I love this primer because not only does it fill in any pores and fine lines, but the purple brightens your tone as well. Really great if you have sallow looking skin. I also find my makeup stays on longer and because this doesn’t have silicone it doesn’t cause a breakout or feel slippery mid day.

Bonus! -

I’ve always found the crest strips to be so yucky and messy and these are no different. From the feeling of them on my teeth, to the taste, to how they move around...they just have always let me down when I go to try them again. They also leave me with sensitivity. I much prefer using the crest whitening mouthwash which uses the same “technology” as the white strips, but is much more tolerable. -

I like to keep a few of these laying around for when my nose gets stuffy and I can’t breathe. I find it really helps open the nasal passages up and assists me in getting a better night sleep. They can be a bit odd feeling and bit annoying if you don’t put them on properly. If you mess it up, good luck getting it to stick down again. Make sure you wipe the outside of
Your nose so the adhesive sticks better...if you just put cream on it won’t stick very well.

It took me quite a while and several applications on not just myself, but my husband and daughter as well. The following review is based on all of our opinions on the product. I would like to thank ChickAdvisor and Aveeno for allowing me to review this product, free of charge.
To give a background on my family’s need for a product such as Aveeno’s Ezcema Itch Relief Cream ...
Me: Currently taking Accutane low dose for hormonal acne. Skin is very dry. I also have both ezcema and psoriasis.
Daughter: 5yrs old, has very dry skin and keratosis pilaris. She also suffers from ezcema on her hands and feet.
Husband: Doesn’t take care of his skin and is always coming to me when his skin is literally falling off lol
Needless to say, we had lots of use for this product. These are the quick points of our trial;
-Very moisturizing and gentle, nobody reacted to it
- Was very thick and didn’t really absorb into the skin. You were left with it just sitting on your skin and seeing as we have pets, it was a recipe for hair stuck all over
- Stuck to clothes ... felt greasy
- It WAS effective at relieving the itch associated with ezcema and dry skin
- Sadly, nobody saw a difference in their eczema
Overall, I don’t think we would purchase this cream again. I just don’t think it worked for us. I have repurposed it as a hand and foot cream, and I find it absolutely perfect for that. I would probably purchase it if it came in a smaller, purse friendly squeeze tube to be used for this purpose. TIP: if you’re like me and wash your hands a billion times a day and get painfully dry hands, this cream is amazing for that!

I never understood why women like this exfoliater. It’s way too rough and abrasive and it ends up creating micro-trauma on your face. Do yourself a huge favour and invest in a finer, more smooth exfoliant (or even a chemical exfoliant). If you have the money to spare, I highly recommend Dr Brandt Microdermabrasion scrub or the pores no more scrub - both have very fine crystals to help remove the dead skin (instead of just scratching your face like this apricot scrub) and they use chemical exfoliants too. If you’re looking for a more natural product that is also fairly priced, I recommend going to LUSH and getting the Cup O Coffee or Angels on Bare Skin. Cup O Coffee has larger exfoliaters (coffee grIndia) but they are smooth. -

I recently purchased my first bottle of MAC’s Prime + Prep Fix + Setting Spray and I am in LOVE! It turns your full face of makeup back to looking like skin and makes it stay in place all day. It has a cool cucumber scent and feels refreshing on your face. It also has caffeine in it so it helps to perk up the skin, whether it’s mid day or night.
The price is a bit steep, but when I compare it to the smashbox primer spray and the elf spray, I can justify the cost since it outperforms them. If I were on a budget, I would probably go with the elf spray, only because I find the smashbox one leaves you feeling a little tacky / sticky afterwards. You don’t get that feeling with the MAC spray at all.
I highly recommend this to every girl who wears makeup!
