I've been looking for a good night cream for the longest time. I'm a little bit of a makeup/skincare snob and I've exhausted a lot of the brands carried at Sephora catered to dry/dehydrated skin. There are some good ones out there but invariably they'll be too rich, or won't soak into the skin, or too light, etc.
I was actually surprised at how good this product was! It's actually cheaper than a lot of the others I have sitting at home (PTR, Caudalie, Algenist, etc) but i really liked it.
It leaves my skin feeling very smooth, but not greasy or oily. My skin felt very moisturized, yet fresh. And by the time I wake up in the morning there's no residue to clash with my makeup either.
I did try wearing it under makeup and it didn't go so well. My makeup overall looked greasy / muddy. I'm not taking points off for that because I don't think it's intended to be worn during the day.
I got this product c/o Chickadvisor and Vichy but I will absolutely be purchasing this once I run out. This is by far one of the best night creams I've tried. I highly recommend it to the dry/dehydrated girls out there looking for the perfect night cream.

It smells great and leaves your skin feeling soft, moisturized, but without the leftover residue feeling. One of my fav body washes and I invariably come back to it. Highly recommend!

A bit of background on me: I've always (thought that I) had dry skin. Despite which I get the occasional pimple from stress or too rich-moisturizers which is weird considering my skin is so dry. Because of which I've always struggled to find the 'perfect' moisturizer which was moisturizing enough without causing pimples. It's like my face has different skin type depending on the area. Confusing!
I've been using my MIA since mid-November 2012.
My experience so far has been:
**A pimple scar that I've had for a very long time is now completely gone because of the MIA. I concentrated the MIA on the scar and after a few uses I noticed it started to fade. It's completely gone now. I've only been using it since mid-November mind you.
**Every time I use the MIA my skin is super refreshed, bright and clear looking.
**I didn't experience any sensitivity
**I didn't get any breakouts
**My dry patches have completely gone
**After using the MIA I've come to realize that I really don't have the "dry" skin that I've always thought I had!! I actually have normal dehydrated skin!! That's why too-rich creams (e.g. PTR moisturizer for dry skin) brings forth a pimple overnight.
For my perfect skin I need the MIA and a good quality moisturizer. My current two favourites consist of the one from Sephora (pink tub) and the Korres rose brightening moisturizer. The perfect amount of moisture without being too heavy.
Con:
**There is no "con" with the product. My only "con" is I don't use it every day. I wish I did because I absolutely love the results I get with it every time.
I highly recommend this product. It's expensive but it is SO worth it. The MIA has made a really big difference in my skin and my skincare regime. I hope they never discontinue it because I don't know what I would do if they did.

This is an 'overnight facial in a jar' that supposedly helps moisturize, brighten, and even out the skin. I've been using it irregularly for a while now and I do find every time I use it, I wake up to hydrated and brighter looking skin. I just look fresh.
I typically use Korres brightening cleanser with my clairsonic and then the korres overnight facial before bedtime. The duo makes my skin look and feel super clean and fresh.
The price is more towards the steep range, going for $62.50 at Sephora. However I guess I can't complain unless I stumble across something equally good and cheaper.
Love it and highly recommend.

According to Sephora: This concealer is "Developed specifically for use under and around the eye area. Secret Concealer's moisture-rich, emollient formula is specially designed for the dry, sensitive skin under the eye to conceal discoloration and dark circles."
This concealer is very creamy, moisturizing even(!), goes on smoothly and beautifully. If I absolutely had to rate the coverage I would say its medium to buildable (or you can sheer it out by using a damp sponge). However, this concealer doesn't "cover" up your flaws, it's not thick and I don't think it's meant to cover, but rather it neutralizes the colour which is what makes it so amazing!
This may sound weird but if I'm sick, the colour around my nose and mouth area gets darker than my cheeks. On those days, this concealer completely neutralizes the darkness and brights my colour back to normal (where it matches the rest of my face). I've always been self-conscience about this in the past and didn't realize how to fix it until I came across this little miracle pot.
It's more of a colour corrector, or a colour neutralizer, than a cover-up. I highly recommend this to all the girls suffering from hyperpigmentation. It's amazing as an under eye concealer too! Again, it neutralizes the hyperpigmentation and returns the skin back to its regular colour.
Two thumbs up. I wouldn't want to be without this concealer, ever..!

Sephora is the exclusive retailer of this product, so let's first start the review with what Sephora says.
What it is:
An ultra long-lasting, matte finish, oil-free, waterproof, full coverage concealer.
What it is formulated to do:
Designed to cover major imperfections like scars, hyperpigmentation, major discoloration, burns, and tattoos. This light and creamy concealer contains a high concentration of pigments that stay put, making it perfect for use on the face, as well as the body.
Clinical Testing/Results:
Clinically tested on sensitive skin and dermatologically controlled for gentleness.
Now here's what I say
I've tried a lot of concealers and I have to say, as much as "concealing" or completely covering up goes, this one can't be beat. It literally goes on like a layer of skin and covers the blemish. I imagine it would cover tattoos just as well. Considering how opaque it is, it doesn't get cakey. It has a very creamy consistency, yet dries pretty fast so it needs to be blended / patted into place quickly. It doesn't dry out my skin (I have dry skin), and honestly, it does what it says it. It completely covers everything. I can't emphasize enough how well it covers everything.
The only thing I wouldn't use this for is to cover dark under eye circle. There's a difference between the skin under our eyes and the skin on the rest of our body. Also, if you have a tattoo or blemish, you want to cover it up, but if you have serious under eye circles, you want to "colour correct" the area first! I was looking through the Sephora reviews, and saw pretty much all the people that didn't like this concealer used it to cover their under eye circles. From all my experiments, under eye circles should be colour corrected, not covered up. Our under eye skin is too thin to take a full cover up. To conceal the under eye we need to figure out what colour it currently is and then use a concealer to neutralize that colour. As an added step we can then use either a powder or another concealer on top to cover the neutralized skin further. Creamier salmon coloured concealers work best for under eye circles.
This concealer is great value and I would even repurchase it ... if I ever ran out (seems to last forever)!

Let me start with what the website says:
What it is:
A collection of luxurious powder blushes, each with a silky texture.
What it does:
Sweep on this silky, sheer, and ultra-buildable blush to create your own true hue. Each of these shades contains rhodiola, an arctic plant root that makes cheeks appear refreshed, allowing them to come alive with color. Whether you’re looking for a luminous flush or a pop of vibrance, this featherweight formula gives you the color of your dreams.
What it is formulated WITHOUT:
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Synthetic Fragrances
- Phthalates
- GMOs
- Triclosan
Here's what I say:
This is a perfectly pigmented blush that goes on smoothly, doesn't highlight pores or settle into any lines, but just looks as sheer or wild as you want it to. It's goes on beautifully, and if you find you've applied too much, simply blend it out. It is buildable and the colour Euphoria is extremely flattering. It gives a gorgeous flush to the cheeks, and is wearable in all the seasons. You look warmed by the sun, or nipped by the cold, both ways, quite flattering! :) This vibrant colour is very wearable and can be worn everyday. Dressing up, dressing down, weekends, or posh dinner, whatever, this blush works. Highly recommend this brand and this shade! A must try!

I've been looking for a product that would give my face an all over "glow" without looking like I have glitter on my face. Honestly, I've tried illuminators, highlights you name it I've tried it. In the process I've found quite a few great products but still not the one product for an all over face glow. This does exactly what I've described. Gives a luminous glow all over the face without looking overwhelming or like you have glitter on.
I stumbled across this product last time I was at Sephora. I'm actually surprised that none of the Sephora reps suggested it to me as I've asked at quite a few locations for a product that would give me a glow. Anyways, this product does just that.
I think of it as a 'finishing powder' to sort of finish my look on the days I want to look more glowy and radiant. This powder comes in 3 colours. I use the word "colour" tentatively, it's not really a colour, more like a shade of glow? According to Lorac the three are:
Luminous: golden cream.
Radiant: golden brown.
Spotlight: warm beige.
Luminous is quite pinkish so I assume that is for our pale sisters. Radiant and Spotlight are almost the same, except Radiant is just a tad bronzier than Spotlight. I bought mine in Spotlight, and so far am loving it. It's so wearable and sheer that I dust it all over my face using a fluffy brush (instead of just the highlight areas).
My only peeve with this product is the price. I can see this price being a deterrent for other users. This is only 0.34oz which is quite small for $42! I guess a little goes a long way ...still I would have liked to see a lower price point for so little product.

I just discovered this highlight and I have to say it's gorgeous. It is pigmented, a dab goes a long way, and gives a moonlit glow to the high points on the cheek. It is a cream so it doesn't look dusty, cakey, or too shimmery. It doesn't give the look of enlarged pores like some highlights might, it looks just luminous.
I would probably wear this in the evening / night more than the day since it is more noticeable than say my Nars orgasm illuminator. It is just beautiful and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a more noticeable highlight that flatters the skin.

This is an awesome illuminator. Its a lot of product if you compare it to other illuminators out there. It goes on beautifully and gives the skin a natural looking glow. It's not stark white as some illuminators are. I own it and will repurchase it if it ever finishes...and it doesn't seem like it ever will, 'cuz it's just sooo much product! Definitely recommend this if you're looking for a soft natural sheen / glow look. -
