Julep Light On Your Lips Full-Coverage Crème Lipstick

My lips dry out a lot, and I find that with many lipsticks they end up looking flaky and fade too quickly. I also work in retail so I'm constantly talking, constantly drinking coffee and water, and so my lipstick tends to go to crap pretty quickly. But with this line of lipstick from Julep, you get a truly great product. As the name suggests, it's incredibly lightweight, full coverage, and comes in a million different beautiful colours. They are about to add six more colours to their fall line and I'm so excited to try a few. Even better, the lipstick case is magnetic, so it won't come off in your purse and get everywhere, and ruin your lipstick. Also it collects all of the loose bobby pins that inevitably somehow end up in my purse, haha. Overall, this is a product I highly recommend from a company I truly trust. -

I got this in August's mystery box from Julep. I don't know if I would have ordered it myself, as if I want something to lock down my brows I normally just use a dab of hairspray on my finger and run it over my brows. The first time I tried this...it was weird. I put too much own and it just felt wet and clumpy. But once I got the right amount out and learn how to use it a little better, I must say I really like it. My brows are pretty prominent and each hair is quite long, so I often have hairs not staying put, and this works really well to keep them in control. I've only tried it over brows that I've added a little powder to (just for a little bolder shape) so I can't wait to see how the brow gel looks over my regular brows. A neat product! -

Like all things Julep, the best option price wise is to use a discount code or to order it in your monthly subscription box. I actually got it in August's mystery box, which is probably the best deal but I didn't know it was going to be in there! It was a pleasant surprise! I'm always hesitant to use different oils because the nail just screams messy, plus I was unsure how an oil could be "dry" per say. However, I've tried this and found that I love it! The only other body oil I really like is vitamin E oil, but this is way less messy and smells even better. It's easy to apply, leaves my skin feeling soft, and has a very gentle scent that isn't too overwhelming. Another fantastic product from Julep! -

I really don't like this polish. I used it as a top coat (not base) and my nails chipped that day, and I did nothing all day. The second that I went to work, my nails chipped even more. I use Julep nail polish for colour, and normally that polish lasts a solid week. It definitely didn't last when I used this polish as a top coat. This was a waste of my money, in my opinion, and the only thing it did was make a matte polish have a shiny finish. Not worth it. -

I cannot begin to describe how much I love this book series, and I'm only one book in so far. This book is wonderful; it's got action, adventure, comedy, drama, romance, time travel, and the Scottish highlands. I am obsessed with cheesy Scottish romance novels, which is what I thought this was going to be, but no, it turns out this book is actually amazing with depth, great memorable characters, wonderful plot, and beautiful writing. I can see why they turned this series into a television show, and I can understand why this series has been popular for more than a decade. -

I got this album on Google Play for $0.99, which is amazing because this album is phenomenal! It's hard to believe that Elle King is Rob Schneider's daughter, let alone that he produced someone this talented. Her voice is unique, raw, and completely different that the watered-down bubblegum pop that's on the radio these days. Her songs are catchy but different, and she uses a banjo on a few of her tracks which produces a sound unlike your regular top 40. If you're looking for something a little different, with a lot of soul and passion, this is a great album. I highly recommend it. -

That being said, if it's on sale or I have a coupon, I won't hesitate to get this brand/flavour. I did get to try this for free with a coupon, which was an added little bonus. Overall a good product. -

I adore Julep products, so when I ordered this I was so impatient for it to show up at my door. It did not disappoint! I love this primer more than what I've been getting at the drugstore. It doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy or like my skin can't breathe. Not only that, but I've found that it is the best primer for making my pores look way smaller and gives my makeup a nice, smooth canvas for foundation, etc. The cost of this primer is a little bit more than a drugstore primer, especially because it's American and I have to pay a higher price in Canadian, but it is definitely worth it. If you are a Maven subscriber, you can get this for a cheaper price than non-registered members, and if you get a monthly subscription box, you can put this product in your monthly box with a few other things, and get the best value for your dollar. -

I shared the bag with my husband, but even then I'm sure it'd be great to share with an additional two people because there is a lot in the bag. It certainly is worth the value you're paying, especially if you can find them on sale or something. I love the little bites better than the actual bar, although I need a glass of milk with either choice because, like all candy bars, they are incredibly sweet. But these little bites have all the goodness of the original twix bars, only smaller! -

Renee's is a bit more expensive than other salad dressings, which is unfortunate because it tastes amazing and I'd love to get it all the time. However, we do get it on occasion as a nice treat. This was the first time I had ever gotten the Homestyle Ranch - Fresh Sour Cream & Chive flavoured dressing, and while I can say it was very delicious, I can't say that I could tell what difference the supposed "fresh sour cream and chives" did. It tasted like a regular ranch dressing to me, albeit a rather delicious one. All in all, Renee's knocks it out of the park with this one, though it is almost more tangy than other ranch dressings, making it the tiniest bit stronger than I'd prefer. -
