I really like this brush but I don't actually use it for blush. I use this to blend out my contour. The bristles are really soft and not densely packed. I would find the angle awkward to use for blush so I found a use for it that I enjoy!

I went on an exfoliator mission. I got so many samples from Sephora trying all different kinds. This one was definitely my favourite. The minute you start to put it on, you will see and feel little chunks piling up. I was doubtful that it was skin at first (I thought it was something with the product making it do that so you would think it was working), however my skin looked and felt great afterwards so it definitely worked. It doesn't dry out of my skin either which a lot of other exfoliators do. I love it. The only thing I don't like is that the brand is not cruelty-free. -

I have a problem using the highlight side on my forehead because it sticks to my dry patches though. I also wish the contour lasted longer but I can easily touch it up as this thing easily slips into my clutch! -

I got this bronzer for 5.99 after reading some mixed reviews. I have used some bronzers in the past but stopped because they were all too shimmery for me so I just stopped using them. I decided to try bronzer again and was originally going to get the Physician's Formula Butter Bronzer (really hyped up on Youtube) but I decided to go with something cheaper to see if I even liked bronzer before going to a pricier product. I just used this for the first time today and I LOVE it. It is amazing. I'm pretty pale so always worry about bronzers looking orangey or fake on me. This looked so natural and soft and not orangey at all. The pan on this is also massive so you get major product for your buck. I did read some reviews where people had problems with it breaking so I'm going to be very careful with it but it's amazing! -

This is the only eyeshadow primer I've tried and It does work really well. You only need a small amount for it to work. It helps my shadow last all day and night. However, it does make it a little difficult to take the makeup off. One thing I'm not a huge fan of is that it leaves this really dry/gritty/sandy feeling to my eye and makes my eyes look a little crepe-like. I'm going to try some other primers so I can compare though. -

This is my favourite mascara! I tried it in a little deluxe sample size and fell in love. It makes my lashes really long, volumized, and thick. It gives this spider-leg look to your lashes but in a good way. I usually only need one coat. My one complaint about it is that the shape of the wand leaves a big chunk at the end of the wand so I just have to scrape it off before I start applying it. I also have trouble using it on my bottom lash line because the wand is so thick/wide, you have to be really careful. -

This is the first foundation I have ever bought so I don't really have much to compare it to. It goes on nicely, it is on the thicker side for foundations though. It does cling to dry patches a little bit. I always set it with the E.L.F. HD setting powder and it stays in place (I can touch my face and it doesn't really come off). I don't do a thick layer at all so not sure how buildable it is. I want to start branching out with my foundations and get a better idea of what I like though! -

This is my all time favourite chocolate milk alternative. It can be a little chalky, especially at the end of the carton but it is soo good (just make sure you shake it well before each use). I used to buy soy milk all the time and actually recently bought chocolate soy milk again and I could barely even taste the chocolate over the soy flavour. -
These are so good and bring me right back to my childhood. They're chocolatey, kind of cakey, with caramel inside. They're delicious. I try not to buy stuff like this but will buy them as an occasional treat!

I have perpetually low iron levels. I have tried everything - over the counter iron pills, boosting iron through food sources, using cast iron to cook. I have had so much trouble with most of these. The regular iron pills hurt my stomach so bad (and turn your stool black). Using a cast iron pan even hurt my stomach. However, these pills are amazing. I went back to the Natural Food Pantry to get a botanical iron I used to get but they didn't have it anymore and suggested this one instead. Despite the high price tag (22.99 for 90 pills), I still bought them because I was going through a serious low-iron phase and was having terrible side effects. These are amazing and so gentle on the stomach, I have no pain with these. They also don't turn your stool black. These are also apparently local so that makes me feel even better about paying that price.
*always note with iron supplements: take your iron with vitamin C and don't take it with calcium (milk, cheese, yogurt, etc). Vitamin C enhances the absorption of iron but calcium inhibits absorption!
