I am reviewing this product as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club.
In comparison to regular Always dri-weave liners, the Always Flexi-Style Liners felt thinner and had better adhesive quality. As with all Always products, this is another high quality winner. Because these can be customized to suit any kind of panty, you only have to buy one kind of pantyliner, not two or three any longer. I liked using these as an everyday liner, or in addition to a tampon. However, if you need a bit more protection, you may wish to stick with the regular Always dri-weave liners. But, I would definitely recommend these!

I use both pads and tampons, and found the Always Infinity Pads to be an effective, high quality product. While they are lightweight and offer good protection, I find myself missing the original Dri-Weave covering. This covering is soft and cotton-like, which feels good against skin, but I kept wondering if it would do its job (i.e. protection from leakage). It worked - no leaks. Even when worn overnight.
Thanks, ChickAdvisor, for giving me the opportunity to try this product. I would buy it again in the future.

I was thrilled to receive this mascara since it claims to provide 9x volume from the first application. I am not one of those lucky women who have long, lush lashes. I have sparse, short and fine lashes, and usually the only way for my eyelashes to frame my eyes is if I use false lashes. Since receiving it, I have used Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express Mascara several times in order to provide my review on it.
The first time, I applied the mascara only to one set of eyelashes, leaving the other set bare. When compared with my natural lashes, the mascara made a noticeable difference. My lashes were darker in tint than usual; however, I didn't find that it made them more lush, longer or thicker. I have used other mascaras that had better impact with less work, as I had to apply 2 to 3 coats to see any difference.
As others have indicated, the smell seems strange for a mascara. Perhaps they can create a scent-free formulation of it.
I'd also like a waterproof version, as I found that my mascara felt as though it was melting off mid-way through the day and left slight smudge-marks under my eyes.
Overall, Maybelline Colossal Volum'Express Mascara does a good job for a drugstore mascara. I would probably buy it again if a waterproof formula was available.

Nestle Noir Intense is the perfect chocolate for baking and garnishes. The chocolate is firm, but not too hard to grate using a rasp or a vegetable peeler, if you want to make chocolate ribbons. I used this to make a decadent mug of hot chocolate by melting a few pieces of chocolate in the milk, and adding chocolate shavings on top. This resulted in a richer than usual drink. Since it was dark chocolate, it was not too sweet - just perfect. I'm not sure if I would want to eat this on its own, but it sure tasted good in my hot chocolate. Can't wait to try it with my baking! -

The Nestle Noir Eclat Noir is the perfect alternative for those who like chocolate-covered coffee beans. This bar contains bits of coffee beans mixed with dark chocolate. While the chocolate is smooth and rich, it does have that slight bitterness that is characteristic of most dark chocolate. Unfortunately, I found that the coffee beans added to the bitterness, and I did not enjoy it as much as I thought I would. However, I have to add that I don't generally like chocolate-covered coffee beans so perhaps this is a carry-over from that. Others who tried this chocolate bar with me found it to be pleasantly tasty and a treat that they enjoyed with their coffee. -

Of the four Nestle Noir chocolate bars that I sampled, I was expecting this to be my least favourite because I am not generally a fan of cherries or chocolate covered cherries. There's something about the goeey texture of chocolate covered cherries that turns me off and reminds me of the liquid medicine I had to take for colds as a child. (It's not a surprise that I have avoided cherry-flavoured anything since childhood.) I was skeptical about whether I would like this, but I was pleasantly surprised. Instead of the soft maraschino cherries I was expecting, Nestle opted to use small bits of chewy, dried cherry. It was a very good complement to the slight bitterness of dark chocolate. While this isn't my favourite of the group, I found myself unexpectedly enjoying the Nestle Noir Cherry. -

This one was my favourite of the four Nestle Noir Eclat chocolate bars. I tend to love caramel so it was wonderful to have crunchy bits of caramel scattered throughout the rich dark chocolate. The chocolate was smooth and well-balanced by the sweet hint of caramel, making this a delicious treat. This went great with a cup of coffee in the afternoon, especially after an hour of shovelling the mountain of snow that piled up in the driveway last weekend! -

Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion is the latest wonder product from the Dr. Brandt Skincare line sold at Sephora (in stores, and online). This high-end exfoliating scrub contains diamond-shaped magnesium oxide crystals that gently polish away dead skin cells, leaving your skin radiant and smooth.
Dampen your skin with warm water before applying a small (dime to nickel-sized) amount of the product. Using your fingers, gently smooth the scrub onto your skin while avoiding your eye area. I tend to apply the product by "drawing" circles over my cheeks, jawline, nose and forehead with my finger tips, so that the pressure is not too heavy. After 1 to 2 minutes, rinse off all of the product and pat your face dry with a soft towel. You should notice an immediate difference.
Don't forget to follow up with a luxurious moisturizer so that your skin doesn't end up too dry.
If you have very sensitive skin, you will want to exercise caution in using this product. Although it is reputed to not irritate or scratch skin, my sister found the product to be too strong for her face.

From the same folks who brough us the popular Kiss Me Mascara, the fabulous Kiss Me Eyeliner is a water-resistant, smudge-proof, fade-proof liquid eyeliner that forms an intense layer of colour on your lids. It stays put all day, even if you rub your eyes, until you remove it with warm water and gentle pressure from your fingertips at the end of the night. There's no need for pricey or harsh eye make-up removers.
The key to successfully applying this eyeliner is use a very steady hand to draw a fine line across your taut eyelid. The colour sets after a minute, and you can apply additional coats to deepen the colour or thicken the line.
I haven't quite mastered the art of applying liquid eyeliner with a steady hand so it takes me a bit longer to get it right; however, I do love the results once I've finished as the colour remains at the same intensity and does not fade all day long. Also, I'm a chronic "rub my eyes when I'm tired" kind of person so it's great that I can do so without worrying about smearing my eyeliner all over my face. I'd definitely recommend Kiss Me Eyeliner if you like using liquid eyeliners, or if you're just looking for a great eyeliner that doesn't run, smear or fade.

Thanks to ChickAdvisor and Spa Boutique, which sponsored the last ChickAdvisor contest, I got the chance to try the fabulous Kiss Me Mascara that everyone's been raving about -- for free. (Thank you!) Having used it, I can certainly why this product has been recommended by celebrities, make-up artists, friends and acquaintances. Kiss Me Mascara works - just one coat turned my lashes into gorgeous, waterproof, smear-proof Bambi-like lashes. (Normally, you can't see my tiny lashes even if I put on a couple coats of mascara.)
What makes the product waterproof and smearproof is this amazing Japanese technology that allows the mascara to create protective "tubes" around each lash, instead of binding to the hair follicle. This means you don't need to use any harsh eye make-up removers to remove all traces of your mascara. All you need is some water and gentle pressure from your finger pads to loosen the mascara "tubes" around your lashes (which will look suspiciously like your eyelashes falling off, but they're not). It's so easy to remove, and rinses away clean.
My eyes are fairly sensitive so I've usually avoided using mascara, but I love Kiss Me Mascara and use it all the time. I've also been recommending this great product to friends and colleagues. My suggestion? The next time you need a new tube of mascara, pick up some Kiss Me Mascara and you won't regret it.
