Up until I received Garnier's Argan & Camellia Shampoo bar to try, I didn't know it existed, but after using it for week I'm sold. I love this product. First off, the reduction in plastic is perfect, the little cardboard box the bar comes in is easily recycled or you can put it in your drawers as potpourri because the actual box smells amazing too. The shampoo bar looks a little small and slightly unimpressive when you first take it out of the box, but it smells fabulous and really works. The shape of it fits your hand for easy use in the shower and you don't need a lot of the bar shampoo to get a nice lather, and yes the bar lathers as well as bottled shampoo! The shampoo leaves your hair feeling soft and clean. While there a few changes you'll need to make as you transition to bar shampoo, like leaving the bar somewhere in the shower where it stays fairly dry, the reduction in packaging is worth it. It will also be way easier to travel with then with liquid shampoo. I highly recommend this! #gotitfree -

The idea of reducing packaging is great, however you need something that works well for people to buy it too. I'm hopeful that Dove Men will continue to work on the packaging issues of this product so that it is more functional. As currently designed the deodorant stick breaks off the base too easily because there is no support for it. While remembering to be gentle and applying it straight up-and-down seems easy enough you only need one rushed morning to forget and have a broken stick that really can't be used. The product is much too expensive for that. The product itself is great, and what I'd expect from Dove Men. The Clean Touch scent is not overpowering and the product provides day long protection with no aluminum. The stainless steel case is sturdy and feels comfortable when you're using it; however the lid won't stay on, it keeps popping up. It is a great start in the effort to reduce. -

I love the concept of this product, a reusable deodorant case made of stainless steel, to reduce packaging and environmental impact. And while I love the concept and will continue to use, there are some growing pains in the design that need to be worked out. First you will need to change 'how' you apply the deodorant, there is no support structure for the stick, so it is super easy to break it off. You need to be very conscious of applying it straight up and down, with no sideways pressure to avoid breakage. Then, because you need to be careful not to break it, it comes in a smaller size than normal deodorants, so it is expensive. There is also some confusion if the plastic encasing the deodorant stick is recyclable (no symbol visible on plastic packaging, but outer box says it is) and the outside lid of the stainless steel will not stay closed, it slowly pops open every time, making travel difficult. The deodorant itself is nice, I really like the mild coconut and pink jasmine scent and I'm happy for a product that contains no aluminum. The deodorant also has glycerin in it to help moisturize, which it does, but it also leaves a slightly 'tacky' sensation. Ultimately, I will continue to purchase and use the product, when I have a coupon or it is on sale, because I think we need to cut down on packaging. However, I really hope Dove continues to develop and improve the product so that the cost and functionality is similar to traditionally sold deodorants. -

The purgrains package cooks quickly in the microwave, so it is a timesaver on those nights you are rushing. That being said, there isn't a lot of food in the packet. You could reasonably eat the entire packet for a work lunch or it might work as a side for two people for dinner. You would definitely need more than one packet for a family, which makes it a bit expensive. I also found the product a little dry and wished it had more moisture. I liked the addition of the ancient grains, like quinoa though. Depending on a sale price, I would buy this again. -

The battle arena comes with one Bakugan, one character card, two hexagon cards, and one magnetic action card, plus the four plastic quadrants that form the arena. That is it, you can't even play a game with what you get unless you have several extra bakugan's, so from a parent's point of view it is not worth the money or the child's disappointment when they realize they can't play. Then there is a complete lack of useful instructions about how to play (thankfully the internet is slightly more helpful). The little Bakugan dragon is kind of neat looking, but it is super challenging to roll back into a ball. As an adult it took me 4 to 5 trys, my six year old couldn't manage it.
If you were already a hardcore Bakugan gamer you might be pleased with this product, but for children, ease if use, and price find another toy.

The kit comes with four packages of coloured sand, white, purple, pink and real...all prime unicorn colours. There are several stamps and molds that kids can use to create a magical scenerio. I like Kinetic sand in general because it allows my kids room to create and because it is easy. It is easy to play and build and it is easy to clean-up. Since you can re-use the sand it provides hours of fun. -
