I received Breyers® Non-Dairy Vanilla Peanut Butter free to try from Chick Advisor. I speculated about the flavor before I tasted it, wondering how Breyers was going to get a creamy flavor and texture from non-dairy ingredients. I found it was a little bit crumbly when I scooped it into my bowl (it doesn't ball up nicely as you slide the ice cream scoop along the surface) but other than that, it definitely looks like authentic ice cream. Upon tasting it, if you had asked me blind folded if I was eating real ice cream I would have said yes, this is real dairy ice cream. It has the same creamy smooth texture and it melted on my tongue the same way dairy ice cream does. The peanut butter flavor was magnificent. I let my 9 and 7 year old kids try it, as well as my husband. I didn't tell them it was a non-dairy product. They loved it. I would recommend this product to friends and family. The only thing it has going against it is the retail price of $7.99-8.99 per carton. When their real dairy ice cream products are $2-3 dollars less, and the blue box products are sometimes $5 less, I wouldn't buy it for that reason alone. I feel sorry for lactose intolerant people in a way, because if they want a really delicious ice cream-like treat, they have to pay almost double the price. -

I was so excited to try SCHWARZKOPF ROOT RETOUCHER when I #gotitfree to try from @chickadvisor! The idea that I could keep my blonde looking fresh a little longer between colourings is very appealing to me! The first application didn't go as expected and I saw no difference. I gave the product the benefot of the doubt and thought "maybe I did something wrong". So I was very careful and deliberate the next time I used it and had the same disappointing result. I used it a 3rd time for the same unsatisfactory outcome. I saw no change in the colour of my roots. No lighter blonde effect whatsoever. I will not be buying this product in the future unfortunately...unless it is released in a "new and improved" formula. -

I had never tried Seventh Generation All-Purpose Cleaner until I #gotitfree to try and review from @FamilyRated. I used this cleaner in my bathroom and in my kitchen and was very happy with the effectiveness. I have always used regular non-eco-friendly versions of bathroom and kitchen cleaner without giving much thought into the harmful chemicals I was putting into our environment. Now that I know this more earth-friendly cleaner is just as good or better than other mainstream brands I will definitely make the switch and have a cleaner conscience as well! -

I hadn't tried Free & Clear Seventh Generation Dishwasher Detergent Pack until I #gotitfree to try and review. I have always used mainstream name brand laundry packs in the past and was hesitant to spend a little more on Seventh Generation at the risk of being disappointed in the results. Now that I know these Free & Clear packs clean just as good as the less earth-friendly brands I will definitely be buying them in the future so that I can do my part in reducing the amount of harmful chemicals our planet has to deal with. -

I tried Seventh Generation Laundry Detergent Packs after I #gotitfree to review. I have never used this laundry detergent before and while I didn't find it to be a "better" detergent than non-eco-friendly alternatives I've used in the past, I found it to be just as effective in cleaning my clothes and the benefit of it being a more earth-friendly alternative makes it a number one choice in detergents for me from now on. To know that I am doing something positive for the environment makes all the difference for me, and now I know I won't be compromising any cleaning benefits either. -

I follow a low-carb diet so I am always excited for new products that fall within my carbohydrate count for the day! I was so excited to #TryPremierProtein vanilla shakes when I #GotItFree from #Chickadvisor! I know I could have just popped the lid and drank up the delicious vanilla goodness, but I wanted to take it a step further and make smoothies with a nice vanilla base. I threw the vanilla flavoured Premier Protein shake in a blender with some ice and berries and voila: an awesome quick and easy healthy breakfast smoothie for me, a mom always on the go. I will definitely be purchasing more of these! -

Given that I make a huge effort to keep my carbohydrate consumption to a minimum, I was so excited to #TryPremierProtein chocolate shakes. I #gotitfree to try from #ChickAdvisor and am pleased to say that I will definitely be buying these shakes from now on. 1g of sugar? Yes please! There aren't a lot of sweet snacking opportunities when you eat a low carb diet, so I took the opportunity to make chocolate popsicles out of these shakes. Whenever I had a sweet tooth I just grabbed a delicious protein popsicle from the freezer and savored the satisfying flavor, without the guilt of sugar-laden treats. -

I received a coupon from ChickAdvisor for a free full sized NIVEA Cocoa Butter Body Cream. I usually use Aveeno body creams so I was excited to try a different brand and I am blown away by this new cream. I suffer from dry skin on my legs and arms and have a lot of exposure to the sun. Well NIVEA Cocoa Butter Body Cream was supple, easily absorbed, didn't leave a greasy feeling on my skin, had a subtle and wonderful scent, and left my skin feeling silky soft and even looking sleek. I will definitely be buying this cream regularly from now on instead of Aveeno. -

Not being a huge fan of lipstick, I wasn't sure how I would feel about the Maybelline New York Color Sensational Inti-Matte Nudes Lipstick I received free to try from ChickAdvisor. I received a lip liner as well to try with and I am in love! I have a problem with pressing my lips together and losing lipstick along the way until I have next to nothing left on my lips. I found the matte finish on this lipstick to really work in preventing colour loss and I was surprised how long it lasted before I needed to touch up or re-apply. I am definitely happy with this lipstick and am looking forward to trying more colours.

I received Maybelline New York Color Sensational Shaping Lip Liner free to try from ChickAdvisor. I have not had a lot of luck with lip liners I have tried in the past with smudging issues and having it wear off before I would reasonably expect it to. This Lip Liner went on smoothly and creamily, which had me skeptical at first thinking no way is this going to stay, but I paired it with the lipstick I received since the colours were so complimentary and it looked sensational. Not only that, it lasted for hours with no touch ups. I am really happy with this lip liner and am looking forward to trying different shades of it.
