This is a hard to find product these days, but was a fantastic toy for my daughter! It deals with letter sounds (long and short vowel sounds) and has the CANADIAN pronunciation of Z (zed). I believe this has helped instill early reading and writing skills. She still plays with the letters on our fridge, now creating words and spelling the names of her friends and family members. An excellent product my Leap Frog! -

I have always used Ivory bar soap as my skin is sensitive to most perfumed soaps and body washes. I decided to try the Ivory Body Wash and am glad I did! It is sensitive enough for my skin, and gives the same clean feeling I have come to love from the bar soap. I even use it on my daughter who was previously only able to use sensitive baby wash without breaking out into a rash. -

I was so excited when the Vox came out, I had my husband go out that day and buy it for me for Christmas!
Since then, I have found a number of issues that make me wish I had continued my search.
1) The Vox charger is short - I have a daughter who likes to use my Vox. Quite often it will need a charge when I go to use it, and the cord is so short that I can't plug it in to the outlet behind my bedside table and still use it.
2) The charger is not universal. The Vox requires a more powerful charger than your standard Micro USB charger. For the longest time they were completely unavailable, but I believe you can now purchase one from their website if you lose it.
3) It is slow! The Vox is trying to exist somewhere between eReader and tablet. As a result, you get a very heavy eReader that is much slower than your average tablet. I was hoping to enjoy some apps on the Vox, but they run so slow that it makes it not worth the hassle.
Plus Points:
My daughter loves that she can have stories read to her by the Vox.
I do appreciate the lit back screen very much.
All in all, I wish i had waited and bought an iPad mini.

When I discuss Gymboree with my mommy friends I hear complaints about the prices. Budget is a very big concern for my family, and I have actually saved money by shopping at Gymboree. If you are going in once every other week to pick out an outfit it can be very pricey, but if you collect coupons from magazines and emails, shop the sales ($2 for a skirt and $3 for a matching top, yes please!), collect Gymbucks and shop clearance during Gymbucks redemption you can make an absolute killing!
Join a Gymbo forum and find out about ways to save for yourself!

4 years later, I have taken the old baby clothes out of storage for my 2nd baby, and the stains have re-appeared - it's like invisible ink! This time around I'm sticking to other stain removers.

It definitely gets the job done, but it much more expensive than other stain removers that work almost as well.
We but Tide Stain Release for the tough jobs, but use a less expensive brand for the everyday messes.

I love this stroller. It has 12 different configurations, and has been a life saver.
The price point is very good compared to other strollers.
Although not recommended, in a pinch I have pushed by baby attached on the front, with a 2 year old sitting on the bench and 2 very tired 4 year olds standing on the platform, and it wasn't overly hard to push.
The stroller is a monster - we have a Grand Caravan, and I can't fit it standing up in the back unless I remove the extra rear facing infant seat and the front canopy. This is fine for us as at this point we usually use it as a sit and stand for the 4 year old with the baby either attached in her infant car set or strapped in like a big girl.

My daughter has always had sensitive skin, and it broke my heart to see how chapped her hands got this past winter. They were bright red, cracked, and she would scream in pain when washing her hands. You never want to see your 4 year old go through this. We couldn't use regular lotions as it would burn and cause more pain. I was about to take her to the doctor to see what, if any relief he could provide when my mother in law recommended a hand salve. I immediately went to the store and picked up Burts Bees Hand Salve. We put it on her overnight, and by morning she was better - not perfect, but a LOT better. We used this all winter to fix her hands and prevent them from getting chapped again. It's oily, but it works well. -
These are the best nursing pads available! They don't show through your clothes like other brands do, have tape to stick to your bra so they don't move, and are reasonable priced.

When I had my first born I was given a double pump as an unsolicited gift. Reluctantly, I tried it... once. I was convinced that pumping would not be for me. I'm so glad that a friend suggested I try the Medela Swing pump. I was able to use this pump every day, which saved my supply (my EBF baby slept 12 hours overnight from 3 months on, great for sleep, terrible for maintaining my supply!).
I highly recommend Medela pumps to anyone, especially those who are sensitive... :) GL!
