I usually buy Kicking Horse dark roast; either Kick-Ass or Grizzly claw and buy it when on sale. The price has been creeping up $1 at a time, so what was available on sale for $10 a lb is now on sale at its lowest for $12 a pound.
I noticed Presidents Choice gourmet dark roast on sale for $12 for 2 pounds, so at half the price I thought to try it.
Being pleasantly surprised (to say the least) I’ve decided to buy PC dark roast beans from now on. It’s hard to argue with paying half the price for coffee that tastes every bit as good as my regular choice.
I like to grind my own beans and usually make pour-over coffee, though sometimes I’ll use an auto-drip machine.
I’m pretty fussy about coffee and this is a great deal for a great tasting brand.    -
