Received from Chic Advisor for review. Between washes this dry shampoo is great to keep the oils at bay! I love that the scent isn't totally overwhelming, and I've even been complimented on how nice my hair smells after using this. I spray it at my roots on days when I skip a wash, and use it as a refresher even after I've washed my hair, if I'm going out after work just to give my hair a little extra oomph. -

Received at the chic advisor showcase. First off this stuff smells absolutely amazing! I applied a tiny bit to the ends of my hair and it doesn't weigh me down but it's great for damaged hair.

Doesn't have much smell and removes every last bit of makeup! I liked that it easily removed lipstick, but I'd still recommend using a regular cleanser afterwards if you have problematic skin.

I’m actually not a big fan of toners, because I find that they can be not only an extra unnecessary step, but also that they are over drying for my skin. Vichy Normaderm Pore Tightening Lotion is formulated specifically for oily and acne-prone skin with glycolic and salicylic acid, but it didn’t leave my skin feeling stripped. Quite the opposite actually, my skin felt refreshed and renewed but I only took to using this in the evening before bed. In the morning just the cleansing gel, followed by the anti-acne treatment was just enough to keep my skin happy. -

This soap-free gel foams up really nicely and doesn’t dry out my skin – a major concern with acne-targeted products. It works to clear up breakouts you already have, while preventing new ones from flaring up. I used this morning and night for about 3 weeks, and found that it mostly prevented breakouts from popping up. I was pretty stressed out the last couple weeks, so I didn’t see a major change in my skin, but skincare is pretty tricky to see results until after 4 weeks. -

My favourite part of this whole line is hands down the Normaderm Corrective Anti Acne Treatment. It’s like a lotion and an acne treatment all in one. With a combo of 1.5% salicylic acid, LHA, Phe Resorcinol and new Air Lincium, it works to treat and prevent all signs of acne. I know, science. All you really need to know about this is that it treats blemishes, and then also provides the hydration your skin really needs to heal. A lot of people think that drying out their skin is the key to banishing acne, but in order to treat your skin, it needs a good dose of hydration. This lotion mattifies skin so you don’t look a big old greasy mess. -

Feet aren’t exactly at the top of my priority list, but with sandal season just around the corner I’m applying Flexitol Heel Magic like it’s going out of style. First of all, the format of this product is AMAZING. It comes in a tube, almost like a gluestick, so you don’t actually have to rub the lotion onto your feet, because really feet are blargh. It’s a thicker balm, that is medically proven to treat dry and cracked feet. Science is on your side with this stuff, gnary feet beware this stuff works overtime to transform your feet. -
