My 5 year old daughter received a 4 oz container of kinetic Sand Surprise from Spin Master to try out and review. From the moment we received it in the mailbox, she has been super excited to open it up to see what her surprise will be. She got the tiki-volcano toy with red coloured kinetic sand! She really enjoyed playing with the kinetic sand, the feel of the sand in her hands and how it sticks together. She especially liked using the tiki-volcano toy to push the kinetic sand through it to create (in her own words) "french fry hair"! Lol I like that it comes in a container to store the sand and toy and how quick and easy it is to clean it all up after play since the sand is kinetic and all sticks together. -

I love pistachios, almond and Chapman's ice cream products, so I couldn't wait to grab a tub from the supermarket to try out. The green colour of the ice cream looks pretty cool and there's so many bits of almonds mixed in there. The ice cream tastes really rich and creamy, like real ice cream should (and not like some other brands I've tried which has a foamy texture). I'm not so sure I taste the pistachios in there and when I checked the ingredients, I didn't see pistachios listed. Unfortunate that there aren't any pistachios in there and actually quite misleading to have "pistachios" in the name of the ice cream. There are definitely lots of almonds in there which is great, but the almond flavour is a bit strong and overpowering. But overall, love the texture of the ice cream and it does have a unique flavour. Just wish there were real pistachios in there and a bit less of the almond flavour. -

I received a box of Teapigs Skinny Dessert (Rooibos Creme Caramel) from ChickAdvisor to try out as part of the #chickadvisorecobox. I love drinking tea, but I also love dessert (but not the calories), so i was excited to try this Rooibos Creme Caramel tea. The look of the packaging (box) and the teabags in the mesh bag gives it a classy, expensive look. The tea bags steeped in the hot water easily, I just had the tea itself, without adding any milk and it was very delicious and fragrant. I was trying really hard to taste the caramel flavour, but i wasn't able to for some reason. I had the tea after lunch but before dinner and it kept me full and satisfied. I didn't need to grab any snacks/desserts, so the tea saved me from all those extra calories. Love that this tea is caffeine free so that I will be able to sleep at night. Will recommend to family and friends. -

I received a tube of the Green Beaver Company 100% Natural Origin Antiperspirant from ChickAdvisor to try out as part of the #chickadvisorecobox. I was actually pretty excited about this when I saw that it was aluminum free! The reason I stopped wearing antiperspirant in the first place was because of aluminum and that it was unsafe and could increase the risk of breast cancer. Soooo..when i saw that this product was free of aluminum, parabens and artificial fragrances, I was beyond happy! I love the refreshing scent which reminds me of coconuts and the breeze on the beach. I found it was easy to use, glides onto my underarms nicely, absorbs nicely, does not leave a white chalky mess and keeps my underarms dry and smelling beautiful. I need to tell my family and friends about this product. Will definitely purchase this again when I'm out. -

I received a small tube of the My Clarins Re-Boost Refreshing Hydrating Cream from ChickAdvisor to try out as part of the #chickadvisorecobox. The writing on the tube didn't specify whether this cream was to be used on the face, body or hands, so to be honest, I was a little confused as to where I should use this. I ended up using this on my face first, then my hands, and found that it absorbs very easily into my skin (no "white" cream visible on skin) and feels and looks super hydrated without being greasy or creamy at all. The cream itself has a gently, subtle perfumey-type scent. I would definitely recommend this cream to family and friends. Also love the simple pink and white packaging. The size is also perfect to keep in my purse so I can use this when I'm out and about. -

I received a bottle of the Garnier Fructis Hydrating Treat Shampoo + Aloe Extract from ChickAdvisor to try out as part of the #chickadvisorecobox. First off, I love the packaging of this product. It looks like a refreshing, healthy smoothie, ...but for hair! It has a very refreshing, pleasant, sweet scent. It smells so good, is subtle but not overpowering. I love that this product is made up of 98% naturally derived ingredients. I couldn't wait to try this shampoo out today and it didn't disappoint. The scent itself was amazing, the shampoo itself lathers and suds up nicely and it rinses out easily as well. I found that after using this shampoo, my hair smells nice, feels and looks hydrated but not weighed down, and feels and looks super healthy with that healthy shine. I would definitely recommend this shampoo to my family and friends. Would definitely buy this again. -

I received a package of 6x111g containers of Mott's Fruitsations + Fibre Unsweetened Mango Peach flavoured apple fruit snack to try and review from Family Rated Club. They are conveniently packaged and easy to open for an individual snack. It smells great, has a nice texture and consistency very much like applesauce. It is unsweetened, but has the perfect amount of natural sweetness from the fruits itself. I'd rather much give this to my toddler as a snack in between meals rather than unhealthy junk foods like chips or candy. I find this amount is the perfect size for myself, an adult but my 4 year old toddler has found that this one container is too much for her to finish in one setting. But we both agree that it sure is yummy. I'd definitely recommend this product to my friends' for their children also.

I received a can of Batiste Waterless Cleansing Foam from ChickAdvisor to try out and review. I received the coconut milk one and it sure smells so delicious! It reminds me of being on vacation somewhere tropical, in the sun with coconut scented sunscreen. I didn't wash my hair for a few days, then used this product to see if it would fix my flat, greasy hair. The way it foams up, it looks and feels just like mousse. The product dispenses out of the can easily and is easy to massage into my hair. It instantly gave my hair a quick boost of volume and seems to make it look less weighed down. I found this only to be a temporary fix as later on, my hair felt heavy and greasy again and so I had to wash it the old fashioned way - with water, shampoo and conditioner. But for a quick temporary fix, this works! It's super easy to use and takes a few seconds to dispense and massage into the hair. Plus the scent is so amazing! -

I love my drinks extra cold, so the cranberry ginger ale in a cup with a handful of ice cubes is perfection! I would definitely purchase this drink again and would recommend to family and friends. -

I received a package of the Knorr Taste of Japan Shichimi Togarashi Seasoning blend to try for free. For dinner, my husband and I used this seasoning on a ground beef rice dish which also included green beans, eggs, mushrooms and carrots. I really love how it made the whole dish super flavourful while adding an extra kick of spice. It was so delicious, I couldn't stop eating it. To be honest the seasoning blend was actually spicier than I expected. When i looked at the package, I didn't think it was going to be spicy at all. I would definitely recommend this product to my family and friends. It is so easy to use and so easy to spice up and flavour up a dish. I also love that this product is 100% natural. -
