SO I've tried a few products by philosophy and none of them have really excited me, however this facial cleanser I recently got in a beauty box is a seriously good. Now, I know we all probably have a gazillion cleansers and cleaners and toners and so on, but what sets this one apart for me is the fact that you can use it on your eyes! As someone who hates being oily I have ruled out most eye make-up removers altogether because they are all so damn oily, so I was quite keen to try this right away when it came in my beauty box. It actually works wonders as a face cleanser, and makes my skin feel SUPER clean and ready for a moisturiser, but the best part is that you can rub it on your eyes (no stinging!) and seriously like magic all of your make up disappears! I keep coming out of the shower expecting to have raccoon eyes, but they are sparkling clean and not oily at all! I don't know if anyone else hates eye make-up removal products, but if you do, you might want to try this product. The only faults I can give it is that there is no real scent (but that is probably why there is no stinging) and that the packaging is seriously boring, but those this might not be as important to someone else. As I said I normally find them a bit boring, but maybe sometimes boring is good when it comes to skin care. -

I never used finishing powder or setting powder or any kind of powders before so when it came in a recent beauty box, I was pretty meh about it, and didn't bother to try it. I eventually unboxed it and when I saw the silky shimmery powder, my magpie soul got a bit more interested. After using it for about a week now, it has become the best part of my make up routine- it makes me feel like I am actually make-upping 😂 Basically, I do my foundation, and then dip a kabuki brush in the mix and then powder it all over my face and I love that you can see the powder in the air whilst you are applying it, I feel a bit like a princess powdering my nose 👸🏼 I've noticed this powder combats redness on my skin, completely mattifies my look, absorbs oil throughout the day and actually makes my make up last longer. I seriously don't know why on earth I was not using finishing powder before, I've been converted! Another cool thing about this products (and this brand in general) is that it is made from all natural products, which is this case the the Kakadu plum, which apparently detoxifies, is anti-aging, and is packed with vitamin C, as well as Kaolin clay which soothes and absorbs the oil. All in all, great stuff, and I am definitely going to be purchasing more Nude by Nature products, I'm converted :) -

I just wanted to share my experience with using Benefits' It's Potent Eye Cream. Basically, I got the travel pack at an airport last September and I got five of the mini products for £20 in these ADORABLE blue mini glass pots and bottles. The eye cream lasted me about 6 months using it several times a week and when I ran out in March, I wasn't planning to replace it. Then, over the weeks, I started to look more and more tired and my dark circles started coming back. When I started thinking about why that could be the only thing I could think of was that I stopped using this product. I realised later when I went to repurchase that this product that it claims to fade dark circles, which it ABSOLUTELY does! When I look back at my photos over the past 6 months my circles had virtually disappeared 😱 That being said, I just wanted to show what a different this product can make in a mere 30 minutes, it is seriously awesome! Definitely a repurchase! -

First of, all, it came in such a nice little box, and then the highlighter itself came in kind of a little jewellery box, which was so adorable 😍 This highlighter doesn't go on as strong as others, which I kind of prefer because I find I often look like the blooming tin man off Wizard of Oz with some highlighters. It's not something I would use every day, but it is sooo fun to use, and I love just looking at it 😂 Also, with a bit of priming and layering, it would make a nice eyeshadow 👌🏻 -

I love the packaging of this palette, and the illustrations on the mirror were very helpful for applying the product correctly. The pots were also huge so I assume it would last a while.
Unfortunately, the colours in this palette are SO faint, the swatch on my arm was as dark I could get the colours - that was with several layers, primer and an eyeshadow brush! It seems like the palette had been pressed too hard because it was like trying to get blood from a stone trying to get colour out of it. The other blushers I use are by Tarte and Estee Lauder and the tiniest touch of either of these goes a long way so this was a bit of a shock.
I tried my Bare Minerals blush brush, contour brush and eyeshadow brush, and the only one that could pull out a substantial colour was the eyeshadow brush, so I would suggest to use a very thick eyeshadow brush to try and get the colours out.
I would only recommend this palette to someone with very fair skin, or someone looking for a subtle look. The look I made has several layers of the product, and it is still very subtle.

At first glance, the bottle seems tiny, however, upon checking it contains the same amount as my UD and Lancome foundations, however it is less than half the size, so goops for them for them for reducing packaging.
This is meant to me a serum foundation with light coverage, but it went on a lot heavier than that, and honestly I wouldn't dare go full strength I don't think! It goes on nicely, even though I thought it was a bit cakey at first, it ended up given me a bit of a dewey look. I've had it on for a few hours now and it hasn't oxidised really so that's a bonus too! Although the shade is probably darker than I'd usually choose for myself, it was actually a damn near perfect skin match Smiley Happy
Of course, the product is not perfect as I still feel it is a bit cakey when you look up close, and it might have slightly more coverage than I'd prefer, but seriously, this is probably the best foundation you'll find for £6.
