I had given up on ginger ale because 'every' brand would give me heartburn. Then my friend told me about this brand... the only one her sensitive stomach tolerates. Well, hello, there! Schweppes is now my one and only ginger ale choice. No heartburn, and a pleasant taste. :) My regular grocery store just stopped carrying this brand. To me, it's worth going to another store to get it, and I keep some on hand for the occasional upset stomach or treat. -

I rarely drink pop (avoiding artificial ingredients, excess sugar, and aspartame), and still sometimes want something that feels like a "treat", without those ingredients. This nicely fits the bill. I like it better than Canada Dry Lemon/lime Club Soda, which was my previous staple beverage.
The price is good, and the taste is great - it is not too strong, or artificial.

I got this free from another website to try out. I usually don't buy 5-blade razors because they are so bulky, and don't get into nooks and crannies well (like the back of the knee...). This one was a pleasant surprise on a few levels.
Pros:
- very close shave, leaves legs feeling smooth without added shave gel/cream/soap.
- My after-shower moisturizer lasted way longer than usual, and my legs felt smooth for 1.5 days after shaving.
- No heavy scents, non-irritating to general (smooth-surface, flatter) shave areas like lower leg.
Cons:
- missed several spots where hair was longer (razor gunked up, and was difficult to rinse out for a second pass).
- On areas where a 2nd/3rd pass was used to get all the hair, or more curvy areas, painful razor burn happened, and lasted much longer than the shave.
- didn't get into the nooks and crannies (like back of the knee) well, probably because the razor head is so bulky. (moisturizing strips plus 5 blades = almost 1" of flat surface required to get a close shave).

In this age of scent sensitivities, and fragrance-free workplaces, I find it disappointing that so many products have potent smells. This one is far too fragrant for me to use in our scent-sensitive home and office, as is the rest of the Dove hair care line. :(
I got a free sample from Dove, so thankfully I didn't have to pay for it, only to turn around and donate it. It works beautifully - just one or two drops does a great job of taming my curly-hair frizzies, and doesn't leave a greasy look - just a beautiful shine, and well-defined curl when combined with my regular hair gel.
It took a full day for most of the smell to wear off, so it's not something I can buy and continue to use. I wish Dove made a hair care line without fragrance, like they do for body care products. I'd be one of the first to volunteer as a tester.

I use this mainly to cover greys, and stick close to my natural color.
I pre-treat the regrowth of grey roots with the developer alone for 5-10 mins, then add the developer-color combo for about 45 minutes. Once in a while, I pull the color through the entire head of hair, but most often, I can get away with only coloring the roots and first 4-6" of hair, and blending it into the longer areas for the last 5-10 mins.
When my hair was short, 1/2 of the solution was all I needed. Now with mid-length hair, it takes about 1/2 to do a root and first 4-6 inches only treatment, and full bottle to do the full head (and that's almost not enough).
Pre-treating with developer was my hairstylist's tip to get better grey coverage. Without that step, I don't find this product adheres to grey hair very well, until it's been colored 2-3 times (I was noticing grey at the roots and first few inches, but not further down the hair strands).
The colors on the box rarely show the actual color, so it takes some experimenting and/ or blending to get exactly what I want. I've been using this brand for years. I like that it is not highly scented, and it seems quite effective. Done right, it looks pretty natural.

My go-to brand. The multi-packs often go on sale, and it does the job well. I use the 2-ply for everyday, and break out the 3 ply only when I have a cold or in allergy season. Unscented, no added lotions. Performs well for wiping the occasional sniffle or tear. Not so great for big jobs like cold-related runny noses - it's a bit rough on the nose for repeated use, and not quite thick enough for the volume of liquid a cold produces. But folded in half, it will still do the job. -

Unscented. Longer than most liners, but still discrete. I bought them in bulk at Costco, on reduced price, and am happy with their performance. They protect better than most liners against leaks, or as protection on light flow days. I can't wear them for several days in a row, as the plastic topper becomes irritating with long term use. -
My go-to for unfragranced lotions. It's more costly than other brands, but I wait for sale/coupons, and stock up. It absorbs quickly, moisturizes well, and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. Win! :)
