This stuff is awesome!! I'm on my third pot now, its dirt cheap and amazingly good :) I love using this stuff as a lip buff as well as everyday balm. I would slather a thick layer on once a week and leave it for about 5-10 minutes, wipe it off and the use a towel softly buff away the dead skin; its amazing at melting it away and leaving your lips juicy :P and everyday balm its pretty good, much better than any of the other Blistex products in my opinion. As for packaging, the compactness is nice but it's crappy really.. I always have to poke it out with my nail (like scooping it but the other way) and well... I guess i just prefer my balm on the balls of my fingers; not a huge biggie. Definitely will repurchase! -

First thing I noticed is the colour suits so well on my light to medium cool/peach toned skin. I find it looks nicer during winter months when I am slightly lighter and more cool toned. The shimmer and blush base is delightfully finely milled, which on my face translates to a radiant glow. What it most reminds me of is the gentle flush you get when you've been exercising, it really looks like it's emanating from within your skin, not a product sitting on top of it. On my cheeks, it's a cool to neutral deep rose pink with fine gold shimmer, on my skin the gold translates and looks more to be radiating from my base skin tone than it does appear as sparkle as such. It's not in the slightest powdery, either in the pan or on the face, so you'll get a smooth application without looking at all chalky or caked on. There's absolutely no dust or disturbance to the product in the pan either, it's incredibly well pressed and product picks up easily with any fall out at all, not a speck. -

I really like this lotion- except when I have to go to work. It definitely does NOT sink in...as whenever I use this on a work day, I always come home sticky (I work in fast food), and this is not a regular occurence... If I use it on a day off or something though it's perfectly fine. I guess this is a good product in the sense that it makes my skin feel soft, but not so much in the sense that it is not actually sinking in or doing anything for my skin. -

I absolutely love this product, I have combination skin, can get pretty oily in the heat and I've been in a constant struggle with my skin for as long as I can remember. I have tried my fair share of skin cleansers from $5 to $30 and this one has helped my skin the most by far. A long time ago I picked it up on the shelf and I found it amazing, it's a gel consistency and I couldn't believe that it was actually doing anything but within days it helps my skin, it doesn't irritate or bother me in the slightest. the only thing I don't like about this is that it doesn't remove makeup but it isn't a makeup remover so who am I to complain? recently after getting pretty bad results from Clinique and Neostrata I picked this up again in my shower and within 4 days my skin has improved in my acne.
I don't have ridiculously bad acne but I do get some pimples and this helped them clear up completely in a matter of days. I'm extremely impressed and glad it'll help my bank because I won't need to be spending so much on cleansers anymore because I remembered that this works so well. eventually I hope this will help the texture and oilyness. I also use the matching moisturizer which is really nice, and matches this spectro jel really well, if you like this product you should like that one too.

I've tried so many different brands of eyeshadow I've lost count, and I always return to MAC. There are many reasons for this. First - quality! They are highly pigmented, show up true (with a primer) and will last all day long. Second, they have a great selection of colours to choose from and are always adding limited edition colours to the range so that even those of us who have been collecting for ages don't run out of new ones to try! They aren't super expensive considering the quality - particularly if you buy the refill pans and purchase the 15-pan palettes. (I de-pot most of mine anyway to make it easier to mix and match custom travelling palettes and to find the colour I'm looking for - another feature I love.) They last forever and are definitely worth the investment. They also don't irritate my sensitive eyes even if I wear them all day long.
And finally, I love that the brand is so established that many blogs and tutorials use the shades - this makes it really easy to re-create celebrity and tutorial looks with the exact same colours.
The only reason I docked a point for packaging is that if you do want to de-pot shadows it involves wire cutters, rubbing alcohol and lots of patience! I prefer the Makeup Forever packaging that allows the shadows to pop easily in and out of the individual containers and wish MAC would consider doing something similar. If you don't want to de-pot them, however, the individual containers are sturdy and look nice, they even have a window on the top so that you can easily see the colour.
Overall I highly recommend checking these out if you haven't already, you won't be disappointed!

When I first got my hands on this mascara, I though,"Finally! Longer lashes here I come!!" Unfortunately, that never happened. It was a really thin formula, and it ran like crazy!!!! I had raccoon eyes 10 minutes after applying it. Removing is another total different story. It took at least four cotton balls to remove every little bit of mascara. What was even worse, my lashes would come out, too. I had no idea how my mother could use this thing, but I absolutely HATED this mascara. In fact, I don't call it a mascara, not really sure what else to call it, but it's surely not "mascara". Even my BFF hates this. The formula would sometimes run into my eyes and it took even longer to apply it. My lashes were still the same length, the thickness never changed and it look super clumpy. So if you need a mascara really badly, don't pinch your pennies to buy this. It's a total regret and waste of money. -

I have a natural colored porcelain tile shower, that doesn't really show if it's clean or dirty. I sprayed the product on, waited a bit and wiped with a sponge. It didn't look like it did anything, but I guess that's because of the color of my tile, because when I rinsed it off with the hand held shower head, I could see the dirt rinsing off. I tried it on my glass door, and it rinsed crystal clear without any effort, and stayed clear without any water spots for a few days. Next I tried my black sink, that shows every spot. It always looks dirty if you just turn the water on it leaves spots. This product made it shiny clean, but best of all it seems to repel any soap or water spots, so my black sink finally looks clean all day. It's worth buying just for the sink and glass. This seems to be a great product, I will make sure I always have it on hand. It has a very nice smell, and believe me I can easily get an instant headache if a cleaning product is too strong or has the smell of bleach, which this product does not. -
