I enjoyed this movie. I found the plot to be very exciting and the 3 lead actors were excellent. I didn't think it was as cheesy as the previous reviewers (I also can't recall a ghost in the bathroom scene...when did that happen??), but I definitely thought they should have cut out the final scene, that was the only cheesy part I can remember.
I didn't see the original film but I did hear it was better. My only real beef with this film was all the jargon that they used at the beginning, I found it a bit difficult to follow.

I needed a new gel recently so I went to Shoppers Drug Mart and chose based on what was on sale. I like the smell of Garnier hair products so I thought I'd give this one a try.
I have been using it for days I leave my hair naturally wavy. My hair can be pretty frizzy when it's au natural, so I use a fair amount but it still leaves my hair natural looking and not crunchy.
I don't think that the hold is strong enough for my hair. One of the reasons I use gel when leaving my hair wavy is to flatten it out a bit as it can get pretty pouffy, and I found that after this gel has time to set, it looses the hold.

This lipstick is awesome. I got to try a PR sample of this lipstick in Le Orange, which is a bright reddish-orange. I actually saw someone wearing a similar colour in a magazine advertisement a while ago and was considering trying something similar. So when I saw this one I was really excited to try it.
It glides on extremely smooth and it's really moisturizing. It has a satiny finish and I love that it has 15 SPF.
It's pretty expensive for a lipstick but it's worth the splurge. Plus the packaging is very glam!

I got to test this perfume out courtesy of the brand for ChickAdvisor's Fall Fragrances article and it's now my new perfume of choice! It starts off fresh and sweet (lemon, red and black currant), then as it sets becomes more floral.
Since it's really sweet and girly it may not be for everyone, but I love it!
And the bottle is adorable - classic Anna Sui roses and black figures. It's just so romantic looking.

I tested this out courtesy of the brand and I really liked the way it left my skin feeling. It applies smoothly and is thick enough for people with dry skin, but not so thick that it doesn't blend in well. It left my skin really smooth all day.
One thing that I didn't really like was the smell. When you first put it on it is quite fresh, but after it has some time to sit, it gets kind of stale. So I've just been using it on my legs so I don't have to smell it.
I would buy this again in the fragrance-free version.

I got to check out the LG Galaxy Steam Washer and Steam Dryer courtesy of the brand and I honestly couldn't believe how excited I got over a washing machine. It has a lot of really cool features, it's practical, energy efficient and great quality. The price is pretty high but you will end up saving on water costs so it's worth it if you can afford it. Plus the look is so sleek that's it's like furniture.
Some cool features:
-It's big enough to fit a large size duvet or 12 pairs of jeans
-It has a sensor that calculates how long the wash/dry needs to be based on weight
-if you overdo the detergent will do extra rinses so detergent won't be left on your clothes, which is really damaging, particularly for delicates.
-The dryer has a shelf for your purses or shoes so you can clean them without having to listen to them being thrown around like in most dryers.
-It features a technology called Memsic Chip. This is is a technology used in cars and in earthquake zones, and here it is meant to automatically balance out your load so it can spin your clothes at 1400 RPMs and virtually silent.

It did add some volume, but this is best used as a lengthening mascara. And it truly is one of the best lengthening mascaras I've tried - I can literally see my lashes if I look up when wearing this. Seriously. A must-try for anyone looking for length! -

This is a 2-in-1 product: one side is a mascara topcoat and the other side is a shimmering lip gloss. The lip gloss is a peach colour that tastes really great. It's pretty thick but it isn't sticky. You apply the gloss with a sponge brush that doesn't spread too well, so I had to keep dipping it into the pot for more gloss. Personally, I wasn't crazy about the peach colour on myself but I would wear it again for the glossiness if I applied it over a darker colour.
I applied the mascara topcoat over black mascara and if I looked closely I could see blue sparkles on my lashes. I put on several coats and it didn't stand out as much as I expected, but later in the day I did get a compliment on my sparkly lashes. Since the topcoat is blue, it may make blue eyes stand out in pictures, but I don't think the difference between just wearing black mascara and applying this topcoat was very noticeable.

I like this perfume. I was expecting it to be a lot stronger and edgier but it's actually a sweeter scent. It's made mostly from a variety of flowers and fruits like strawberry, red grapefruit, and linden blossom. It's not a particularly original scent but it's nice and I wear it fairly regulary!
I wouldn't wear clothing with the Ed Hardy tattoo designs all over it, but on a perfume bottle it's cool!
