Whether you're whipping your hair back and forth, or simply walking down the street (the former seems more fun), the last thing you want to have is your hair stuck in your lip gloss. Mary Kay's lip gloss is perfect for stopping those unwanted strands of hair stuck to your lips. It has a lightweight and very creamy non-stick formula making gusts of wind no longer an enemy. It has A LOT of shine which I love because if I'm wearing it in the first place, I want it to be noticeable. Bonus: Its plant-derived ingredients, like aloe leaf extract, keeps my lips conditioned instead of drying them out like other lip glosses. Yay for Mary Kay! -

Uneven liner is the absolute worst, but it's the easiest thing to happen to me because of my unsteady hand. Thanks to Revlon's skinny tip, I can actually achieve a straight line! It's extremely easy to apply with its smooth liquid formula too. It didn't smudge one bit throughout the day, although it did fade a little. It was not a large problem though and expected because it's not a waterproof formula. I got the "Electric Blue," which is nice on your lids if you are looking to stray away from the regular matte black. -

I have tried a multitude of dry shampoos. My hair is brown, and regular dry shampoos' chalky white sprays just do not agree with my dark locks! This Batiste dry shampoo definitely comes out on top! It is perfect for those times that you need to skip the hair wash and still want your hair looking fresh. It instantly dries in your hair leaving a nice floral scent (rather than that gross aerosol hairspray stench). I still recommend spraying it quite a distance from your head as it does come out a little white, but fear not, as this one dries and disappears quickly. -

These easy-to-use paks are an excellent stain remover against the toughest and stickiest foods (now I can happily indulge in the cheesiest of lasagnas!). You can get made to order juices, or you can quickly grab an already made batch stored in cute glass bottles. What makes The Good Press unique is their acai bowls! I recommend their Date Bowl. They are absolutely delicious, and perfect for anyone that feels like something sweet but healthy. It's a great and unique addition to Yorkville that is for sure. -

Titika active wear is my new favourite store. It is a Canadian brand, so I love that I am supporting a local business. I walked into their Don Mills location after finding them on Instagram, and I am so very glad I did. They cater to mixing function with fashion, and they are doing so successfully. Their clothing can be used during those sweaty workouts, but as well as in the office. Their styles are much more unique and a nice change to the standard Lululemon patterns. All the pieces I tried on (10 ) are extremely flattering. I had a hard time narrowing my choices down! The staff members are very helpful, and are not pushy at all. Bonus: 10% for students! -

The prices are good for what you get, and they offer tea, coffee, or lattes while you get pampered. -
