Dove Hydrating Body Wash with Aloe and Birch Water

When I received my bottle of Dove body wash, I’ll admit I had a low expectation that it would stand by its word. Most body washes I have used in the past never seem to do as advertised. I find that they never hydrate my skin like they say they do and, as I have very dry skin, I find myself disappointed over and over again. To my surprise, this one seemed different than everything else I have tried.
Firstly, as mentioned above, it actually hydrated my skin just right. Normally after using any body wash I find myself having to use lotion, which usually soaks in pretty quickly. You know that tight, dry feeling when you really need to lotion your hands or body? I didn’t have that this time. In the few times I have used this body wash since receiving it, it has continued to do as advertised. Way to go Dove! And thank you!
Secondly, when I first opened the bottle, I was pleasantly surprised to like the scent, aloe and birch. This scent didn’t smell as I thought it would (I thought it would have more of a masculine scent). It has a very pleasant and gentle aroma, and when used, while the scent lingers on my skin after I bathe, it’s not an overpowering perfumed scent like many I have used previous. This can easily be used and enjoyed by everyone without worrying about smelling too fruity or perfumed.
Thirdly, the consistency is just right, some I find are really thick and other too thin and you need to use lots to lather up your whole body. With Doves hydrating body wash, I found I didn’t have to use as much as I have to with my current body wash
Fourthly, it comes in a nice sized bottle! At 650ml, this is more than some bottles of shampoo and conditioner.
Overall, I’m definitely satisfied with Doves new Hydrating Aloe and Birch body wash and I will most certainly be purchasing it again in the future.

These candles are Wood Essence. They have an actually wood wick that crackles as it burns. It’s a, surprisingly, very relaxing sound. The scent of these candles is divine. The scent isn’t that “fake” kind of fragrance that other candles have. They have a very nice rush aroma that isn’t overpowering to the nose. I love to use these when I’m relaxing in the bath with the light off. Between the gentle cracking of the wick and the gentle fragrance, you can’t go wrong. The fact that these candles have a wood wick to them makes them very original, and with the wood wick making a cracking sound when lit it makes them one of a kind. I thought that the candle would burn away pretty quickly, seeing as it’s a wood wick, but they last a surprisingly long time. -

I discovered these completely by accident when I grabbed the wrong product that had similar packaging without realizing it until I got home (both packages were green and white). I like coconut, so instead of returning them I decided to give them a try. I opened up the package and though... these look kind of weird, but okay! Needless to say, once I tried them I obviously didn’t go back. They are now a staple in my house. They are an awesome snack, a little expensive for the amount you get, but not so pricy that it will deter me from buying them. I left a bag in my vehicle in the middle of winter and discovered these are even better cold. I like that these have all natural ingredients. They aren’t the healthiest of snacks so I do try to limit how much I eat, as I can easily eat the entire bag in one sitting. They are certainly healthier than a lot of my other snack choices though! -

Classico Alfredo & Roasted Garlic, you’ve surprised me. I’ve been on the hunt for an Alfredo sauce that actually tastes good. For years, I’ve disliked every Alfredo sauce out there, unless I’m eating it in a restaurant someone recommended the Classico Garlic Alfredo sauce, and I thought, why not... one more to try and dislike... Surprise! I actually enjoyed this one! It goes great with all types of pastas, and adding a bit of Cajun powder takes it to the next level it’s nice and thick and flavourful and the packaging makes it look like a top of the line product. The only thing I would change is having a larger size for family servings. I usually have to use 2-3 jars as I enjoy it nice and creamy as opposed to a small amount of sauce -

I grew up watching my mom using Vaseline lotion, so naturally, when I started to buy lotion it was the first one I purchased. I’m not one for fragrance In my beauty products, but the scent of the Intensive Care Aloe Vera lotion is subtle enough that I enjoy it. It doesn’t have the overpowering chemical type smell a lot of other lotions have. I use this all year round on my entire body. It feels great to put on after a nice hot shower! It doesn’t burn my skin when I get sunburnt (definite bonus!), and I tend to use this more frequently in the summer as I spend more time in the sun. It’s soothing when my skin becomes dry and itchy. I definitely recommend! -

These come in such a large array of sizes, colours and shades, so they are perfect for any occasion. High pony or low, these have you covered! I always have four or doze on my wrist as I always end up needing one throughout my day. My ‘bracelet’ ponytails have come to the rescue of many other women and men who find themselves without a hair tie when they need to pin their hair back. I have been buying these for years and will continue to purchase them. The only downside for me, as I have long and thick hair, I always have to use two at the same time to keep my hair up or they don’t hold, and I end up stretching them out fairly quickly. Overall, these are my most used hair product and I doubt I’ll ever not use them. -
