As someone with very oily skin, I'm always looking for a face mask that helps to control that oil. This mask does the trick! After washing it off, my skin felt smooth, soft, and oil free. It was not drying, but I could feel how my face felt clean and refreshed. During use I did not have any major pimples for it to help eliminate, but I can say that it did not cause any breakouts.
After application, I could feel the cooling sensation! It was really nice and did not feel uncomfortable. I love it when you can actually feel face masks working!
While I tried it on my whole face, I think you could definitely use it as a spot treatment on problem areas.
Overall, I really like this mask and I will continue to use it!

I have been testing out the Perfecting Primer for the past week or so, using a combination of different foundations in order to give you guys my honest opinion! This primer is silicone free, so you are not going to get that silicone-y feel with it. To be honest, I do prefer silicone primers. I have very oily skin, and half of the time foundation does not last very long on my face. Additionally, I also like the mattifying properties of them.
BUT for the purpose of this I had to ignore that and just go with it. This primer comes out looking like a moisturizer, and feeling like one too. It is not greasy, but it has almost a wet feel to it. It is lightweight, which is nice for the upcoming summer months! The first time I used this primer, I actually did not pair it with a foundation at all – I wanted to see how it performed on its own. I wore it to work with some eye makeup (and of course lipstick… who could forget lipstick?!), and within a few hours my face was like an oil slick. I’m not going to hold it against this primer because my face will do that pretty much no matter what I’m wearing it with.
The second time I tried this primer, I used it underneath a powder foundation – the Too Faced Cocoa Powder Foundation to be precise. Which I highly recommend, by the way. Not only does it smell AMAZING but it gives good coverage for a powder foundation, and it helps to keep oil a bay. Anyway, this combination was a no go for me as well. The foundation started to break up around my nose and mouth, and it was very noticeable.
The last attempt I made was with a combination of a stick and liquid foundation. I used the Sephora Collection Make No Mistake Stick Foundation and the Physicians Formula Healthy Foundation. This was the best combination that I found so far – but it still wasn’t life changing by any means. It lasted the longest (but still only a few hours), and then started to look like crap like the others.
All in all, this primer just isn’t for my skin type. If you have dry to normal skin, I feel like it’ll work better for you!

The very first thing that I noticed about this product is that it had tee tree oil in it. As someone who's hair tends to get oily very quickly, I was happy to see that was one of the main ingredients. Not only that, but it is definitely a large contributor to the fragrance of this shampoo. It is a nice neutral smell that isn't too feminine, so everyone can use it! It has a very earthy smell that is refreshing.
I have very long hair, and I was able to use a normal amount of this shampoo (depending on the length/thickness of your hair). It lathered up very nicely, and made my hair and scalp feel clean after rinsing it out. It was easy to rinse out, and did not leave behind any textures or residues.
I will continue to use this product, and I am hoping it will help in the warmer months to help combat my oily hair!
The only slight downfall is that at just under $9 is it a bit more expensive than the shampoo that I usually buy. But if it works in the long run, I will definitely continue to purchase it!

When I first saw this product I was very excited that it contained tee tree oil in it, as my hair tends to get oily quickly. This conditioner was able to make my hair feel smooth and soft without making it even more oily or drying it out. I had no issues rinsing it out, and it did not leave and reside behind or any weird feeling to my hair.
The tee tree oil is very prominent in the fragrance, but once you rinse it out of your hair it does not stick around for very long which is nice.
I did not have to use much of this product, so I feel like the bottle will last me a while!
Overall it's a nice product, the only slight downside being the price. At almost $9 Canadian, it is a little bit more expensive than my usual conditioners. But if it continues to keep my hair feeling clean and fresh, then that's definitely something to consider when I think about repurchasing or not.

When I first pick up body washes, the first thing I do is smell them. This body was is a mixture of tea tree oil and vetiver that gives off an earthy smell. If you are looking for something fruity or soft and feminine, this is not the fragrance for you. The tea tree oil really comes through in the fragrance, not that that's a bad thing. It's a refreshing scent that is revitalizing and more down to earth. It could be a nice fragrance for people who have sensitivities to perfume and other strong fragrances.
When I used it in the shower it lathered up nicely, and washed off easily. There was no residue on my skin and it left my skin feeling nice and clean. It did not dry out my skin either, which is a major plus!
I did try to use it as a bubble bath (as some body washes you can use as both), but for this one I wouldn't recommend it. The consistency of the body wash makes it thicker and it didn't produce many bubbles. Obviously this is not it's intended use, but I figure I would mention it.
Overall, it is a really nice product that leaves you feeling fresh and clean!

At first I didn't think I would be very impressed with my MAC blush (In the shade Mocha). When I first swatched it, the product wasn't as silky and smooth as I thought it would be, and I didn't think it would have a lot of coverage. I definitely was wrong - when I applied it there was so much pigment (so use a light hand) and it went on so smoothly! It blends very nice as well so if you apply too much like me it's not a big deal. -

I like the idea that this product can be used on your cheeks or lips, but unfortunately I would only recommend it as a blush. On the lips the product is a little oily and moves around too much. But if you use it as blush I think it works really well. It is a great value for someone who doesn't use/buy a lot of blush, because they can get 6 different shades in one palette. I personally dab a beauty blender into the pan and then use that to blend it onto my cheeks. It blends out very nicely and stays on all day! It can be built up for a strong pop of colour, or you can only use a bit for sheer coverage. -

In theory, the Physicians Formula Bronze Trio is a good idea. One swipe and you are bronzed, contoured, and highlighted. In reality it doesn't blend out very well and the product is not the best size. The formula feels kind of heavy and greasy on the skin, and it is slightly difficult to blend out. If you want to cream contour, there are definitely better products out there for less money. -

I love how versatile this palette is! For someone with pale skin, I use the middle shade as a highlighter and the first shade as a bronzer. I don't really use the last shade, but it could work as a really nice eyeshadow! What's great is that someone who has a darker skin tone can use it as well because they can use the darker shades as a highlight or an eyeshadow as well. While the colours are pigmented, some setting spray can be added to make them even more noticeable! All the shades blend out really well and stay on all day. -
