Congratulations must be given to MR Theodor Tobler and MR Emil Baumann who in 1907 in Bern, Switzerland created the marvelous Toblerone bar that we still enjoy today. Although created in 1907 it didn't hit the shelves and become available to the public until one year later. The triangular shaped chunks are designed to represent the Matterhorn in the Swiss Alps and are instantly recognizable when spotted on a sweet shelf in any store. The name which suits it so well comes from a combination of Theodor Tobler's sir name and the word torrone which is Italian for a kind of nougat.
I love history and finding out how such wonderful products came to life. This product is very delicious and oh so satisfying, also very addictive.

When LUSH co-founder and Bath Bomb inventor Mo first dropped one of these in a tub to show everyone her latest invention, she asked if there were enough petals.
