The Nivea Protect & Care Deodorant was such a shocking product as I didn't really see Nivea as a deodorant company but more with lotions. The deodorant comes in a typical Nivea blue packaging and it is a great size; its comfortable to hold in your hand and doesn't easily slip away. It is a solid white deodorant which essentially means it'll leave a white mark on your clothing and sometimes if you apply too much leaves a cottage cheese looking substance in your arm pits. I"ve used solid whites and like them just because I feel the work better and the product lingers longer than invisible deodorants but I recommend using them with shirts that aren't sleeveless. As expected, the deodorant moisturizes amazingly and never left me feeling dry. The scent is wonderful and not too strong; it is also not a floral scent which is nice because other companies frequently only offer flower or fruity scents. I gave this deodorant the test at Disney World this week and it held up great and kept me body odor free!
I received the Nivea Protect & Care Anti-Perspirant/Deodorant for free from ChickAdvisor and I plan to keep an eye out for this product in stores from now on.

I received the Vichy Ideal Body Replumping Lip Balm for free from Chick Advisor to test it out. I was not impressed with this balm. Unfortunately, it made my lips dry after each use; I generally don't have dry lips so it was a major issue for me. The balm comes in a very convenient tube and is easy to apply; it is very thick which surprised me when my lips were dry after use. It comes on clear and does not have a tint to it. It also had a odd floral flavor and scent to it which I'm not a fan of for lip balms. I did feel like it plumped my lips a bit but just did not seem worth it for the price as well as for the dryness it created after each use. -

I received the Vichy Ideal Body Spa Shower Gel-Cream from Chick Advisor to test and review. Overall, I really liked the shower gel as it has a great consistency and makes my skin feel great. The Body Gel states that it has thermal spa water which is rich in 15 minerals as well as white clay and Shea butter. After using it, my skin feels softer. This body spa gel isn't too runny so its easy to use and you don't have to use a large amount so I imagine the container will last me well past these few weeks. The price is a bit steep so I'm not sure if I'd but it when its full price. I also was not a huge fan of the smell; underneath the typical spa smell it has a strong hint of chemical scent. The bottle is a great size as well and doesn't take up too much room in the shower either. -

I recieved the Vichy Ideal Body Milk for free from Chick Advisor to use for several weeks and then review. Overall, I enjoyed the product and love it. The body milk is a luxurious lotion that claims to hydrate, firm, and smooth skin. Since I recently had a baby, I decided to use this lotion on my stomach as well as thighs and legs. I love how it made my skin so soft and incredibly smooth. For application, it comes out as a pink lotion and doesn't feel too greasy. It isn't an instant dry lotion so expect to wait a minute before getting dressed to let the body milk dry. The scent isn't too overpowering and does not linger after applying the lotion which I actually liked. I didn't really notice any firming but it does make my skin look great! The price is quite expensive so I probably would only buy this item if I saw it on sale. -

We purchased the smaller Boon Lawn to help with drying our son's bottles and pacifiers. It is absolutely awesome and looks great on our counter top. The smaller size is perfect for our apartment kitchen and has adequate space for all the bottle pieces and for my breast pump pieces that we have to boil. It is easy to clean as well and keeps the water off the counter top. -

I received the Ergo Original Baby Carrier in the navy blue with whales as a gift at my baby shower. I purchased the newborn insert but never got to use it because our son ended up being about 9 lbs at birth and by the time we needed to use it he was already out of the newborn insert size. The fabric is adorable with the cute whales and sort of a faded navy blue color. The comfort of the carrier is great and I don't feel any pinching or rubbing when our son is in it. I will admit though that this carrier is a bit more technical than some others I've seen but once you set it up and figure out how to put it on without help it is a great carrier. There is one strap that goes between your shoulder blades that can be hard to insert if you aren't flexible (I always have to do this one for my husband because he can't reach that area of his back). Our son loves the carrier and falls asleep in it shortly after being in it. The carrier also has an awesome pocket for your phone and wallet. The little cover is awesome for when the baby needs shade or sleep and clicks in very easily on the shoulder pads. The carrier is quite bulky though so I'm not sure how it'll be during summer as it might get very warm. I've seen that Ergo has a sports carrier they released and I'm tempted to go find a store where I can test that one out to see if its lighter. Overall, I love our Ergo baby carrier and would definitely recommend it. -

I landed on Milk Snob nursing covers about two months ago while looking for a cover that had multiple uses. I didn't want to purchase a cover that was only for nursing in the event that I wasn't able to continue breastfeeding or it was useless after Noah is done being breastfed. Milk Snobs covers can be used as a scarf, breastfeeding cover, car seat cover, and even a shopping cart cover. I instantly was hooked on following this product and about two weeks ago I purchased my first two covers. Here I am reviewing the Toggle Nursing Cover. Like the original, the fabric and quality of this nursing cover is amazing. I purchased it in the grey and cream stripes pattern. It is super comfortable and the toggle function is great for adjusting the neck line. The fabric doesn't trap in too much heat and if you're getting warm then you can open the neckline more. I like this cover way better than the original when it comes to using it as a car seat cover. The toggle feature allows you to cinch in the hole thus allowing more protection from wind or sunlight. I love using this even when we're going into places that are high in germs like the doctors office or a walk-in clinic. I'm excited for the many uses I'll get out of this product in the future and would definitely recommend it as a must have for all new moms. -

I purchased this nursing scarf at walmart and though it feels wonderful I probably wouldn't buy one again. It is cute as a scarf though I wish it was longer so you could wear it in different styles. The fabric feels great but when nursing it gets very hot underneath it. I used it while on a flight and at an airport to feed our son and both of us were cooking and uncomfortable by the end of it. Plus it falls on his face so much that half the time I just went underneath with him and made it like a tent over us. The other problem I had with it is the sides are much longer than the center so you have to make sure you put it on properly which can be challenging when you have a screaming baby and are in a hurry. -

I didn't want to purchase a cover that was only for nursing in the event that I wasn't able to continue breastfeeding or it was useless after Noah is done being breastfed. Milk Snobs covers can be used as a scarf, breastfeeding cover, carseat cover, and even a shopping cart cover. I instantly was hooked on following this product and about two weeks ago I purchased my first two covers. Here I am reviewing the Original cover in the Aztec Flower pattern. The fabric is absolutely beautiful and is light; it feels wonderful to wear. The original cover though is smaller than their other covers (toggle covers). I plan to use this cover for the scarf and cover up purpose more than as a carseat cover. The quality is just amazing and I absolutely love how you can see into the carseat to make sure your baby is fine. -

This dry shampoo was by far my favorite; I did receive it free from Chick Advisor. I was currently using a powder type dry shampoo and usually by the end of the day my hair looked greasy again but with the Dove Refresh+Care Invigorating Dry Shampoo that wasn't the case. Also unlike the dry shampoo I was using, you didn't have to try and hide the shampoo; with powder dry shampoo sometimes your hair looks like you have bad dandruff if you accidentally use too much. The dry shampoo added a nice shine to my hair while taming the oiliness. The product comes in a nice skinny bottle which I liked because it'll fit nicely in our apartment cabinets. My only complain is the smell; this dry shampoo has a horrible strong chemical smell when you spray it. Unfortunately I'm not sure if that smell lingers as I decided to use hairspray an bit after applying this dry shampoo. I know I plan to continue using this product and likely buying it in the future. -
