I'm a long time user of the regular Biore pore strips and I absolutely adore those. I got the charcoal strips as a free sample and was skeptical of the colour. When I used them, I did get black residue on my face and my fingers. The other thing I found with these was that they weren't as effective as the regular strips. There wasn't much stuff on the strips, meanwhile my pores looked pretty much the same as before I used the strips. I definitely wouldn't recommend these over the original. -

We got this one because it's up to 110 lbs, and our dog is 40-45 lbs but is very, very strong (Rotti/Shepherd). Usually she ends up breaking retractable leashes because she's so strong, but she hasn't broken this one yet. My biggest complaint about this product is the placement of the button the on handle to stop and/or lock the leash in place. I have fairly average sized hands for a woman, if not on the slightly bigger side, and yet my thumb barely touches the button. It's not the most comfortable fit when I'm walking her to try and press the button while holding the leash as I would normally. I couldn't imagine someone with small hands being about to use this product to the fullest extent. -

I was skeptical about how good a matte top coat would be, so I opted for a cheaper bottle. This was crazy cheap at Walmart (I don't think it was more than $2) so I knew if I didn't like it, I wouldn't be missing out or anything. I was so surprised how much I liked it! It works great over any nailpolishes, though I haven't tried it on glitter or other textured polishes. I'm not sure about how well it lasts, because lately I've been changing my nail colour after 3 days or so, because I get bored and have so many great colours in my collection. But this matte top coat works wonderfully appearance wise and won't cost you a pretty penny! -

This is a great product for when you're too lazy to make your own potato wedges, don't have the ingredients, or are short on time. They crisp up nicely and I love the seasoning on them. My one complaint would be that in order to make them crispy, sometimes the potato feels kind of dry on the inside, which isn't always the most pleasant texture. They're really nice with plum sauce, too. -

If you didn't have tater tots as a child, you were definitely missing out. I feel like the smiley fries, the spiral fries, and tater tots were like the holy trinity of potato products as a kid. If you haven't had tater tot casserole, there's another thing you're missing out on. They're a fun twist on hashbrowns and something different to have instead of boring old french fries. Tasti Taters are sure to bring smiles to the table! -

Another solid product from McCain that does not disappoint! It really brings back childhood memories of begging my parents to buy "curly fries" to have with my chicken nuggets or fish sticks. We didn't get them often, so they were always a big treat for us. They were delicious, but they were also really fun to play with. It was always fun to see how long the longest spiral fry was, and then devour it. -

I haven't always had the best experiences with dry shampoo, since I find that they tend to make my hair look dull and have a white powder residue. I find that with this, my hair still looks a little dull, but there isn't really a residue compared to other brands. I'm still not sure if I'm fully in love with dry shampoos, but in a pinch these are great, and I would definitely pick Batiste over other options on the shelf. I'm interested in trying some of their other ones to see how they compare to the original-- who knows, maybe I'll be a dry shampoo addict by the time I've tried them all! -

These were my absolutely favourite fries as a kid. Why have a boring old french fry when you can eat someone's face? Or smiley face. It's often hard to get young children to eat anything, so kudos to McCain to making a fun product that fills kids' tummies. I love most of McCain's products, but this one will always have a special place in my heart as a fun childhood memory. -

This book is absolutely wonderful and heartbreaking, but most importantly eye-opening. Remini has such an important story to tell, and it's frightening to me that all of the things she's written could happen to one person. It's shocking how restrictive the cult of Scientology is, and it scares me how strongly people believe in things, and how blindly they are willing to follow something that is destroying them and their families. It made me look at Remini in a whole new light, and I honestly could not put the book down. I just want to give her a hug and condemn all the people behind the evil that is this cult. Wonderful read, very inspirational. -
I loved this book as much as the movie, for many of the same reasons and a few different ones. The book itself is such an easy read. The main character really speaks to you, and dumbs down the science stuff but doesn't make you feel like an idiot... +
I loved this book as much as the movie, for many of the same reasons and a few different ones. The book itself is such an easy read. The main character really speaks to you, and dumbs down the science stuff but doesn't make you feel like an idiot. More importantly, Weir makes a really engaging character that grabs your attention and stops you from putting the book down. I also like how straight to the point Weir writes. He doesn't drag things out unnecessarily, which might seem difficult when writing about someone stranded on a planet, completely alone. This is a fantastic book, a great, humourous take on science fiction that almost sounds plausible. It's really easy to get lost in. Wonderful! -
