I don't typically use dry shampoos. I guess I prefer the old-fashioned way of washing my hair, but sometimes, a gal just has to admit she doesn't have the time.
I tried one dry shampoo in the past, and frankly, it did nothing to remove the grease and oil from my hair. I gave up on dry shampoos until I tried the Batiste Dry Shampoo Original Clean & Classic.
The first thing I noticed was its powerful spray. Seriously, you could kill a large spider with the power of that spray! The second thing I noticed was its pleasant smell. It had a hint of baby powder--nothing chemical about that.
Last, I was happy to see (and feel) that it did as advertised, removing additional oils from my hair. My locks felt soft, not stiff, and significantly less oily. At the very least, I could go out in public without looking like a slob. When this bottle runs out, I will definitely be purchasing a larger one in the future.

I love lipsticks that glide on smoothly, so I must share my love for Bourjois Paris Color Boost Lip Crayon. I have Peach on the Beach, a lush peach-based shade that smells heavenly and went on almost like a gloss. The texture was soft, and the colour strong. A gentle layer was surprisingly strong and deep. It had a gentle shine, and I was happy to see that it did not dry out on my lips, a good bonus. -

I always like my lipsticks and glosses to stay on my lips. When they migrate south of the lip border, things get troublesome. No Bleeding Lips Secret Lipliner presents a clear lip pencil that keeps your makeup rightfully in its place. I applied a light layer just a couple of millimeters beyond my natural lip line and then applied a lipgloss without specific care. After checking, I saw no bleeding or feathering that glosses are notorious for.
In addition to being waterproof, it also has no mineral oil, paraffins, and is vegan. Since it works with all types of shades, this is one product I will be using everytime I apply lipstick or lip gloss.

Moreover, the ice cream is made with all-Canadian imported milk, which means supporting our farmers and the industry. -

Come summertime time, the boots come off and the sandals and heels slip on. I always use foot creams nightly to eliminate cracked heels and soften rough skin. Soap & Glory's Heel Genius foot cream has a great scent and smooth texture. I was pleased to see the cream was not sticky or tacky. The colour threw me for a loop (it has a blue-green sheen), but it went on clear. I loved how it immediately made my heels feel smooth. I felt it definitely had the power to penetrate the skin and revive it beyond the basic layer of the epidermis. -

Kleenex is a regular staple in my household (I own a St. Bernard). I admit sometimes I buy based on the box design. My box had a black-and-white Dalmation design, and comes with 74 tissues. Although the tissue is 2-ply, its texture is soft, and it did not tear too easily. It was able to mop up water, cream, and some makeup off my hand with no issue. Its compact size is a good fit for most small spaces, including desks, lockers, drawers, or the car. -

GOSH'S Bronzing Shimmer Powder offers five different shades for your skin tone and glitter-- lots of glitter. While the colour went on well, the shimmer was a bit of a distraction when you want a more subtle glow. This is probably not useful for contouring. But I would still use this around my temple area and under the neckline to allow for more light diffusion than matte bronzers would allow. -

I always use concealer to cover up dark spots on the face, such as under the eyes and the corner of the lips. A few drops of No Dark Shadows Complexion Enhancer (in Wow) under my eyes did a lovely job of brightening up the area and creating a seamless blend on the skin. It dried quickly and did not crease under my eyes (a pet peeve of mine). This one is worth checking out for those looking for a good concealer. -
