I received this soap to review as a participant of the Product Review Club. I love Dove products and I was not disappointed at all with this product. First of all, I love the scent, so refreshing to smell first thing in the morning. Secondly, the soap leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized without leaving soap residues that makes my skin feel icky and gross. Finally, this little bar of soap lasts a long time and the scent remains as soft and refreshing as the day I opened the package.
This product has met all my expectations for a bar of soap. I will definitely buy this again and I highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in trying soap bars instead of using bodywash.

Every winter, I have terribly cracked heels. My socks stick to my feet. My feet feel like sandpaper. No amount or type of moisturizer could fix this problem.
Then, I discovered All Heal Salve by Matter Company, their Outdoor line of skincare. I rub this salve on my heels (and any other dry spots on my body) after my shower and I put my socks on immediately. I only need 1 application in the morning and my heels stay soft throughout the day. It only took 2-3 days for me to notice a huge difference in my heels. I couldn't believe how wonderful this salve is. The salve seemed expensive at first, $18 for such a small tub but a little bit will go a long way. I have been using it for 2 months now and I only made a small small dent in the center.
This is a Canadian company born in Toronto, ON. They use all natural ingredients which is great for people who are conscious about chemicals in their skincare products. Also, this salve isn't just for the heels: you can use it for cuts and scrapes, soothes irritated skins, even great for doggie paws!!
I will be honest with you and tell you that I even dabbed this salve on a pimple. I rarely get pimples anymore but when I do get one, it's usually pretty nasty. After a few days of the pimple showing no signs of slowing down, I put some of this salve on it and the pimple stopped growing. I applied the salve, just a very small amount, twice a day and the pimple stopped feeling sore and began to shrink. I can't be sure that it was the salve that did the trick but I'm definitely trying this again next time. I believe the healing elements in this salve really saved the day!!
I love Matter Company products. I have used products from their Mom&Baby;line and I loved everything I tried. The only thing I'd caution you is that their scents are quite strong. I personally love their scented products but I can also see other people finding it too overpowering. So give their products a good sniff before buying it!!

I have the original Ergo Baby with green lining. I absolutely love this baby carrier and it's my all time favourite. I have tried many different carriers and I found this one to be the most comfortable. It has thick shoulder padding, adjustable shoulder clips and a wide waist band to distribute the weight evenly. I have a lot of back problems and this is the only carrier I can use with my kids for extended length of time. Not to mention this is very easy to use if you are carrying the baby in front. I needed a little help with the backcarry but once the baby is on, the weight feels like nothing on my back. I have not tried the hip carry feature with the Ergo.
My husband also uses this one and he likes to carry the kids on the back. The kids also love being in the Ergo and there is never any complaints when they are being carried around.
The Ergo also comes with a storage bag that is large enough that you can easily fold the Ergo back into the pouch.
In addition, I bought a pair of sucking pads for the shoulder straps which was great when the kids were teething and drooling. :)
A couple of my friends also bought the Ergo and the consensus are the same all around: the Ergo is the best!
If you are going to spend the money on a good baby carrier, I'd highly recommend the Ergo!!

I have a bunch of different baby carriers and I have 2 favourites: Moby Baby Wrap is one of them. :D
Price: It's pretty expensive in my opinion but I find all high-end baby carriers are. So compared to some carriers out there, this is average.
Quality: Although this is made of stretchy material, the fabric still feels strong enough to support the weight of the baby. My kids were also wrapped in front of me, nice and snug. I never worried about them falling out as I moved around the house, doing different things.
Look: I bought the one that has a silk panel in the front and it's beautiful. I love it and I always get compliments on it.
Functionality: I save this one for last because I believe this is what makes/breaks this baby carrier. I'll be honest, when I first got this, I couldn't figure out how to use it and my son always felt way too loose in the wrap. Finally, I took a baby carrying class and the instructor showed me how to use it properly and since then, I never looked back. I carried my son in it until he was about 18lbs, when he was too heavy and the stretchy fabric was not strong enough to hold him anymore. Once I learned how to use it, I had a great experience with it, my son was a lot more comfortable and he really enjoyed it (whereas before, he squirmed and he wiggled a lot).
This baby wrap does require time to practice and you really believe you need someone to show you how to use it properly with your baby. Watching their video and reading the manual doesn't help. I must admit, I have only tried front carrying but not any other style, mainly because I didn't have time to go back to the store to learn another method and I couldn't learn on my own using the instructional material.
Overall, I love this wrap because it's comfortable and my baby loved it. But I don't recommend it to anyone who can't find help to learn how to use it because you'll get frustrated and that is the last thing you need as a mom with a newborn baby!

I usually use pantyliners and I was expecting pantyliners. You can imagine my surprise when I opened up the packet and found a heavy-flow menstrual pad type of thing. I can't remember the last time I used the traditional mattress-thick menstrual pads . So you can understand why I was totally repulsed by it. But I told myself that I'll try it for at least a few hours. If I don't like it, I don't like it. No harm done.
As soon as I got the pad on, I thought, "Wow! This is awesome! I don't feel a thing!!!" And all day long, it felt invisible, like I wasn't wearing anything but underwear. I can even say it's more comfortable than my regular pantyliners!! More comfortable than my ultra-thin pads.
I really like this. The only reason it didn't get full marks is the price. This is certainly much more than I normally pay for pantyliners and pads. So $25 for this package isn't great price but for the quality, it might be worth it!

I love products from Matter. They use natural ingredients extracted from plants that are very gentle on your skin. Their products are scented using blends of essential oils. I used their Belly Jelly throughout my pregnancy. Now, I use the Blush body butter everyday!!
Blush body butter is a very rich moisturizer that is great for the dry winter months. I also use it daily on my hands because I frequently wash my hands at work and my skin is very dry. My heels also crack in the summer and I often apply this on my heels, knees and elbows immediately after my shower to lock in the moisture. The nicest thing about this body butter is that it smells so great. I can't tell you enough how much I Love This body butter.
During my pregnancy, I went through 2 tubs of Belly Jelly. And I am going through the Blush body butter just as fast. $19 seems like a lot to spend on a moisturizer but in my opinion, it's worth every penny. Because this butter is like an emulsifier, a little blob of it goes a long way. Simply warm up the blob of butter in the palm of your hands, let it melt and then apply.

I like this sunscreen because it's made of natural organic ingredients and does not contain harmful chemicals often found in the cheaper, non-organic sunscreens. It has SPF40 and it blocks out both UVA and UVB rays. It is scented with lavender oil that smells really nice plus it helps to keep bugs away. The best thing about this sunscreen is that it works immediately upon application and you do not need to wait 30 min for it to become effective.
What I don't like about this sunscreen is that it leaves a white film on your skin. This is a big problem with young kids because they never sit still long enough for you to smooth out the cream evenly and this sunscreen leaves little white blotches on their skin. Also, this cream is pretty thick and that makes smoothing out the cream on a toddler pretty difficult. Finally, this sunscreen is in a bottle, rather than a squeeze tube like most other sunscreens; with the thickness of the cream and the firm plastic, it is very hard to get the sunscreen out when you get through about 1/2 -3/4 of the bottle. Essentially, you waste a lot towards the end.

I have tried several organic sunscreens for my kids and Green Beaver is, by far, my favourite. Like other organic sunscreens, this Green Beaver is made with natural ingredients without harmful chemicals that can absorb through your skin. It is also unscented for people who are sensitive to fragrance but it doesn't have that yucky smell that often comes with "unscented" products.
Although this is not marketed as a children sunscreen, I have compared the ingredient list and it is the same as their children version. The only difference is that the children one is made for easy application, so that it slides on the skin quick and smooth. However, I use this one on my toddler and he often runs away before I have a chance to smooth out the sunscreen. I found this sunscreen applies very easily and does not leave any white residues, like some of the other sunscreens I've tried.
My only complaint about this sunscreen is that it's $20, which is twice the cost of a drugstore brand. However, since $20 is average price for organic sunscreen, I am willing to pay the extra for my children to ensure the product I lather all over their skin is fairly safe.

I love these little swim diapers. They are really cute and very functional. They keep the poo in really well and it's easy to pull off without getting the poo everywhere. I have always thought that they are expensive because I didn't know you can dry them and reuse them!! What a great tip!!
I normally use cloth swimmers for my kids because I thought it's cheaper (since I didn't know you can reuse these Huggies ones). However, I always have a pack of these Huggies swimmers when I have birthday parties because sometimes the parents may have forgotten to bring swimmers for the children and I can just give them one of these!!
These are also great for traveling. One time use, no mess, no headache! :)

I received this dual scent from the Product Review Club. To be honest, I am not a fan.
For me, the air freshener has to smell good and it cannot be overpowering. I found this lavendar/vanilla combo failed for both criteria. I didn't like the scent and it was definitely way too strong. I found the scent too much even when it is in the livingroom/diningroom area on the low setting. I much prefer the Morning Walk/Cleansing Rain which I found to be light and refreshing.
I am impressed by the design of this Febreeze Noticeables. First of all, I like the rotating plug-in unit that allows you to plug the unit in in two different ways, very handy!! Secondly, it's great that you can adjust the level of freshness from high to low. I have mine set on low for the hallway and the scent level is perfect. Thirdly, the refill unit can be inserted/removed easily. Finally, I like the little lights which indicate the scent that's being released. Not that I care which scent is released at any particular time; however, I like how the little light illuminates my hallway in the middle of the night so that I'm not walking in total darkness. The light isn't super-bright but it's good enough when you wake up in the middle of the night and your eyes are already adjusted to the dark.
I have 2 complaints about this product:
1. I would never plug this in a bedroom or a bathroom where the area is smaller and more enclosed because the scent is too strong.
2. I wish this is made with more natural fragrances. As much as I like the scents, I am still a bit weary of breathing this stuff in day after day, especially with kids around.
Perhaps this is not a fair review because I really didn't like the scent. However, I would definitely recommend Febreze Noticeables to anyone who wants to buy a new air freshener. You need to find a scent you like and you are golden!
I don't think it has a good lust factor for me because I don't like the smell. It also lost a star due to complaint #2 (see above). As for the staying power, there are so many different air freshener on the market with some that are definitely more attractive looking. I think it's only a matter of time that this will be replaced with something better and nicer. I also gave the price an average rating because this product (and its refills) isn't expensive compared to other fancy air fresheners but it's not cheap either.
