I use this on my face, and avoid the hot mess that I inevitably incur when using traditional wax. No heating the wax, no using cloths trips, no washing the strips later. No stringy waxy hot mess. Just put the strips on your hairy skin, smooth down firmly, pull your face skin with one hand to make it tight and rip with the other. Painful, but good. I would recommend this to those looking to wax at home without the mess. -

I bought this the first time in a hurry on my way outta the country. It looked decent enough (it was pink, had a good grippy handle, didn't look cheap or flimsy) and was a good price, and each packet came with 3 razors. I was VERY impressed with the quality of the shave. Very close shave, didn't nick or cut me at all, and lasted for a while. I would have to shave my legs maybe twice a week, it was that good! The razors lasts forever too, I was on vacay for a month and I don't think I used all 3 of the razors! Very impressed with the great quality. I would highly recommend this. -

I tried the traditional way of waxing: heating the wax in the microwave and then using cloth strips. Then washing the strips later to reuse them (honestly, I mostly threw them away. To my defense the wax was very difficult to get off!). Then a friend of mine introduced me to Veet wax strips. Three words: SO. MUCH. BETTER!
You can cut the strips to the length you need. Stick it on, rub it well and pull! No mess, no spilled wax, no burning yourself, no heating, nothing! Just nicely waxed legs.
I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to wax at home without the mess.

I've only ever had one ankle cutting incident but that was probably my own fault, trying to shave too fast. All in all this is a good razor. The only 'con' I can think of is the price is pretty steep and the refills cost almost the same as the razors themselves. -

This gives medium to build-able full coverage. I don't find it to be cakey at all. In fact it evens out the face without feeling like a lot of makeup. It's very photo friendly, no white flashed face, no sparkly bits. Just beautiful, flawless, natural looking skin.
I put it on at 7am this morning and came to work. I just went and checked, and my face still looks as fresh as ever. I even went for an hour power walk outside during lunch (had to run/walk to keep up with my long legged coworkers! Damn boys don't know how to walk slow), and it kept. I didn't use a lot either. About half a pump for my entire face did the trick. One thing I found with this foundation was it's very build-able, so on days you need a bit more coverage, you can pack a bit more on without looking cakey. This is not so for other high end foundations. For eg. I used to a be a huge MAC fan until I compared their foundation with other companies and realized that theirs are really bad quality for a 'high quality / high price' foundation! Too thick and goes on cakey. Unless your face is perfectly exfoliated, moisturized and the moisturizer has dried, you will look cakey with a MAC foundation (at least that's the case for me). I own Mac Studio Fix fluid, Mac Studio Sculpt, Mac studio tech, Mac studio fix powder and Mac mineralized skinfinish.
Mac Studio fix fluid, Studio Sculpt and Studio tech all are exactly what I said; you need to be well exfoliated and moisturized for it to look good. Otherwise you get the pore-ish, cakey foundation look. Studio fix powder is amazing, I gotta say. Mineralized skinfinish looks like you have glitter on your face if you use too much of it. Used sparingly on the cheeks, bridge of nose, etc. gives a good highlight effect. Looks surprisingly good in pictures too.
The Mac foundations (i'm picking on mac since its so popular) and the mufe hd foundation are competitive in pricing, but I'd def' go mufe over mac.

I recently bought #12 Golden Copper and I LOVE it. Without a base, it lasts forever on my lids. Normal eyeshadow (e.g. mac, lancome, sephora, tarina tarantino, etc) crease without a good base under it. Not so this one. I even had my eye brows threaded while I had this on. I have to hold the lid down and touch it all up while the threading lady did her thing, and when I went home I could still see the eyeshadow! Crazyness. So just use a eyeliner brush and apply it as liner to the top of your lids and you should be good to go!

I recently purchased 7 jars of Evelyn & Crabtree "Naturals Coco Butter, Nutmeg & Cardamom Body Butter". Yes, 7, lol. They're discontinuing that product so I stocked up. I've tried a lot of different body butters but that one is so very moisturizing! And the moisture lasts and lasts. It's not like one of those moisturizers that feel good when you apply it but disappears in an hour. This one actually lasts all day and until you shower. I have super dry skin, so for me to say this, means a lot. The only problem with this body butter is I keep touching my arms. Did I mention it smells yummy? -

I'm a huge die hard harry potter fan, and although as always books always rock over movies, I have to say they did an AMAZING job in all the HP movies, but especially this last one.
When I heard that book 7 was being split into 2 movies I was a bit skeptical, maybe they're trying to milk the public for all it's worth? But when I saw HP7v2, it just blew my mind. Again, this will never replace the book. No matter how detailed they try to make it, the book is just too thorough to be replaced for a few hours on screen. That being said, this is an excellent movie. It was thrilling, kept you emotionally gripped, made you cry, sigh, and basically give you major withdrawal once it's over.
I loved all the special effects, and you could see they really did try to at least convey the feel of the book across in the movie.
Just to give you an idea of how good I found the movie, I've already watched it twice, once in IMAX.
I highly recommend it to one and all.
This is going down as a classic epic tale of magic, family and friends.

On my toes it'll last until my nails grow out (crazy, huh?) but on my hands it lasts a few days at most. Then again I have very chippy hands! All in all I would highly recommend this to everyone. -

So this doesn't dry in 60 seconds, so what. You're also paying only $3 for it! I think this is an awesome nailpolish line for those who love colour and wish to experiment. It has good shine, doesn't wear off any faster than the more expensive brands (at least on my nails. Aka everything wears off fast on my nails!). I think it's totally worth the price and quality, I own this in several shades and I'd definitely re-buy this. -
