I received this to try for free from Chick Advisor, and I could not be even more in love! It came with the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep, which I love like no other, but I actually think I like this Life Serum more. The first thing I thought when I saw this was that it felt luxurious. From the packaging to the product itself, I really felt like I was getting a high quality product. The serum itself has a beautiful pearl shimmer to it and smells delicious. I use it in the morning before I put my make up on, and at night before I use Vichy's Skin Sleep. I've replaced my normal moisturizer with this because I think it works a lot better to keep my skin hydrated all day. I don't put any on my T-zone in the morning, though, because I find that my skin is just too oily in those areas that after 8 hours at work my nose is shiny if I do put it on. The other negative thing is the very steep price point. I love the product itself, but it's not budget friendly and that makes me sad. I wish this was a little bit more affordable, because I am so in love with the product! -

I received this to try from Chick Advisor. I was excited to try a new facial cream, but I wasn't sure how effective it would be. I have combination skin-- some parts very oily, others very dry-- and haven't really found anything that works that well for both types of skin on one face. I didn't notice a difference right away. It felt very cooling on my skin, smelled gorgeous, and the packaging was nice enough that I didn't mind leaving it out on my vanity. I would say that after about 3 nights of using this, I noticed the difference. My face looked brighter, not as dull as before, as if I'd been hugging water all day and was super hydrated. I would wake up with my skin feeling more fresh than normal in the dry spots. It didn't do anything to control the oily parts of my face, but the good thing was that it didn't ADD to the oiliness of my skin. Now that I've been using it for a bit, I can definitely tell the difference in the morning if I have or have not used Skin Sleep the night before. I think the one bad thing about this product is the regular retail price. While it is high quality and effective, I don't think that it is something I could justify putting into my very tight budget at this point in time. In the future, I sure hope so! I love it! -

I've been having trouble finding a pressed powder that is light enough for me, but the shade "ivory" is perfect for me. It is the lightest shade they make, so I don't know what people who are paler than me do, so perhaps they need to expand their line a bit, but it's great for me. I like having a powder available that's specially formulated for sensitive skin, and I love how smoothly this blends with Covergirl's oil control foundation. It doesn't look cakey or thick. I'm in love! -

I have weird combination skin, where my T-zone gets incredibly oily but my cheeks and jawline are often quite dry. I've been trying to find something that works with both areas of my face, and I've finally found it! I've worn this to work and afterwards my skin is considerably less oily looking than with comparative foundations. It's good for my sensitive skin, as well. My only critique is that while I am pale, I have a lot of friends who are much paler than me, and Covergirl's lightest shade, Ivory, is the one I need. Make a pastey white colour for my girls! -

This is a perfectly decent facial cleanser that I received a sample of through Ipsy monthly subscription bags. There is nothing in particular that I dislike about the product, but I don't think I'll be replacing my St. Ives Green Tea facial cleanser with this. It was pleasant and gentle on the skin, but was lacking a "wow" factor. -

The black is not as bold as a liquid liner, either, and I can't get it to do wings nicely. The only good thing this has going for it is that is long lasting and waterproof. -
I like this because it's very versatile. I think having to have a different lipliner for each shade of lipstick is stupid, so having one lip pencil that is invisible but effective is perfect. It goes on very smooth, has no weird smell or taste, and... +

My only problem with this was that I have other CC/BB hair creams that work better. I'd much rather use Pantene's perfect 10 BB hair cream stuff. -

I received this in an Ipsy monthly subscription bag, and despite them asking what skin tone I have, they sent me a shade way too dark for me. Either that, or this was the shade that was supposed to go with my skin tone, and it's just awful. It's way too dark, shimmery, and brown. I'm usually a fan of Pixi by Petra and like the quality of their products, but even if I had gotten this in the right shade, there was too much glimmer/shimmer in this for me to not look like a 12 year old experimenting with bronzer for the first time. -

I received a free sample of this from ChickAdvisor to review. Because I have fair skin, I started using this once a day instead of twice, as per the directions. The smell is not the most pleasant thing ever, but I can overlook that fact because the product itself was very effective. Faced with a fresh breakout, I used this all over my face but focused on my cheek/jawline and chin area. Within a few days I was already noticing how much my pimples had gone down in size and redness. I do think the one flaw with this product, aside from the smell, is the weird feeling of tightness I got on my face after I dried it off. I think it's the medicated ingredient that attacks that acne, which dries out your skin, which does it. I always make sure to use a moisturizer after using this acne cleanser to avoid that feeling of tightness. Overall, it worked well on my very sensitive skin and did not cause any irritation or reaction. -
