I've always loved McCain fries! They remind me of growing up and eating them with chicken nuggets. These extra crispy spicy fries are a delicious twist on an old favourite. They're not super spicy that your mouth is burning but they definitely have a little kick to them. I love that they actually become super crispy when you pull them out of the oven. -

Suitable for all skin types including sensitive, a little goes a long way with this cleanser. Use a quarter sized amount and gently massage onto dry skin. The texture is very malleable, a bit like candle wax so it might throw you off at first. Rinse with warm water using either a muslin cloth or a wet face cloth. My sensitive, oily, acne prone skin was left feeling super soft, and I’m happy to report that it didn’t break me out. This cleanser works overtime to dissolve pore clogging make up and even helped to calm my skin. I was worried that like a lot of eye make up removers, it would sting when applied near my eyes. Luckily it lived up to its mild reputation, and there was no irritation thanks to an ingredient list that includes soothing camomile extract. The mild floral scent might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it doesn’t linger. I did find that it was a bit on the greasy side, so you can always follow up with a mild foaming cleanser to make sure nothing is left behind. Or apply it dry before hopping into the shower and use with a Clarisonic Cleansing Brush. -

It is easy to get carried away, but don’t apply too many coats because Step 2 dries fairly quickly. My lashes are quite long and I didn’t require any additional curling, but if you have shorter, thinner lashes curl your lashes prior to application. Heat your eyelash curler for a long lasting, noticeable curl. Blast your curler for 30 seconds with your hairdryer, and test it on your wrist to make sure it’s not too hot before curling. -

If your lashes don’t naturally hold a curl, you should definitely use an eyelash curler prior to application.
The fluffy brush is a bit larger than I normally like, but I found that it applied the product evenly throughout my lashes without creating a mess. The wet formula has a nice consistency, and made my already long lashes appear longer and more voluminous. The triple-groove illusionist wand grips my lashes to separate them without clumping. The bristles are spaced out with large gaps between them, and are loose so they move easily to apply the formula.

While I found that the formula was similar to Lash Potion, it was the brush that sparked my interest in this new mascara. Unlike the spaced out bristles of Lash Potion, Bold Lacquer has more tight knit bristles with the same fluffy-type brush. However Bold Lacquer has a smaller brush, which you can see compared in the picture below.It adds a lot of volume at the root and gives your lashes a fluttery feel. One of the best things about this mascara is that it lasts and doesn’t smudge or transfer the mascara past the lash line. It distributes evenly to capture amazing volume and length. I liked how it coated every lash after just a few coats, and the light texture isn’t too wet. My lashes look natural and not heavy thanks to the lightweight formula. Perfect for everyday wear, this mascara doesn’t add crazy over the top drama. If you’re looking for mascara for a night out, skip this more natural mascara. -

The formula is super lightweight and leaves my skin feeling smooth and flawless! It helps minimized the appearance of pores and fine lines creating a smooth canvas for you to apply your make up.Best of all, although it comes out of the tube in a sort of beigey colour, it applies translucent so it won’t really appear as if you’re wearing anything at all! If you’re worried about breaking out, I personally have not experienced any blemished skin while using the POREfessional. However, it does have a silicon texture so it’s always a good idea to try it in one area on your face to see if you have a reaction.
Perfect for hot days, it helps your make up stay put and aborbs in no time. It leaves skin feeling silky and soft, and the oil-free formula contains Vitamin E which is known to protect your skin from free radicals! They don’t called it the POREfessional for nothing, because the formula helps to blur imperfections, but it won’t hide everthing completely as you can see in the photo below. It simply helps even out your skin tone, and creates a nice base.

This richly pigmented plush lip colour is available in 20 shades, so there’s one for everyone. I was lucky enough to pick up two shades (Signature Scarlet & Vision in Violet). Now, I’m a bit biased as I don’t normally wear a lot of lip gloss, but I really liked how rich the colour was. Signature Scarlet is a gorgeous deep red shade that is super dramatic with my pale skin. While Vision in Violet is an amazing passionate purple which is totally out of my comfort zone. The staying power of these glosses isn’t the greatest, so I wouldn’t recommend putting this on before lunchtime. They last around 2-3 hours or until you decide to eat or drink anything.
The consistency is thicker than most glosses, but that’s why you get such a great colour pay off. I did however, find the application process to be a bit sloppy, and I needed a Q-tip to clean up the edges a bit. Maybelline recommends applying the lip colour with the brush starting in the center of your upper lip, and working towards the outer edges. Then follow up by contouring your mouth and glide the brush across the entire bottom lip.
