I like this cleanser as it does not irritate my skin, which is dry, reactive and hard to please.
However, it's awful at cleaning off sunscreen and makeup. I don't wear foundation, only sunscreen, concealer and a little bit of blush. After cleansing twice I went over my eyes with an almond oil soaked cotton ball and yellow stuff (my sunscreen is tinted yellow) was still coming off.
Cetaphil does keep my skin moist and calm. I guess I will have to find a way to get the sunscreen & such off first, but not with oil. After the almond oil and cotton ball, I washed again with cetaphil...and the almond oil was still on my skin. So conflicted :( I just bought a HUGE bottle of it, and I am worried that I will waste it.
Still...I recommend it because it is non irritating and has improved the sensitivity of my skin as it does not compromise the lipid barrier of my skin...but then again I have developed itchy dry eyebrows...so I don't know if I will buy it again.

I found this hydrating mist at the local health food store. It hasn't caused me any reaction, brightened my skin(I am on my third bottle) and actually does moisturize my skin. I am glad I found it, but it's pricey for the amount you get.

I am a late thirties lady with unbalanced, dehydrated skin. I am often too rough and/or ignorant when it comes to cleansing my new skin. Yes, my new skin. Throughout my life, Ive had easy to care for, relatively resistant and oily skin. Since my early 30's things began to change and my skin has become dry/combo and sensitive. I have been increasingly interested in cream cleansers, and I have tried all the popular ones. I've had mixed if not unsatisfactory results.
I have been experiencing very dehydrated skin. VERY dehydrated. I have an autoimmune disorder and that has lead to some unbalances in my system-especially hormones- and I have been driving myself over the wall trying to figure out how to cleanse.
I have had a tub of Pond's around for the longest time. I know, I shouldn't be using 2 yr old cold cream that has been open and dug into...but my skin was seriously dry and pissed off. Nothing was working. Not even Cetaphil. In desperation I scooped out a generous amount of Pond's and slathered it on. I waited about 10 minutes and wiped it off with a warm cloth. My skin was NOT greasy, not irritated and it was actually still very thirsty. I am amazed at how calm my skin looks after using it this morning. I hate the scent though and the formula is problematic. I don't expect this to last. Will update.
~Update~This is too scented dor me. It makes my eyes water when using it.

This is a strange bar of Sydnet. It is *not* soap.
On CosDNA and Acne Mantra the bar is found to non comedogenic. It's color is odd-just like blue playdoh and smells like play doh too. I don't mind that because it is a brilliant facial cleanser. Non irritating, smoothing and soothing. This bar takes the place of my much obsessed over Dove Bar. The price is a bit much but it is a hard bar and will last a while...provided one is careful to KEEP IT DRY.
The pH is 5.

I saw this at Shoppers and it was like a mic dropped. I saw it there, on the shelf practically glowing with promise!
Seven bucks a bar...I stood there with a real :\ on my face for a full five minutes...and then I bought it.
I rushed home and nearly tore the box open with my teeth I was so excited. I used it...and it burned my eyes...very badly. "That's ok, it's a low pH cleanser that's all"
Then about ten minutes passed. My face broke out in the classic dermatitis reaction around the eyes and welts on the cheeks etc.
So bummed. I waited and lemmed this bar cleanser forever hoping it would come to canada and my skin hates it.

I have Lupus; my skin is very sensitive and can react sometimes to water. Before bed too, I sometimes get unbearably itchy. When I can afford it I have a bottle of Euecerin Calming Itch relief on hand for just getting rid of the itch. I live on the North East coast of canada and the weather here in winter is harsh, dry and cold. Eucerin products are always the best for my dry, eczematous skin. Love it

Aquaphor has saved my skin so many times. From toes to fingertips, face to lips, when I need heavy moisturizing that doesn't irritate my skin I always go for Aquaphor. I have a huge tub and I often put some in a small jar for hands and lips when I am out and about. The best multi tasker Ive ever come across. -

This bar is excellent. Dove Sensitive is my usual soap but I ordered this from Amazon...I hope it comes to a store near me soon. It's awesome for dry, itchy skin and it is non irritating and contains NO TALLOW.
Here is the ingredients list.
Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Stearic Acid, Water (Aqua), Cocoamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Borage Oil (Borago Officialis), Galactoarabinan, Titanium Dioxide, Tocopheryl Acetate, Salt, Natural Fragrance.
You can check that out of CosDNA or EWG and see this bar doesnt clog pores, doesn't leave a residue and is vegan. The smell is a very very light and very natural coconut scent. It's a hard, finely milled bar of Sydnet. I love this bar. I will be buying it in bulk, it's better than Dove and I really thought nothing could be better than Dove for my reactive skin.
