My parents were vegetarian and my dad would make these on weekends. No matter how much ketchup I put on it, it doesn't camouflage the smell or taste. When I got older I put onions, relish, mustard and ketchup to get rid of the smell/taste, and asked that they be cut in half and grilled to a crisp. If you are forced to eat these, find toppings that can mute the taste and smell; and grill them till crispy in oil. Smells like rubber fumes. -
