This is a regular visitor on our home, and for good reason. Everyone loves Diet Pepsi with lime. I like regular Pepsi (which feels very heavy) this is light, has no sugar, and tastes delicious. The hint of lime really elevated the sweet Pepsi taste, and makes it taste so, so good. I even squeeze real lime in mine, which you should try at home if you want to give it an extra kick of flavour! -

Their flavours haven’t been the same since they packed up and headed to Seattle. Apparently they still make their soda from Cane sugar, but recently I’ve seen they’ve started adding unnatural ingredients and even high fructose corn syrup (which they never used to do). This flavour is okay, nothing to write home about, but the price (and the lack of availability in most supermarkets) makes me think that buying Jones soda is no longer worth it. -

This is a great drink to have a few times a year. I usually put my Brisk drinks in the fridge, and then put them in the freezer for about 15-20 minutes before I am ready to drink it. The thing with iced tea is that if the drink isn’t iced cold, your drink will taste muddy with the tea and lemon flavours separating and leading to a muddy flavour. Instead, almost freeze your drinks (to nearly a slushy consistency) so the drink tastes the way it should: refreshing and light. -

I rreally appreciate it when companies put out new products. Sometimes you get bored of the same old, same old, and you want something different. I truly enjoyed all three flavours (although the peach one was my favourite), but oddly enough, I found the drinks to taste very artificial. Maybe it’s because I often add a squeeze of lemon to my juices and drinks regularly, but I have a strong sense of what lemon should taste like. With regular 7Up, I know the taste is artifice and accept it (probably because I grew up drinking it), but with this series, I bought one pack and never craved it again. Nobody else in my house did either, so I guess this drink line is destined to be a novelty drink. -

San Pellegrino’s Blood Orange is a delicious, tasty sparkling juice. Perfect for making cocktails and mock tails, or for serving unexpected guests. I’ve always found regular sparkling water to be too flavourless for my liking, but the blood orange flavour changes everything. I wish they would put more actual Blood Orange in it though.
When I read the ingredients, they say it’s made up of 16% orange juice and only 4% blood orange juice from concentrate. When I lived in Texas, they sold blood orange sparkling beverages with over 75% concentrate, so it does feel like they’re not going all out. But on the other hand, the juice already has 33g of sugar (way above the daily amount for most of us, and WAY more than a coke).
So remember to enjoy your San Pelligrino, but in moderation, if you want to keep your blood sugar low.
