This is a delightful snack that's great to throw in your purse or in your kids' lunch bags. Tasty, yet nutritious! This is a very healthy alternative to granola bars, since this is made just with nuts and seeds, and has the yummy addition of dark chocolate for a little something extra. They are quite crumbly, which was a little unexpected, but I'll take a little bit of crumbs for the great flavour and protein content. Highly recommend, though they are more expensive than regular granola bars so having a coupon handy would be nice. I did get to try this for free with a coupon. -

I ADORE this flavour combo! Salted caramel anything is delicious, so to make it into a bar form that is somewhat healthy is just wonderful. Slightly higher on the calorie part, but it's all seeds and nuts so that makes sense. It's the good type of calories, with 4g of protein in a 25g crisp. The only thing I didn't expect from this was the texture. I thought it would be more formed and stuck together like a granola bar, or at least stuck together like a crisp, but one bite and the nuts and seeds sort of...crumbled. So it's a little messy, in a weird sort of unexpected way. But the flavours were great and the protein is perfect for a little healthier pick me up! Unfortunately priced a little bit higher than a traditional granola bar, though. I did have a coupon so I got to try this free. -

I have pretty bad bags under my eyes, especially in the morning, and do suffer from puffy eyes. I didn't have very high expectations going in to this, and I'm glad that was the case otherwise I would have be sorely disappointed. Wearing these pads was unpleasant enough. It almost felt like a very thick pore strip, except right under your eyes. They also suggest leaving it on for 30 minutes, but it was an unpleasant 30 minutes. For all of that unpleasantness, I thought it would at least make my face look a little different, but it didn't. My eyes were as puffy as before with all the bags from before. Literally nothing changed, except my under eye area is a little bit itchy now. Not worth it, not worth it by a long shot. -

For the better part of the summer my go-to Starbucks order was the peach green tea lemonade. When I saw they had a new tea lemonade out, I had to try it. I was skeptical at first because I'm not usually a fan of black teas (I find them too strong and overwhelming) but the flavour of this was really mellow. The black tea took a backseat to the yummy mango flavour, and the addition of the lemonade really brightens it up. I highly recommend it to people who are a fan of the peach green tea lemonade, or are just looking for something different than their regular order. Of course, the price is a bit absurd (4.25 for a venti), but that's what you expect when you go to Starbucks. -

Instagram is painfully addictive, but it's great because it's free and it quickly connects you to friends. Not only that, but it allows you to keep up with things you like, whether it's celebrities, hobbies, food, whatever your interests are. I like it because it's the best parts of facebook, without all of the annoying adds or posts about Minions. I am really into photography so this is the perfect app. -

I used this on a friend, rather than on my own hair, and I thought that this kit was extremely easy to use. I don't know if it would be quite as easy to use on yourself, because you have to keep the brush upright and bring it straight down your hair, and that might be difficult on the back. But using it on someone else it was rather easy. The brush has three prongs that you load the hair colour onto, then you run it down the length of the hair. You can leave it like that for chunkier highlights, but I found it was better to go over the strands a couple of times to more evenly spread the colour and have more subtle highlights. You can even use it more heavily on the ends to create an ombre effect. The product itself didn't have an overwhelming smell to it like some hair colours do, and it wasn't messy at all. It was less messy than regular hair colour, since you only apply it to the brush. The results were very lovely. You do have to make sure especially by the top of the head that you have even coverage, otherwise you risk it looking splotchy. If you have thick hair, do layers starting on the bottom layer and working your way up. Overall this was a very effective product that was very easy to use, at a really decent price. The only bad thing was they only had three shades of blonde (at least at my location), so if you want a colour other than blond to highlight you're somewhat out of luck. -

I got this when the store didn't have the shade I wanted in my regular powder, and I was pleasantly surprised. While I still prefer my regular CoverGirl pressed powder, this was a good substitution and did almost the same thing. The negative aspect of this was that it definitely looked like I had powder on; it didn't blend as well with my other face makeup. It took me a while to figure out how much to actually use without looking like I smacked myself with a giant face puff of powder. I still prefer CoverGirl pressed powder because they offer an oil control and a sensitive skin option, but this works well if you're in a pinch or are looking for a heavier powder look. -

There is a new trend called "baking" that I wanted to try because I have problems with under eye bags and my makeup creasing when I try to cover them. Essentially you pack on translucent powder and let it sit over your concealer on your face for ten minutes, the heat from your face melts the powder to your face, and it stops it from creasing, then you brush off the excess. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something I didn't even know if I'd like, so I picked NYC because it was cheap. I tried it this morning and was pleasantly surprised! The powder didn't irritate my skin, which a lot of cheap cosmetics do, and the "baking" technique worked as well. I didn't use this to replace my regular face powder, and only used it under my eyes/on my cheekbones. For such an inexpensive product, it's very effective and did exactly what I wanted it to do. The only downside is that the container gets quite messy and it's not a twist on lid, so I'm worried that one bump the wrong way will send powder everywhere. -

The only reason I got this was because they were sold out of my shade in the CoverGirl Clean oil control foundation. I was somewhat worried about getting something that wasn't oil control, but I do have sensitive skin which is why I picked this over the "normal" foundation. I'm actually quite pleased with the results. The coverage was a little bit different compared to the oil control foundation of the same line; I found I had to use a little bit more of this one to get the same coverage. However, it still goes on nicely, blends well, and doesn't feel cakey on the skin. The shade matched the shade of the same name in the oil control, so I didn't have to worry about having an unmatched head and body. The only problem I have about this is that I get the lightest shade, "ivory," and it's almost not light enough for my skin. It'd be nice if they made a shade or two lighter, because I know people with even paler skin than my own. But otherwise, this is a good replacement when they're sold out of the one I normally get. -

This primer had the weirdest texture I've ever had in a primer. It felt very greasy and was not a pleasant thing to put on my skin. I don't even know really how well it worked as a primer because I only used it a few times. I think I would rather spend less money on a primer that felt nicer on my skin, and worked a bit better. I use all of my primers under my foundation, although some primers say you can even use them on top of your finished make up. All in all, I would not repurchase this primer. -
