You need a good coat of nailpolish under the shatter polish, and remember, as this is a black shatter, a bright colour underneath will look the best. You need to apply a thin layer of shatter polish to get a really good shattered effect.
All in all I think it's very cool. It gives a very nice shattered effect and sort of gives the base colour a new look. I would recommend it. However the price is quite steep, I'm hoping to see other not so expensive brands come out with their own version of this.

This book is "worth every penny". It's for anyone who has ever been in a relationship, anyone who's looking to get into a new relationship, or even for those sisters IN a relationship. It tells you how to be the nice interesting bitch that can keep life fresh and new, and can keep him and you interested in the relationship. It shows the difference between compromising and being a doormat. It is such a fun read, laugh out loud moments, and just plain and simple excellent advise that every girl should be given. I bought this for myself (and a friend who was going through a hard time). This is such a classic.
It shows you how to go from being a doormat to a dream girl.

Hmm..where to start.. First of all Timmies is a Canadian staple (as far as I'm concerned anyways). Their coffee is often a hit or miss (nowadays mostly a miss), but be sure to sip it before leaving the store because if you get an unlucky miss, you can bring it back to the counter and they'll remake it for free. The staff are pretty friendly, the food choice is quite vast. Everything from croissants, danishes, sandwiches, soups, and many more can be found there. Everything tastes pretty good.
My only peeve with Tim Hortons is every time the gas price goes up, they jack up the price of their coffee. Gas price goes back down, yet their coffee price stays jacked up. I don't get it. I remember when a medium coffee was $1.17, now it's $1.40. I really don't get it.

I'm medium brown and tend to get very light in the winter time. Even during summer I spend most of my days either at home or in the office, so don't really get that much sun, so I like to get a little golden, especially legs and arms so I at least don't look like someone who has no sun-social life! Also, don't know about you ladies, but my skin looks more blemish free with a bit of colour! :) Like I said I'm already brown so I don't need something that builds the tan or anything like that. For me a golden bronze shade acts almost like a body foundation. It glosses over the small imperfections and gives an overall sunkissed bronzed look. For my purpose I really didn't want to spend too much money (I don't need a dramatic colour boost) and came across this. I tried it and loved it! It's moisturizing (which is the main thing, 'cuz even in summer I'm pretty dry), with a slight tint. It does exactly what I need it to do at a low price. I would recommend it to all my brown girls out there ;-) -

I actually bought the Neutrogena UltraSheer DryTouch SPF 110. Yes I know, when will I ever need SPF 110 living in Canada? When I visit the sun of course! jk :) I figured since they all cost the same, best to get bang for my bucks by getting the highest SPF I could find lol.
Onto the review: The price was fair, I paid about $10 at Wallmart which I don't think is too much for a good SPF. It goes on OK, it doesn't really go on smooth like a cream, but perhaps that's how it's supposed to be. If you plan on putting on makeup then wait a few minutes for the SPF to dry and go ahead with your makeup. It doesn't leave your face slick or oily at all, and it doesn't give the "white" ghost face when taking flash photos. Wears well under makeup, doesn't look cakey. I'm assuming it does the job of protecting my skin as I don't get burnt. My hubby and I went out a lot this summer and the first few weeks he didn't wear sunscreen he got burnt pretty badly. Not me though. Goes to show men should listen to their wives and waste the extra few minutes in putting on the SPF ;-)
All in all I would recommend this product as a good sunscreen.

To begin with, I'm already brown, so I'm not looking to get more brown. I want a bronzer that will add a healthy natural glow to my face. Summertime blush doesn't always look very natural or summery for girls with my skintone. Imo blush is great but for a natural everyday sun-kissed look, bronzer will do even better. That's exactly what I found in this product. It doesn't exactly add colour to my cheeks, but it adds a glowy hue, if that makes any sense. I actually like wearing this over a light coat of NARS Torrent blush. Gives me a healthy sunny glow.
$38 is quite steep for a bronzer, but if you look at the sheer size of this thing you realize that it'll last forever 'n' ever. The compact is so huge you can even use a large brush and dust this product on your shoulders and decolletage (you actually should do this if your shoulders/ neck is bare, so you match your face).
I definitely recommend this to anyone who's looking for a natural sun kissed glow. This is more apricot bronze instead of brown bronze, but imo that looks better anyways. You end up looking healthy sun kissed, not red and burnt.

My job varies by day, I can spend one entire day at my desk, and the next day I'm running all over the place. This deodorant keeps me dry and smelling fresh through all my days! I've tried all the deodorants out there (regular and "clinical strength") you name it I've tried it. This is by far the BEST I've ever tried, ever.
Anything I say will fall short of what this thing does, so go out and buy one and you'll see what I mean. I highly recommend this to everyone!

I've tried the day cream with SPF 30, and I would recommend to those with DRY skin.
I used to have super dry skin so had I tried this moisturizer a few months ago it would have been perfect for me. The texture is thick but not greasy, it goes on smooth and feels very moisturizing. I would highly recommend this to anyone with dry skin. I find it has the high quality feel without the high quality price tag.
However, I've made some lifestyle changes and have noticed that my skin is not dry anymore! I wouldn't have even noticed if I didn't get a pimple right after I started using this cream. I never ever get pimples, so for me the tiny pimple was very startling. I stopped using the cream and used something with salicylic acid for the pimple. Pimple went away, I tried the cream again and another one appeared. After 3 such pimples I realized it's the cream that's doing me in. I figure because my skin isn't super Sahara desert dry anymore, this uber moisturizing cream is causing breakouts. I've stopped using the cream and have stopped getting any more pimples.
Moral of the story: I highly recommend this product if you have dry skin. If your skin is normal, combo or oily, steer clear. This may break you out. I don't remember ever getting a pimple, so if this thing broke me out, I'd say it's heavy duty and not for the average skin.
I believe this product does an awesome job for those it is intended for. I just wish they had a Dry, Normal, Oily formulas so the rest of us non-dry skin folks could enjoy it.
Should I get dry skin again I'll definitely repurchase this and use it, but for now I'm staying clear.

I have super dry skin and am always on the lookout for good moisture rich cream. This cream really delivers in the moisture rich department. It's something that leaves my face soft, supple but not greasy. I've been using this cream on and off for years now, and whenever I do, my skin always sees the difference. I often get swayed by the latest advertises on other products, but always seem to come back to this when those don't pan out.
My only complaint with this moisturizer is, I wish it came with a high SPF so I could wear it during the day without having to layer separate SPF on top.

I received this product thanks to ChickAdvisor, right around the time I moved into my new place and was looking for an affordable, low maintenance air freshener.
What with living on my own and no more mom to pick up after me, keeping things low maintenance has been really important to me. I love a good smelling house, but I just don't have the time (nor do I remember) to spray my place with air freshener every day. Also, having my own place means I want something affordable, that I can easily up keep without considering it a splurge. Right around that time CA chose me as one of the reviewers for this new product.
This is really two fresheners in one. You have two complimentary scents that are sprayed into the air to keep the area smelling fresh and new every time. It isn't one scent, so it doesn't get thick, cloying, or boring. Both scents complement each other, so the difference in the scents is discernible but not overpoweringly so.
I love good smells as the next girl, but one down side with me is, certain smells give me migraine-like headaches. I was a bit afraid these might do that for me, but I'm happy to say it hasn't! I've plugged this into my master bedroom and keep it on "Low". It's enough to keep my room smelling beautiful, clean and fresh, but not give me any headache. I can plug this thing in and forget about it. It intermittently freshens the air with one of its scents, and keeps my rooms smelling fresh and new, without me having to think about it.
I can't say enough about the plug! It rotates! So you know how you want to plug something into a room but can't because of how the outlet is positioned (or you have something else plugged above it which can't be unplugged?). Well all that is taken care of because this plug rotates! Cool huh? Such a simple innovation, I'm surprised others haven't caught on sooner, but am very glad it's incorporated into this little thing.
"Morning Walk and Cleansing Rain" - the names say it all. I really can't explain how it smells (and NO it doesn't smell like pine cones, or any car scent accessory). The only word to describe the smell is "fresh and clean". It makes your room smell fresh and clean. You have to go smell it yourself to know what I'm talking about.
I've had many friends over this past week and pretty much everyone's made a comment on how nice my rooms smell, and I've been quick to pass the credit to this little gadget. For 11$/month I can have my home smelling like a home. Something I can plug in and forget about, couldn't ask for more.
Now if they only came out with a cleaner and cook that was as inexpensive and simple. Refill once a month and forgeddaboudit! It'll cook and clean without any intervention ;-) hehe
