My daughter wets the bed every night. She's 6 and there hasn't been a dry night yet. Feeling unsure about whether or not using underjams every night was the right answer, since I thought maybe she couldn't feel the wetness while sleeping, I thought maybe Bed Mats were a better answer to help her stop wetting the bed. Overall, the bed mats worked to hold the pee. They unfortunately didn't help to wake her up when she wet like I'd hoped, but their purpose was still served. The underjams still do a better job in keeping everything dry. With the Bed Mats her blankets had made their way under her and were soaked, and her PJs obviously were too. I didn't like the crinkling noise it made either, it's like speeping on newspaper. The stickers did a good job holding the corners in place, but the top sagged a bit by the end of the night. Overall I probably would not buy these agmats. Our money is better spent on underjams that hold everything in and don't allow her PJs to be soaked. If a bed mat is your preference you'd be better off buying 2 or 3 good quality, washable bed mats, like they use in the hospitals, and buy some 2-sided tape to keep it in place. It would be more comfortable to sleep on and you could re-use them. You'd probably save money too, since I've seen those washable mats in stores for under $20 each.
