I use Aveeno body lotion regularly so I was excited to try the skin therapy balm. The tube reminded me of sunscreen, but I like that I don’t have to dip my fingers in a jar. I wasn’t sure if I use it on my face or body, but it didn’t seem thick enough to use on my body though. I cleansed my face, then squeezed some on my fingers to moisturize. It absorbed quickly and didn’t feel greasy. However, my skin felt dry after a short while and I felt the need to reapply. For reference, I have combination skin so my cheeks felt dry but nose, chin and forehead felt fine. My skin didn’t have a reaction or any stinging sensation. -

I had to wait until I had a juicy enough pimple to try this out. I’ve used pimple patches in the past so I knew what to expect. It does the job of absorbing the moisture where the patch is placed. I can see the pimple gunk on the patch once I took it off. It has two sizes for different sized pimples. I do wish it was thinner though as I can’t wear it out (it’s quite obvious there’s a sticker on my face). It also left a ring on my face when the sticker was removed and took sometime to go away. I will mainly be wearing this overnight to bed. I used this a few times on the same pimple for it to go away. The area is still red after the pimple is no longer there and takes some time to disappear. It could be due to my semi-sensitive skin having something stuck on top of it for the past few days. It does prevent me from picking at it or touching it so that helps speed up the healing process and prevent infection. -

I have sensitive areas on my face (around my eyes and nose) so I was looking forward to using this. As far as I can tell, it’s not a cleanser and won’t take off makeup or any residue. I’ve only ever used physical exfoliators that have small grains in them. This does not have any; rather it is a creamy texture and goes on smoothly. I like that it is not scented and does not irritate my skin. I’m not familiar with PHA exfoliators so I will have to continue using this to see the benefits. It does not foam up or lather. Currently I use a light oil cleanser, then a foam cleanser and now adding this exfoliator to my routine. I am not sure how often to use it thought. I used to use physical exfoliators once to twice a week. I will try different variations to see how my skin responds to it. -
