I received Motrin Super Strength Liquid Gels to try from ChickAdvisor in exchange for my honest review. I am someone who initially went on the pill when I was young due to extremely painful and almost debilitating menstrual cramps several days before my period and then during my period. Even after getting on the pill, which helped immensely, I still require some form of Ibuprofen during my cycle and it has always been a lifesaver. I tried this Motrin during the time I would normally require it, a few days before when the cramping starts and then a few days into my period, and they worked really well! They seemed to work fairly quickly, about 15 minutes I would say. I did not notice much cramping after that. I had to take another pill later in the day but that is usual for me. These Liquid Gels are coming up priced at around $16 CDN for 60 capsules, which is fairly affordable. All in all, I would certainly recommend these to anyone experiencing menstrual cramps because they do alleviate symptoms quickly and for a long period of time. -

This is very fast- absorbing face oil that absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a greasy residue. However, I do not think I would recommend this to people with oily skin (I have combination-mostly dry skin). Once massaged into my face, it left my skin feeling very soft and smooth with a bit of a glow-from-within. The scent is very subtle and not overwhelming in my opinion. After using this over a couple of weeks, I don't think this had any effect on my fine lines but I do see an improvement in the texture of my skin.

This cleanser gently cleanses and exfoliates your skin without feeling rough or drying. It leaves my skin feeling very clean and soft after patting dry. The scent is subtle and slightly fruity, not overpowering at all in my opinion. I like pump as it allows you to have control over how much you're using. I can't say I noticed a change in my skin (e.g. more radiant in 1 week as the product claims) after using this for a couple of weeks, but it did always leave my skin feeling very fresh and clean. I think for approximately $10 CDN, the value is decent as you get 141g in the container.
The only downside to this product is that it contains talc. In this day and age, there are so many skincare products that do not contain a bad ingredient like talc, so I probably would not purchase this again.

First of all, this product was nearly impossible to find Toronto even at very popular chains that were supposed to have it like Walmart and Metro. None of them had it and it was very frustrating. I had to go all the way to Brampton to a Sobeys to get my hands on this, and I do not even have a car; I had to rely on someone else to help me out, so I was really not impressed with all the work I had to do and all the money spent on gas just to get my hands on this product.
That aside, I love Ginger Ale and was excited to try this new product, especially a summer-based product. Even though this was supposed to be “lemonade” flavoured, I did not taste any lemon. It definitely has a tangy or tarte flavor but no lemon, so it was less sweet than I was expecting like a lemonade would normally be. Even though I wish it was more lemon-based, it is still a very refreshing version of Ginger Ale I would classify as a summer drink and I still really liked it. This drink should be had cold and I personally preferred it over ice. It tasted much better. Due to the high sugar count (34g), this is something that would only be a ‘treat’ a couple times a week.
My absolutely favourite version of Ginger Ale is the Cranberry version they come out with around the winter holidays – it surpasses this one! I wish they would make all these different flavours permanent!

Buyers Delights Raspberry Fudge is a pretty tasty treat if you are looking for something in the frozen and sweet category but do not want to consume a lot of calories. At only 90 calories per 125mL, it is definitely a fry cry from regular ice cream.
The taste of this frozen product is more like a sorbet or gelato than an ice cream. It tastes more "watered down" as opposed to creamy, which will not be for everyone. But given the calorie cut, this is to be expected. Personally, though, I think the raspberry flavour is lacking a bit. I can taste it of course, but I wish it was more prominent. The fudge is like a chocolate syrup and is not very evenly distributed. There was not a lot of it in my particular container, which was disappointing. I would have preferred much more of this chocolate since the flavour implies it is both raspberry and fudge.
All in all, though the flavor was a bit lacking, I still enjoyed this frozen dessert and it was nice to eat something lower in calories but that still satisfied the sweet craving. Maybe something they could have done was include real raspberry pieces? That would have created a lot more flavour, I think!

I have been using these drops and applying them before my moisturizer, sort of like a primer, and I have been loving the product so far. The packaging is great and mess-free; the dropper works well and picks up product and releases it as it should, unlike some other droppers I have used in the past. The smell is gorgeous! Very fresh and spa-like, much like the rest of the Positively Radiant line. When applied to bare skin, this will give you a definite glow effect. Skin looks fresh and glowy and healthy - not greasy or oily. It also feels very moisturizing. If I had the skin for it, I would wear them alone! For the type of product this is, I would say it was priced well. You get a lot of product in this bottle and considering how little you need to use and that the dropper helps you minimize wasting product, it will last you a long time.

I have never used an applicator like this before. It is a tube packaging with a flat paddle where the product is dispensed that you use to smooth over your face. Very interesting! It works pretty well and keeps your hands mess-free. The scent is very nice - fresh and spa-like, not overpowering. I am always a bit iffy about sleep masks because I am afraid of the mess they will make on my pillow. This one dries down slightly but it is still wet to the touch if you pat it. Washing this off in the morning, my skin was very soft and definitely looked very fresh and radiant. It looked and felt more hydrated than usual. I would say this product delivered what it promised in that respect. This would be a great mask to use a couple times a week when you feel your skin needs a pick-me-up maybe mid-week and near the end of the week after being exposed to the regular outside pollutants and your daily make-up.
The only downside to this product is the price point. You only get 50mL for almost $30CDN. That is very pricey for a drugstore product. After only one application, I could tell I would only get a handful more uses before the product would be used up. So it is definitely not a lot of bang for your buck.

This is your fairly standard peel-off mask. It comes in a squeeze tube format and so you have to squeeze it into your hand and smooth it on to your face, which is a bit messy and sticky. The scent was fresh but not overpowering. It takes quite a while to dry. You need the full 15 minutes like the directions say, I find, in order to be able to peel it off properly. Unlike a lot of peel-off masks, almost everything came off in one piece and I did not have to wash anything off by hand. Also, I found this one less painful to peel off than other peel off masks I have tried in the past! My skin after the fact looked much fresher, less tired and radiant - I would say it delivered what it promised. In terms of cost, I would say you will only get 3 masks max from this tube, so roughly $5 CDN/mask. That is a little on the pricey side for drugstore.

I'm not a fan of this product. It feels more like a gel than a hairspray to me. The nozzle dispenses way too much the product and my hair just looks and feels wet. The product took way too long to dry. This is why it felt more like a hair gel. It just sat on my hair wet, minus a few areas where it actually dried down like a hairspray and my hair felt "solid." But because it did not dry down, my hair looked sort of dirty and unwashed, which is not the look I am going for, especially on a day I have not actually washed my hair and I am using dry shampoo. Overall, this is just not a "hairspray" product to me or what I am looking for when buying a hairspray. If I was wanting a hair gel-like product, which I am not because I have thin hair and struggle with volume, perhaps this is something I would purchase. It does smell great. But that is not what is advertised so unfortunately this a no-go for me despite loving all other Love Beauty & Planet products I have tried. -

I really loved the Love Beauty & Planet Coconut Milk & White Jasmine Divine Definition Conditioner! It smells wonderful, very fresh and floral. It is not too thick like some conditioners can be. I feel like this gets my hair feeling very clean without stripped of moisture. I have very long and tangle-prone hair, and this conditioner makes my hair so much easier to brush after I get out of the shower! It leaves my hair very smooth and less frizzy, which in turn leaves less tangles. Love that it is cruelty-free and vegan and uses organic and ethically-sourced ingredients.
The only downside, in my opinion, is cost. The bottle is pretty small and it is pretty pricey. I have long hair down to the small of my back so I would go through a bottle like this in less than a month. That said, it has many benefits over most conditioners on the market and to me is worth the extra money.
