I usually use Tom's of Maine, which I'm happy with, but I wanted to test the waters again and try something new. Organic, vegan deodorant is a bit of a Wild West I've found, in terms of quality, and I keep hoping things will become more consistent. Penny Lane - in particular, Penny Lane Organics Natural Deodorant Pink Grapefruit - was another step back and a total letdown. Talk about crumblefest! Omg! This deodorant went verywhere except my pits! Come on, Penny Lane. This couldn't have been more of a fail on the bare-minimum deodorant front - a big clean-up job, I lost a significant percentage of the deodorant brick on first use, and it was problematic to close once opened - the lid and container don't seem to like each other. Difficult to twist up after opening as well - I thought I was never going to get there, and when I did: crumblefest. The most crumble ever. Yikes. Did it smell good? Yah. It did. Big whoop. -
