I bought this because I did not want to pay too much (like the $50 something ones from Laura Mercier), but also did not want to pay too little. I decided Sephora was cheaper, but a reliable brand. I tried it before purchasing of course, and I really liked how it had a really moisturizing texture! It went on easily and it was absorbed easily into my skin. However, I feel like it does not provide coverage at all. My skin has some blemishes from previous acne breakouts (minor ones) and I would like to cover those up, as well as dark eye circles. However, I feel like the tinted moisturizer didn't cover them, so I had to use a concealer. I like a tinted moisturizer where I do not need to use concealer and provides higher coverage, so I took some stars off. Also it was only average with oil control. I would not repurchase as I have now found a better alternative (Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer - travel size for only $23!). -

It was my first time going to this place, and also my first time getting a microdermabrasion. I got this for $49 (from groupon deal) and it included makeup application, microdermabrasion, and a serum to bring home. The person who served me was really nice, and took a lot of time to explain to me about different treatments, and analyzing my skin (from pointing things out, to magnifying, etc). The atmosphere was good even though it was pretty busy (at the Eaton Center location). The package is normally $225! I'm not sure if I'll pay full price for it, as I feel that the microderm treatment did nothing much to my skin. It did make a big difference on my friend who came with me, as I could immediately see that her skin brightened up. The serum was pretty big - good deal. However, the only thing I did not like was the person kept on trying to push me to joining their membership program, as well as upgrading my treatment (meaning paying extra). It felt awkward to say no, but she did not push too hard, so it was alright. I probably would not go again because of the high price. -

BEST powder brush I have ever used! And I have used high end brands (sephora, Bare Escentuals) and drugstore brands (Quo). I have also used sponges, but hands down this is the best. It's SO soft on my face, and so dense! It's good for stippling, or just buffing down powder, blush, and foundation. Also it works well if all formulae... such as powder, liquid, or creams! My face looks flawless when I use this :)
I got this for only $1.50 when the site had a 50% off sale (which comes pretty often!)

But I saw this at Dollarama and decided to give it another try. And it was so different! The hairs were smooth...not more scratchiness! Definitely pick it up first and inspect every brush til you find one that you are satisified with.
It blends really well, and super cheap as well!

I picked this up in Natural Nymph, which is a nice nude pink-ish orange shade. I love my nude lipsticks, so when I saw this, I just had to pick it up! It has a very nice creamy texture, goes on smoothly. However I find that it does settle into fine lines a bit so I find it better if I smudge it out a bit with my finger. The color is true to the color in the tube! It's very nude. With the awesome price tag of $2.50 (I got it during a 50% off sale..which comes very often!), everyone should try it. -
