I was looking for a shampoo and conditioner that is sulfate, synthetic dye, silicone and paraben free that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg (it's also vegan for anyone looking for that kind of product). My hair is naturally very dry and is dye-free just to give an idea of the condition of my hair. Because it's winter my scalp has been dry and itchy.
The shampoo smelt really good and was light. I used a little bit, added a bit of water and used it just on my scalp while using their coconut conditioner. Not a lot is needed. My hair felt super smooth and hydrated (something I never achieved before). I am super pleased with the results. Just wish it came in a larger option.

After being in a car accident we needed to get a convertible car seat so someone lent us the Evenflo Triumph until we could get another seat.
The seat itself is just $199.99 so it's on the less expensive end of the spectrum. it is difficult to switch from forward facing to rear facing. The installation took awhile and was not the easiest. Our baby was unfortunately not able to get in and out of the seat comfortably because the knob that adjusts the tightness of the harness is at the front side of the seat and ends up right against the back of the seat making it difficult to turn while in rear facing mode. If the seat is in forward facing then I am sure it may be easier (except that it would be facing away from the opening of the door).
I would not purchase this seat because I find the features impede on using the seat well. I suggest going with a different seat altogether.

We were looking specifically for a convertible car seat that would be good to use in our compact car (Honda Civic 2006) since my husband is very tall. The car seat itself was released in Canada earlier this year so it is fairly new on the market. The seat retails for $308-310. Rearfacing it goes up to 35 llbs and forward facing up to 65 llbs.
The installation itself was about average. Not overly difficult compared to other seats but not easy either. There was no need to use a pool noodle or rolled towel to get the needed fit on the seat. Because our baby is10 months old we tried it on the second most upright setting. When it was installed we were able to push back the passenger seat almost all the way back. Because of its sleek design (it doesn't flair at the sides) it has the ability to go next to another car seat rather easily. I tried sitting in the drivers seat to see about it impeding my ability to do shoulder checks and the seat did not block anything.
A nice feature that this seat has at its price point is that there is no need to rethread the harness because of the Simply Safe Adjust harness system which adjusts the headrest and the shoulder height of the harness at the same time. The seat is also nice and light. Though we won't be using it anytime soon, a nice feature is also the removable cupholder.
Definitely recommend this seat - it is a great price and fits perfectly in compact vehicles. This seat is ideal for parents who want to do extended rearfacing for a baby that is on the longer and more slender side.

The seat itself is very easy to install and change in recline. This seat rear faces until 40 llbs and has a variety of reclines (perfect for extended rearfacing with an average sized child). To change the seat from rear facing to forward facing is also very simple. I also like that there is no rethreading of the harness since the harness moves as the back of the seat moves up and down to adjust for height.
The seat itself fit very nicely behind the passenger seat. I was able to get the seat almost all the way back but had to pull up the head rest, which is great for my very tall (6'1") husband (keep in mind that it was second from the highest sitting setting so if it is for a newborn then it will take more space since it would be more reclined). While sitting in the drivers seat (as a very short 5'1" woman) I was still able to do a nice shoulder check.
The seat itself curves out in such a way that if you are looking to add another car seat, it would be very difficult to do with this seat. The anti-rebound bar (the big marketed feature of the seat) was more annoying than anything and if we don't want to use it then it would need to always be tethered from the top. Other seats are equally as safe and have their own mechanisms so it isn't really that great of a feature, in my opinion.
While I understand the safety feature of the absorbing harness pads I found that these were more of a nuisance in allowing me to adjust the harness to being the correct tightness.
Overall: Very safe seat and very easy to install. Fits great in compact vehicles (as long as you only plan on using only one at a time). Some of the features that are there to improve the safety of the seat are actually quite annoying. We went with a different car seat because of those features.

I was given this as a baby shower gift and I am so glad it was. This sheep has 5 sounds with a volume control, adjustable sensor and timer. The sheep itself is soft and can be attached to the crib. There are no hard parts for little one to choke on - and because the sound part is completely removable the sheep itself may be used as a stuffed animal. The sensor works very well - if she starts crying then the sound machine turns on again. The timer is great because I can set the sound to stay on for a certain length of time. The only downside? If we are out somewhere and forget the Sleep Sheep it is difficult to get her to go to sleep! -

I found that a lot of towels made for babies do not last very long because they are made so small. I was on the hunt for a larger towel that my baby could grow into and use into toddlerhood. I found a lot of those towels to be expensive ($29+) so I was excited to find these nice-sized hooded towels at Carter's (I bought them on sale for $12, regular price is $18). They are a nice cotton with a good sized hood and will fit baby even when she is a growing toddler. They come in different colours and animals. They are also nice and thick and don't seem to have the same kind of static that makes other hooded towels have stuff cling to them. Totally recommend these because these towels will actually carry you over a couple of years instead of just a few months (if you are lucky)! -

My baby loves these teethers. We tried various ones (including the ring ones) and she didn't take to them because of the size (I think they were a little awkward and clunky). She likes passing them between her hands and loves chewing on them - even if they aren't cold. They have really helped with teething and have been a lifesaver. They are super easy for her to grip. The plus is that they are easy to wash -

We tried this formula (along with other formulas) with our little one after we had to to give up breastfeeding. Baby hated this formula - trying to get her to have some was quite futile so we gave up. It also turned her poop green so I think it had more iron in it than other formulas. Price is better than other formulas (ie. Similac and Enfamil) but not as great as a couple other brands. Not a fan of the product itself. I'm sure that it is fine for others, just definitely not my baby. -

If you have a baby that is a heavy drooler these are a great purchase.
What I like about the product:
1. Canadian company makes these;
2. Two snaps allow for adjustable neck size (our 7 month old is still in the tightest setting);
3. A lot of nice colours and patterns to choose from that range from feminine to masculine to more neutral;
4. The snaps are very secure;
5. The fabric feels so nice (all cotton), is good quality and the bandanas themselves are well-made;
6. Easy care (just put it in the washing machine with the rest of baby's clothes); and,
6. Product has done well at protecting baby's skin (and clothes) from the large amounts of drool (ours is on the high side of moderate drooling).
What I dislike about the product:
1. On the pricier side compared to a regular bib but along the same price as similar products.
Bottom line:
Yes, these are pricier than your average bib but these do a great job while remaining fashionable (these are not meant fo be replacements for bibs you use while feeding little one).

I love Aero bars and most of their new lineup of different flavoured bars. I saw the vanilla one and I just had to try it. It was awful. The flavours just did not go well together in they made it. I found it difficult to finish the bar but I did not want to waste the money I had just spent on it. Stay away from this, even if you usually like vanilla and chocolate flavours mixed together. -
