This has been great! I tested it for about a week on myself, then once I knew it was safe, I started using this on the kids too. We use this after we go swimming. The chlorine just sucks our skins dry, even while swimming in the water. I had originally picked these up because I thought it might help, as it would be a quick after pool solution. It was meant as something to sort of hold us off until we get back home, but this stuff works so good, I often don’t feel the need to put anything on us again, until later on in the night, before bed. These are easy to use, I can just spray each leg and arm, they can rub it in, then I just spray some in my hand, rub together with my other hand, and then apply to their face. They do their belly, I do their backs. Takes maybe 6 minutes to do all 3 kids. The Scent is very light, not outrageous, so the boys don’t mind it. They aren’t smelling like a flower bush. -

This is chocolate, so you can’t expect it to be all that great for a diet. I knew this going in. I am not a huge chocolate fan to begin with, preferring very dark chocolate and the real white chocolate. I only have one square last week, and one this week. I also split some up for the kids to enjoy.
I have to say, I like this, it has just the right amount of dark to the milk, so I can still taste more of the actual cocoa. The lemon flavour is great, it is very flavourful in the chocolate. The chocolate breaks nicely, and has a very satisfying sound. It also crunches nicely in your mouth. If you choose to just suck on it, it doesn’t instantly melt, but gently dissipates on your tongue.
It is also Organic, Fair Trade, Soy Free, Gluten Free and Kosher.

This was the kit I did, not as red as I usually go, I normally get like semi permanent colour for halloween costumes and such. When I do get the semi permanent, I usually get it in a mousse style, so was happy to find a kit that was permanent, but was a mousse too. It really was only one extra step, as the semi permanent normally has an aerosol can, and this permanent one you had to mix the colour into the mousse container.
Once I chopped the 2 feet of hair off, it was like 10 minutes to colour. So nice and easy. I was wearing a towel to protect my neck and back, but the clip popped off. I was worried it would be hard to get all my mess off, but it came off in the same amount of time it took me for my hair to run clear in the shower.
I have always been good with Garnier products, so it was a safe bet I wasn’t going to react badly on my scalp with this one. I had no burning at all, and only slight nose irritation.
The dye didn’t go as red as it should have, especially since my hair was lighter than the kit required. It is meant for Brunettes going red, not blondes going red, but I took that risk. The end result was great.

This is a classic cream dye, which I have used in the past, same company, different shades.
Easy instructions, applies well.
After having used the Garnier Mousse, I have to say I like it more than this one, the cream. The mousse applies much easier.
I was actually surprised that with the amount of hair I have(I just cut off 2 feet, and got an undercut), that I was having issues getting it evenly coloured with only one box.
I would recommend this for beginners, if you have long hair, you might want two boxes.
You hair will turn out pretty much like the colour shown in the swatches on the back, if you match up your hair well. It gets sort of iffy if you are putting the colour on already dyed hair.

They really liked these creamy ones. The kitten normally abandons hers after only a 1/4 eaten, but she ate this one until it was half gone. It has nothing to do with the products, and more with the fact she is little, so her tummy is small.

He is a puppy, only just hit a year old, so his teeth are in decent shape. They looked clean and healthy after he ate it. If anything, he enjoys them. -

I buy soy milk for the kids, due to their lactose intolerance. Growing up on cows milk, and liking the higher percents(I typically use 2% for like cereal and stuff), I could never get over the taste of soy milk, even if it was flavoured. We have tried some of the other milk alternatives, trying to find something to work for the full family. We had tried almond milk in the past, and I did like it, but it was so thin. I didn’t really enjoy it in cooking nor with my cereal.
This does seem thicker, I do like it more than the ones we have tried in the past. I actually haven’t tested it with cereal yet(I just haven’t bought myself any, haha), but I have had a few glasses and can stand to drink it on its own.
I actually have been combining this with cottage cheese, in my smoothies. My smoothie maker needs a bit of a liquid to help keep things processing, and I usually use apple juice, orange juice or a bit of water. I started to substitute in this, and like the results.
The man even likes this one, so that is a bonus!
A good alternative for cows milk, even if you can handle the lactose.

This is one I tried myself, as the rest of the family is lactose intolerant. I am not a fan of cottage cheese, and there are very few recipes I use to make that would require it. My sister can eat it on its own, just covered in ground pepper, which I think is super gross. Why would I try this? Well I had issues with protein during all my pregnancies, it was one of those things my body just didn’t want me to have, though I needed it. I became really aware of my protein intake, and it sort of crossed over to the kids as they grew, as well as just continuing to watch it in my own eating habits.
I saw that cottage cheese could be used in shakes, which is something I have been making more often, due to not wanting to waste food. Whenever a fruit item, or the last of the shredded carrots, doesn’t seem like it will be eaten, and I don’t want to throw it out, I have gotten into the habit of freezing it. I use these to make my smoothies. The kids really like smoothies, and I can hide stuff in there. While I wouldn’t give a smoothie with this in it for them, due to it being a cows milk product, I thought, why can’t I hide it in my own, will it really taste that bad?
So I have been trying it, substituting the yogurt I normally use, for the cottage cheese. I don’t actually notice the taste, I do find that it does make them a bit thicker, so I have been adding a bit of other liquids as well.
1/2 cup of this Cottage Cheese equals to a half a chicken breast(I always measure my protein amounts in chicken breasts, as it is something the whole family actually eats), which is 15g of protein.
I think I will keep buying this for that added benefit to my diet. The smooth version also reminds me more of Sour Cream, which makes it easier for me to handle, texture wise.

The kids loved them and wanted more. I really enjoyed them too. I look forward to seeing what other flavours they have in the lineup. The one we tried was the Strawberry.
They have the same great taste as their other Fruit Snack lineup, what you’d expect from Welch’s. The yogurt part is nice and creamy, it is solid at first, then melts in your mouth. These aren’t messy. which I like, making it something that can easily be shared.

We get the Cheddar the most, so I figured they would be able to tell which was which for this trial. I set out some containers, and had them try from each. They couldn’t tell a difference between the taste, the only thing they had to note was one was more crunchy. That turned out to be the Organic ones.
They really do taste just the same, so I have to say good job on that.
The only downside for me was the resealable top. No one in our family could actually get this to work. I think it might just be a default in my own package, and not anything to do with the product on whole.
