Hesitant to try it at first, I finally bit the bullet one day. After getting out of the shower and patting my face dry, I followed the instructions step-by-step. To my surprise, it really does "erase hair" and is as painless as advertised, leaving no irritation whatsoever. I'm not too sure whether it is considered a razor or epilator, but so far, I haven't noticed my hair growing in any thicker or faster than it originally was. The only downside is that I find it doesn't work too well on thicker, stubbier hair which I would typically pluck. Otherwise, I think this is a great product that lives up to it's claims and would recommend it.

During the summer, I typically would enjoy a caesar on a patio, but with this year's circumstances, it made things quite difficult. I've previously tried making caesars at home, but they were never as good as ones served in restaurants. Perhaps it was poor ratios or ingredients. Lately, I've resorted to the Mott's Clamato Extra Spicy Caesar sold in a can at LCBO which have been a great alternative. When trying Mott's Clamato Reserve, to be honest, I wasn't aware it already incorporated fire-roasted jalapeño puree as well as a spice blend. I followed a regular recipe for caesar, and boy did it have a kick. I learned my lesson the second time and added only 1-2 drops of hot sauce, and it was the perfect amount of heat, spice, and flavour. The drink alone (sans alcohol, hot sauce, worcestershire sauce) is full, rich, and so flavourful. It definitely tastes like it could be a drink served by a bartender. I think Mott's Clamato has continued to dominate the at-home caesars with this new product. If you're like me, and are missing summer patio weather with a caesar in hand, go out and grab this. You won't be disappointed. -

When testing this product, I used it after filling in my eyebrows to provide dimension to each brow hair. Similar to the very on-trend "soap brows", this product is suppose to hold hairs in place throughout the day. In my experience, the initial application was quite easy and dummy proof. The wand separated each brow hair and held it in place. It was a "flexible hold" if you were to compare it to hairsprays. Shortly after however, to my dismay I noticed that the hold was not strong enough; my brow hairs had fallen significantly back to their original state. By the end of the day after evaluating my brows even further, I noticed that my brow hairs appeared to have a white cast. I was so embarrassed to have walk around the office all day not realizing it. With these 2 faults, I really wouldn't recommend this product and think there are better alternatives, even if that means resorting to bar soap or hairspray. -

I never really enjoyed using lip glosses because of the "stickiness" associated with these products. I hate the feeling of your hair catching it, then product transferring onto your hair, etc. I'm sure other girls can relate. So, prior to trying this product, I was quite skeptical, but I'm glad to say that this is one of the better lip glosses I have tried. It is smooth and velvety, likely because of the seed oil that's infused. It is also very lightweight on your lips, rather than thick and tacky. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a lip-gloss, whether it's applied alone or on top of other lip products. I would also recommend still applying lip balms as per usual as this isn't suppose to act as a replacement (in the same way you would still use lip balm under MAC lip glosses or NYX lip glosses), this is simply clear. -

To preface, I really really wanted to like this line of products. I've been looking for more "natural" products lately, as I typically wear a fair bit of amount of makeup on a daily basis (foundation, eyebrows, contour, the works...). I should also mention that I have large pores and oily skin. So, while my hopes were high, the reality was that this product would likely never work for someone like me, even if the quality was there. Unfortunately, the first problem with this product was that it was a bottle full of glitter. I understand the idea that NYX aimed to achieve, but I don't think it was properly executed. Oily or not, this product is not refined enough like similar products by their competition: Glossier, etc. to achieve the glowy, sunkissed look. After the initial application dried down, I felt like a walking disco ball. It's hard to say whether there was "shimmer" shinning through my foundation, but what I can say is that my oil was definitely peaking through within the first 3-4 hours. Overall, this product didn't live up to my expectations unfortunately. You may have better luck with products from other companies to get that sunkissed glow. -

As a result, it is not drying on your lips like how matte lipsticks can be. Take it as you will, you will definitely notice that you will have something on your lips, which may or may not con to some. Lastly, if you do not like re-applying your lipstick, you may not like this product as it transfers quite easily.

This product lives up to the hype around NYX lip products. It is super-creamy, easy-to-apply, and long-lasting. It also layers under other lip products very well. During the application, it has a tingling feeling during the first couple minutes. I'm surprised that for a matte lipstick, it is so moisturizing. The colour I received would be great during the fall.

I have never tried a NYX mascara before, but I was excited to try this mascara as I'm familiar with their the quality of their products. I have short Asian lashes, so I'm typically looking for a mascara that will provide good lift, hold a curl, and lengthen. Unfortunately, unlike their their lip products which are one of the highest quality lip product lines in the drugstore, this mascara did not perform up to par.
The pros: this mascara is good at separating lashes and does not clump. After 2 coats, there is some volume.
The cons: this mascara does not lengthen well or hold a curl. After 4 hours, I found it had smudged on my lower lash line. I find it takes a lot of effort to make my lashes look presentable, whereas my typical mascara would cut that time in half. For the price, I think it is average, but there are other mascaras in the same price range that work better for my needs.

As I've grown older, I've found that I've become mildly more lactose intolerant. As such, I've cut down a big portion of my dairy intake, such as switching from milk to almond milk, limiting the amount of cheese and yogurt consumed. However, I have found little-to-no good substitutes for ice cream. After trying B&J;Non-Dairy, I was thoroughly surprised by how creamy, flavourful, and comparable to ice cream it resembled. I think the flavours are rich and a perfect combination. I'm interested and excited to see more flavours within this line.

I've tried my fair share of primers over the years, and as someone with large pores and oily skin, I wouldn't recommend this product unfortunately. Upon application, the product dried very quickly. The texture resembles somewhat of a lightweight lotion. My foundation applied smoothly over, but 4 hours after wear, it didn't hold up very well, albeit, it does not claim to be a mattifying primer. My final thoughts are, if you're looking for a natural primer and you have unproblematic skin that is dry or normal, this will work fine for you.
