DiorShow is a really amazing mascara if you want dramatic lashes. It adds extreme length and volume and I can't tell you how many people have complemented my lashes since I've started wearing it. I bought mine at Shoppers Drug Mart after asking the lady at the makeup counter for a recommendation and she told me that she never leaves home without her DiorShow, and now I totally see why! -

I tried CARGO Swimmables in purple and it's actually pretty cool. Normally it's not my style to wear funky colours around my eyes, but these are definitely fun to use once in a while. The purple looked really bright and intimidating but once it was on it was not as bright as I expected it to be, so that was a plus!
I like how it glides on really creamy and smooth; so it was really easy to apply. If they made it in black I would most certainly be using it on the regular, but these funky colours are more for special occasions/days - for me anyways! I'm tempted to try it swimming one day to test it out how waterproof it is. When I was taking it off at night it took a few minutes and some makeup remover to get off, so it seems to deliver on that front too!

This blush is great if you are looking for something sheer and natural. The colour is not very strong after the first coat, so you then have the option to build colour or keep it sheer. I think it works well for my light skin tone because not only does it add colour, but it also adds a touch of bronze to warm up my complexion without being too harsh (as can happen with some bronzers on me).
I have been using this basically in place of a bronzer, and then I add some colour to the apples of my cheeks and I definitely like it best for that purpose.

I really love this product! The smell is EXACTLY what I want to smell every morning in the shower! Usually after I finish a bottle of body wash I am ready to try another scent or brand (for variety!) but after I finished my first bottle of this, I immediately went back to the store to get another! The apricot scent is so fresh and clean! It lathers really well, does not leave any soap reside, and leaves my skin feeling soft. There's no negative! -

I recently sampled The Body Shop Baked Bronzer and I am pleased with the results. It creates a warm glow and I feel like my face looks brighter when I wear it. However, I have really fair skin so I have to be careful about putting too much on or else it will look like my face is dirty. Be aware that this bronzer contains sparkles, so you don't want to use it all over your face. It works really well as a highlighter if you put it around your temples and cheekbones. I also like a bit on the bridge of my nose as it makes me loo sun-kissed!
What's cool: it is handmade and baked for 8 hours. It contains ingredients that will nourish and condition the skin as well.

I am really pleased with this product. I've been using it for about 6 months now and it has done exactly what I expected. It is thick enough to really hydrate my face but it also blends in really well so my face does not feel slimy. I don't want to feel like cream is sitting on top of my face rather than blending in. I've always been a fan of Nivea products: they are affordable, simple, and they work! -

I tried Garnier Pure Shine Control Moisturizer for the first time a few years ago and it actually works really well! I have an oily forehead and it actually makes a noticeable difference in how shiny it gets! There seems to be significantly less oily produced throughout the day when I use this, so I'm less shiny! If you have really oily skin don't expect perfection, but there is definitely an improvement. I usually don't like to put creams over my forehead because I will break out, but this doesn't clog my pores!
I have combination skin in the worst way, some parts are extremely oily and others the complete opposite! I often don't put moisturizer over my forehead because it can get too oily, but I need a really thick cream to be effective on my dry parts. This moisturizer is great because it covers both my needs!

Bond 9 makes fantastic perfumes, and I must say that the packaging is stunning! I first ran into the brand a few years ago at Holt Renfrew. I was there with my mother and sister and the the women at the counter looked us each up and down and chose the Bond 9 scent she thought would be best suited to each of us. I don't know how she did it but the scents she chose were bang on - we all fell in love with what she chose! And for me, she chose Scent of Peace. Since then, it has been my absolute favourite scent!
It is a fresh and youthful scent that blends florals and citruses and balances them with woody and musky flavours.
I highly recommend checking this perfume out. The downside is the price tag - it is about $200 CAD, which is really steep for a perfume but that also makes it special. The high price keeps it exclusive and unique. It really is worth the splurge for the way it makes you feel to wear such a luxurious scent!

I really like MAC Lipglass. A few years ago I got a gift set that had 5 different shades to try and I actually liked them all! You get really high shine so it's great for a night out. I sometimes mix different colours together too. It definitely is really sticky so you will need to put a chapstick or primer on underneath so it goes on smoother -- but that's common with gloss.
Another thing I like about Lipglass is that the packaging is small and skinny. Lipgloss needs to easily fit into your pocket or wallet without taking up too much space, and this one easily slides where you need it to go.

I agree that Silk Therapy is excellent! My sister, mother, and I have all been using it for years! It helps get rid of flyaways and adds shine to my hair. Occasionally I will use it when my hair is still wet because my hair is naturally really dry so I like an oil-based product to add some, well, oil!
An old hairdresser of mine told me that it can be used on your skin too! It's too oily to actually use everywhere but after putting it in my hair I always rub the remains into my hands/arms.
I've actually found a jumbo bottle it at Costco before - it was double the size for only around $30. It lasted AGES!
