I was trying to exclusively breastfeed my daughter when I had her, however my milk wouldn't come in all of the way and then I got shingles. To make matters worse I fell into PPD and ended up on depression medicine. So it's not surprise that...   +

I was trying to exclusively breastfeed my daughter when I had her, however my milk wouldn't come in all of the way and then I got shingles. To make matters worse I fell into PPD and ended up on depression medicine. So it's not surprise that with being on medicine for shingles and depression I couldn't continue to breastfeed. My sister in law was a milk donor and she supplied my daughter for awhile, but it got to be too much as she lives in a different town as us. I switched my daughter to formula "good start" and have been using it ever since. I'm so happy that there is a formula out there that can provide my baby with the nutrients she needs since I wasn't able to. I will never choose another brand.
