I received this product courtesy of chickadvisor product review club, and it couldn't have come at a better time. My hair's super dry, static-y and frizzy, so I was in the market to try something new. I was really excited to receive this product (who doesn't like presents in the mail!?) and tried it as soon as it came.
The first time I used it, I was so surprisingly horrified!! Chunks of hair came off my head. I mean chunks!! I was SO disapointed (freaked out & scared...), but I waited to write a review until I tried it again. I never write a review upon first use, even if i love the first use, so no different here. Also, I normally love L'Oreal products so I especially didn't want to review based on one bad experience. So I tried it again.
I'm so glad I did!!! The way I use it is this: After I shampoo, I squeeze excess water out of my hair and then saturate my hair with this treatment. I shower without putting water in my hair, until at least 5mins have passed, and then I rinse out the treatment. I rinse a lot as this stuff is very heavy and I don't want my hair weighed down. I was a bit scared trying it the second time, but no abnormal amount of hair was lost! In fact, 'normal' amount of hair wasn't lost either! I hardly lost a strand or two! Since then I've blow dried my hair, and air dried my hair, and both left my hair feeling very soft. I didn't use any other styling products just 'cuz I wanted to see how this product works by itself, and it was great! I didn't use any anti frizz products, but my hair still didn't frizz or static.
Why the first experience was horrendeous is beyond me. I was suffering through a really high fever when I first tried this mask, so perhaps it was a contributing factor? Whatever the case, the many times I've used this since then, I've only been happy with it. I would highly recommend this to others, and if you have a bad experience with this product (or any product) when using it once, give it at least a second chance to redeem itself.
I would absolutely love if L'Oreal came out with a leave-in conditioner or moisturizing spray / mousse with this line.

My hair is fine, but there's a lot of it. I colour it a lot, and although I don't think I have split ends, my hair tends to look dry, and I do have frizz and flyaways (especially in the dry winter season!), so I'm always on the lookout for something moisturizing.
The first thing I noticed was the smell. It smells soooo good!! It smells pineapple-y. A very soft smell, not strong or overpowering at all. The texture is quite creamy, and the first time I used it I had to re-read the label and make sure it says 'shampoo' and not conditioner. It lathers well considering its conditioner like consistency. It made my hair feel soft and smooth as I was rinsing it out (just like a good conditioner)! I actually used it alone a few times, without any conditioners 'cuz I wanted to see what happens. And what happened was soft smooth hair! My hair didn't feel dry or frizzy, it actually felt like I did condition my hair.
I blow dried my hair and it continued to feel soft and conditioned. I would even go so far as to not use conditioner when I use this shampoo, 'cuz it seems to do such a good job conditioning my hair.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this to my friends, and I'm sure I'll be buying this myself once the bottle runs out. My only complaint would be that the bottle is so tiny! I have a lot of hair and feel like I need a lot of shampoo, so I'll have to curb that impulse when I use this and try to use less to make it last longer.

Price: I paid $100 for the cut, and that's pretty standard in "high end" salons (e.g. Salon Danielle). However, in Salon Danielle you don't get the owner to cut your hair for you for $100... you get a sous-stylist. Here, for this price you get a fabulous celebrity stylist who actually LISTENS to what YOU want, gives GREAT SUGGESTIONS on what will suit you (your face, skin tone, personality) the most, and actually FOLLOWS THROUGH with the agreed upon style.
Ambiance: Very clutter free salon, not at all the biggest I've ever seen, but not crowded either. It's really friendly, the staff look like they're enjoying their jobs, and it just has a really chic but fun atmosphere all around.
Service: You walk in through the door and the receptionist greets you with a huge smile, takes your coat and offers you a drink. All the other customers looked really pleased with their stylist and styles. I love to people watch, and everyone around me was really having a good time. The stylists all seemed to have a personal friendly relationship with their customers, and all the hairs around me looked fabulously groomed.
I had called ahead and made my consultation appointment with Eric (the owner). I initially went in to colour my hair, and wanted to consult with whether he could do it (as I had previously dyed my hair blue-black), what colour he'd choose and how much it'd be. We started talking, I didn't feel rushed (even though I was the last person there!). Eric really listened to what I had to say (basically I know my blue-black hair suits me, but i'm bored with my style), and he suggested instead of a colour, how about I do a bit of reshaping. It'll make my hair healthier, and give it a change so i'm not so bored anymore. I'm normally extremely wary of cutting my hair due to numerous bad experiences, but the way he described my haircut: no V (we hate the 'rats tail' V!), no thinning shears, long layers, no layer shorter than my jaw, some layers around my face giving it a good frame, all of this while keeping the length 'cuz I'm trying to grow my hair....well, he sounded like my hair-soulmate from heaven. Seriously. I was still extremely nervous when cutting day finally rolled around.
In short: Eric just really pays attention to you, what you want, and what's going on. The stylist who was shampooing my hair kept getting water all over my face and neck, which I kept wiping away with my hands. Eric was with another customer, but he passed by me and handed me a small face towel. When he was cutting my hair, I noticed how when cutting the length he actually unsnapped the back of the L'Oreal haircutting gown so he can see the proper length of my hair against my back, and cut it. All in all, he was really particular and careful to detail. He wasn't scissor-happy at all, but really concentrated, took his time getting my hair perfect. He was true to our agreement: my hair is exactly how he explained it would be. He finished with a blowdry 'do' - crazy volume and hair flippin' all ova the place ;-) Looked amazing! Couldn't believe it was me!
Even after I shampooed (after a few days of not washing my hair and enjoying my style, which btw lasted a crazy amount of time!), I loved my cut. It obviously doesn't look all gorgeous-drama like when Eric did it, but it looks very chic, very even, very cute!
I'm SO happy I went here, and would go back in a heartbeat!!
The only thing I need to do now is call Eric back and ask him the name of the serum / mousse he used on my hair to make it so soft, silky, shiny 'n gorgeous...

I've used a spin brush in the past and was never a big fan of it. I found it didn't do a good job of cleaning my teeth. I am very blessed with white teeth, but in the very recent past when I bought and tried another spin brush, my teeth stopped looking so shiny white after a week of use!
I always did want to try another brand, just to see if I was unlucky or if spin brushes really don't suit me.
What I look for on any toothbrush is:
-thoroughly cleans my teeth & between my teeth
-doesn't irritate my gums
-it keeps my teeth looking white
I was so happy to get selected for this review, because I've been seeing ads for this product all over TV and it looks so good, but with my previous bad experience with spin brushes, I didn't want to take the risk and invest that sort of money on something that won't suit me.
First time I used it, I was a bit startled at the feel of it in my mouth. Felt very vigorous, if that makes any sense? The old spin brush I tried I felt wasn't forceful enough, this one felt just right. It didn't hurt my gum or sensitize me at all. After the first use I felt like I really cleaned my teeth. But since I care more about the long term I kept using this spin brush exclusively for over a week now, twice a day to see if it really does what it's supposed to.
After a week of use I can in good conscience recommend this product. It cleans my teeth very well, keeps my teeth white, feeling clean, and doesn't irritate my gum. The only thing is I had to get used to the vibrating / pulsing sensation, but that didn't take too long either. This is in fact so good that I bought the extra heads so my husband can use it too. He absolutely loves it!! He's a bit of a teeth freak, and he loved the way this baby cleaned his teeth too. I don't believe he's had any gum irrigation either, and he's told me that he really feels this cleans better than traditional brushing. On top of it's performance, I find the battery lasts a while too. I charge it at night after the last brushing, and I've never had it run out of power on me yet.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this product. It is pricey but if you buy one unit and several heads (colour code them with nailpolish or something so you don't accidentally use your hubbys *yuck*), it's worth the price.
This does what it claims to do, and I'm very happy with it.

First of all, let's see what the specs have to say:
Quadband, Touchscreen, 5Mp camera, GPS Receiver, 3.5G, wireless, bluetooth, supports microSD, 8GB built in memory, 32 GB expandable memory, BB OS 7, and weighs about 130g.
The few things that jump out at me is: Touchscreen, 5MP Camera, 8GB Built In Memory, GPS Receiver and BB OS7!
I love how the touchscreen ads such an element of fun to this thing. You can zoom in, out, pinch, etc. just like you can on most other touchscreen phones. You also have the option of firing out text messages and bbms at lightening speed with the beautifully spaced out qwerty keyboard (first bold to have a fantastic keyboard, finally!). The browser is fast and easy, the built in apps such as Maps, Compass, etc. are easy to use and work great. You can also add lots of free apps such as Blackberry Traffic in which you can enter your start and end points and it'll guide you around the maze of traffic so you can arrive faster. The 5MP camera doesn't hurt anyone either. It still has the same reliable business features as the old BBs such as supporting multiple emails, including enterprise emails, calendars, etc. Perfect sync'ing between my work and personal emails and calendars. It does all the functions the old reliable BB did, only better. And with touchscreen. Fun!! :-)
This baby has got to be seen to be believed. I can now proudly say I am a BB lover. It's a tool, and a toy. When BB comes out with a new version, it's not just another upgrade to the software, or the edges are sharp instead of curved (ahem, iphone, ahem), but it's an actual true to life upgrade.
I forget what I ever did without my touch screen with full qwerty super fast and beautiful and lovely BB Bold 9900. I highly, highly recommend this to everyone!

The Blackberry Bold 9780 is basically "BB Bold 9700" with all the issues fixed. It's a bold but in a smaller sized unit. It has all the 3G / wifi / bluetooth / camera / etc. features of a bold, with upgradeable memory, except it's smaller. The keyboard is hard to use, as it is on every bold thus far.
The Bold 9780 doesn't have the issues its predecessor Bold 9700 had. In my opinion, BB made a mistake releasing the 9700, they should have tested better, fixed the bugs and released 9780 in one shot. The few extra sells they made didn't do their reputation any good.
Anyways this bold is a bold and does everything it promises to do. It sync's effortlessly with your emails, calendar, etc. and gives you a reliable interface on a smartphone.
I would recommend this. The only reason I'm giving it so few stars is because there are better options in today's Blackberry market which out perform this model by far.

This is the one BB Bold I can say is a total rip off. I have used it through work, and have troubleshoot it and seen the numerous issues people face while using it, so I can honestly say, if you want a BB, go for it, but just not this one. Out of all the people I know using this BB, only one person has a good one. The rest of them have lemons.
Some of the problems they encounter is:
The speaker / sound stops working - so no listening to music out loud or even hearing your ring tone!
The headphone feature stops working
The Hands free feature stops working
The headset sound itself stops working - so when making a call, you won't hear anyone!
Now I do know how to fix all of these, the fixes aren't very difficult, but that's besides the point. When you're paying $500 for a cellphone, you should expect for it to work straight out of the box and not come with a plethora of issues.
I don't recommend this model to anyone.

This review is on the BB Curve 3G - 9800.
The keyboard on this baby is beautiful just like on all curves. Spaced perfectly, it's very comfortable to hold and use. It has all the high end 3G / blutooth / wifi qualities of its bigger Bold brother, but comes in a durable, smaller, more comfortable unit. The camera on it is average, but then again a BB is a tool, not a toy, so I don't technically expect the camera to be *that* good. I've used it for 2years now without a problem. It is very reliable, easy to troubleshoot and very durable.
Of all the curves so far this is by far the best. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a BB Curve.

Please note, I'm reviewing the Blackberry Bold 9000 here.
Each BB is different (at least I think so), therefore they should be reviewed individually to give the proper picture of what it's all about.
The BB Bold 9000 is the start of a new era in BB Bolds. It's, well, Bold. It does what it's supposed to, which is provide a smartphone for the businessman. It's reliable, easy to troubleshoot, easy to add / remove emails accounts, is very easy to integrate with corporate emails (via enterprise activation process), and all 'round great tool to have. Notice I said "tool" not "toy". It's not a gadget or toy to play with, so those looking for a gadgety iphone experience need not look here.
The one thing I've never liked about almost all the Bolds is the qwerty keyboard. The keys are spaced so weird that I find it a struggle to hold it and type.
I would recommend it ....sort of...not really. Sitting here writing the review for this BB today - 11/21/2011, I wouldn't necessarily recommend the BB Bold 9000. More have come out which are better, more comfortable to work with, share the same ease of use and reliability, and incorporates FUN too!

Mascara's as a whole tend to work really well on me. Very rare does a mascara not suit me, for some weird reason. This is no different at all! It lifts my lashes, coats them with fibre so they appear extra long, fills in all the gaps so they look oh so thick, and it lasts all day! What more could you ask for?
Well, it's my fault entirely, but I stupidly picked up the "waterproof" version of this mascara....and the bugger works so well, it doesn't wanna come off!! :-( Now I'm very hesitant to wear this mascara and only wear it on special days when I want my eyes to stand out just that extra bit more. 'Cuz I don't look forward to going to sleep with mascara eyes, nor do I like losing lashes when taking the mascara off. Yes yes, I know as the fibre comes off it feels like lashes are coming off. But really, this is so extremely waterproof that it's equally extremely hard to take off.
If I could change things, I'd get the regular version of this mascara. Besides the fight to remove, I give this mascara two thumbs up!
