dug in and couldn’t believe the entire PINT was only 360 calories!! This does NOT taste like a “light” ice cream or have any stevia aftertaste. We ate the whole thing (I would have gladly eaten it all myself) and kept wondering how they made something so delicious without the guilt; truly a girl’s best friend. There were plenty of cookie chunks that resembled Oreos ... this was probably my favourite part. I am huge B&J;fan and will eat the entire pint in one sitting so it always a risk bringing ice cream home. I know what I’ll be buying from now on, though! My only suggestion is that I would like to see more flavours come Out, #gotitfree -
These are great to have on hand for quick clean ups. I like to put one in each bathroom and kitchen, so that way a mess can be cleaned straight away. I also like these for disinfecting lightswitches and door knobs to keep my family healthy.

Seriously though? Who doesn’t like Nutella? It’s so decadent and tasty. When I was pregnant, I used to love making toast and put half peanut butter and half Nutella, then swirl them together ... tasted just like a Reese cup! Would I feed it to my daughter? Probably not. Or at least not often. It’s so full of sugar which is something that I’m cautious of. -

For a box of 30 face wipes, it’s just under $100 which is pretty steep in my books. What I do to keep them going longer, is cutting them in half and sticking the unused portion back in the packet for the next days use. If you do this, and maybe even do every other day, the value becomes much better.
I find these pads better than the Dr Dennis Gross ones because they aren’t as astringent and drying. They make a difference in your complexion in days and really do brighten any dark spots.
On another note, I had such an amazing experience with their customer service when one of my products had an issue, which makes me want to buy from them again. Good customer service is so important and DERMAdoctor definitely has it! This is one of my staple products now.
