I discovered this aloe gel in my search for a great moisturizer that also helps prevent acne. This is a wonderfu, fresh smelling product that definitely does an amazing job of controlling oil and stopping breakouts from happening. I think that it controls sebum very well, which helps to keep your pores free of that yucky stuff.
It’s a very light weight gel, it has an amazing cooling sensation when you put it on and if you have redness from an existing breakout it will calm that down. A little goes a long way with this and you only have to apply a light layer to your face. I only gave it minus one star because it’s not as effective in a dry winter climate. My skin in the winter can get very dry and this unfortunately doesn’t help much. You could apply it and then a heavy duty moisturizer of you really needed to continue to use it in winter. I’ve also used this while living in the Caribbean and Hawaii so it’s good as a moisturizer for those tropical climates and oily/combination/acne prone skin out there.

I’m always on the look out for products that strengthen my nails and prevent them from breaking. I like to grow my nails out naturally and sometimes that’s hard because they break easily. I have been using this nail polish remover now for the past three years and have seen a reduction in nail breakage. My bathroom is never without this and I love the scent. It’s not harsh or off-putting like so many other brands are. It removed nail polish very well and even though it wasn’t designed to remove gel nail polish it can with a little bit of effort. You have to soak your nails for quite some time in this and will have to use a nail tool to completely scrap everything off, so I don’t want to give anyone the impression that using this is easy to get gel off. It’s a great value too that can be found everywhere and at my local Walmart it’s about $3. -

This has been one of the best hair treatment products that I have used for my frizzy hair. I have really long hair that's super thick and wavy so getting my hair under control in humidity is always a massive battle. This treatment helps me so much with that and after using it once I was hooked. The formula smells great and I honestly leave this in for around 10 minutes then rinse. The results are immediate. The frizziness definitely died down and my hair was a lot softer. If you are looking for a cost effective way to moisturize your hair and reduce frizz try this. -

I just finished my 10th bottle of this stuff and recently switched to the plum Sakura scent. I will say that I stuck with this for quite sometime because it has such a relaxing scent to it. It has always reminded me of a spa. This does the job in very dry cold climates to help moisturize my very dry skin and I love the creamy texture. It’s also an awesome value, the Walmart that I live next to deeply discounts this line to $3.50, normally it’s around $5. So you don’t even have to go with the generic equate Walmart brand. The original stuff is better anyway. -

I decided to try this because I needed something that had light coverage, it claimed to do 9 wonderful things like moisturize, brighten, provide spf, and conceal etc. The price point on this in drugstores is also a win ($8-$9 at Walmart). Its a super convenient tube that’s easily transportable in a make up bag and I really liked the way it looked and blended on my face. It definitely evened out spots on my cheekbones and minimizes the appearance of my pores. Unfortunately this really dried out my skin and made it itchy, then slightly broke me out along my cheeks. There was definitely no moisturizing going on here.
I have sensitive combination acne prone skin and should have probably done a patch test before slathering it all over my face, this is a no go for me.

This is a dupe for the Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup remover and you really can't go wrong with this purchase as it ranges from $5-$6 at your local Walgreens or Walmart. It does feel like you're slathering on olive oil all over your face to get your make up off, however it does a pretty good job, you'll just have to do your double cleanse right afterwards to get that oily feeling off of you. I gave it minus one start for taking a while to get waterproof maraca off. I'm on my second bottle of this stuff and it's been consistently hard to remove mascara, but it eventually comes off. Make sure you shake this thing really well before use, as it separates easily.
If you use makeup you're going to need something to take it off, this is a cost effective way to go.

I really wanted to like this lotion but could not after it made me break out with smaller pimples. I have very sensitive acne prone skin and this lotion designed to fight acne didn't help me. It is a light lotion, that isn't greasy but after trying to use this for two months with no success, I switched to Tony Moly's Tea Tree sebum and pore lotion and got immediate acne reduction results from that product (which has the same light watery consistency as the fact shop lotion). The packaging is also terrible, why glass? The toner is also the same glass bottle so if you use this line, and travel a lot you're lugging around a lot of weight in your beauty travel case. I also found that it didn't dispense very well from that tiny hole, so when you are down the the end you have to shake it vigorously hoping something will drop down into your palm. No doubt if your acne doesn't act up a lot like mine does, this will be ok for you. -

I have the strangest thoughts cross my mind when I'm wearing this mask, like "how many snails did it take to make the mask I'm wearing?" or "how do they get all of that snail mucin out of the snails? Do they squeeze them?" I know that it sounds gross to have snail juice sit on your face for 30 minutes but in 30 minutes that snail juice is going to completely change your complexion and add a glow to your skin. Using one of these masks is like going to get a facial and if you have ever used Cosrx advanced snail 96 mucin power essence, its like being doused in a more powerful version of that. This mask helps my acne scars to fade faster and also even out skin tone. I used this mask once a week or before any special event that I want my skin looking its best. I've never had a bad reaction or breakout from using this face mask and have had it as a part of my routine for the past year. -

Out of the entire Clean Face acne line by The Face Shop this product worked the best. These little patches I'd say are only 80% as effective as the Cosrx. They definitely help to reduce the size of pimples but for really bad ones, Cosrx does the better job of overnight shrinkage and pulling all of that nasty guck out. You also get more of those little patches with the Cosrx one so that is a better value at $5 with guaranteed results as opposed to this face shop product at $8 that is hit or miss. -

I love the Tony Moly line but I don’t love the panda eye products. If the company put as much effort into the formula for this and the eye stick as they do the packaging you’d have a bomb awesome product. The eye patches are not something I’d run out and try to get, if you so happen to be in a tony moly store then get it for novelty sake. Its moisturizing, it’s cooling on the eyes, so it makes you relax when wearing it but in terms of lightening dark circles it falls very short. Maybe this is something you have to consistently apply on a regular basis and use long term? It's under $2 so its relatively inexpensive to get on a re-occurring basis but I’d rather try out new eye creams, serums and essences for that! -
