I was really happy with this lip product when I first bought it (so happy that I even got it in several different shades) however, after about of a week of using it I found that it was drying out my lips so badly that my lips and the skin around my lips were cracked and peeling. I have never had an issue with a lip product before but I ended up throwing them all out. I would not recommend using this product at all - I was very disappointed that it did the exact opposite of what it was supposed to. -

I got to try the Revlon Crazy Shine To Go Nail Buffer through the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club and I have to say that I was pretty impressed. I found the product to be an effective way to tidy up the appearance of my nails in a matter of minutes. I used the buffer enroute to an event and 3 days later they are still noticeably shiny. The buffer was fairly easy to use however, I did find the shapes of the buffers made them a bit awkward to hold from some angles, particularly when I was trying to buff closer to my cuticles. Overall I would recommend the product to my friends and continuing using it in the future. -

I got to try the Dove Original Beauty Cream Bar through the Chick Advisor product review club. I normally am not a big bar soap user - I prefer body washes and exfoliating scrubs - but I found the Dove Beauty Bar to be effective cleanser that left my skin feeling soft and fresh. Many bars of soap can leave my skin feeling dry and almost itchy afterwards but the Dove Beauty Bar did not. I found that it did not lather as much as I would like (hence the preference of body washes) but I did find that overall I like using it. I would recommend it to my friends and I know my boyfriend has been using it as well. -

I had the chance to try the L'Oreal Professionnel Intense Repair Shampoo and I found it to be a really good shampoo that left my hair feeling soft and really clean. I noticed the difference as soon as I washed my hair and my hair continues feeling soft and smooth. I have used several repair hair shampoos before I really liked how my hair felt the next day with this one. I do think that it is overpriced for the size of the bottle but if it was a bit more reasonably priced I would consider buying it again and recommending it to other people. -

I tried the L'oreal Professionnel Intense Repair Masque and I have to say I wasn't too impressed with it. Right off the bat I am not a fan of hair treatment products that you have to use outside of the shower. I would rather use the treatment as part of my shower routine not have to get out, dry my hair, apply it and then get back into the shower. Secondly, I felt that the treatment could have used more instructions regarding the masque. Do you need to rewash your hair after? How much of the masque should you put on? How often should you use the masque? After using the masque I don't know if I would use it again, my hair feels slightly greasy and I don't that like it was very effective. Also definitely not worth the price. -

I have used several Crest whitening products in the past, including the daily Crest Whitestrips, so I have to admit that I had pretty high expectations for Crest 3D White Whitestrips 2 prior to testing it out.
At first glance there was nothing different about these Whitestrips. The additional instructions included for the product review were helpful as the ones in the kit were rather limited. I found that the bottom strips were fairly easy to put on and attached well. I had more difficulty using the top strips as I felt they did not lay properly and didn't feel as secure as the bottom strips.
Once I had both strips on I set my alarm for 2 hours and went about my day. I noticed immediately that the bottom strip felt much better then the top. The bottom strip felt thicker and more secure while the top kept sliding off at the edges. I found it odd that the bottom strip seemed to be much better quality and felt more effective than the top strip as I would have thought they would be the same.
It took me a couple of tries to remove the strips after the 2 hours were up. I felt that the results weren't quite as dramatic as I would have liked. My teeth were whiter but I did not feel that the product was as effective as I would have like. I wonder if using this product would have been the same as keeping the daily white strips on for a longer period of time?
I would recommend this product for someone who doesn't whiten their teeth on a regular basis or who hasn't before as it is nice to be able to do it in just one go. I wouldn't recommend it for someone expecting a step up from their normal teeth whitening procedure.

I recently received the Febreze Noticeables Lavender Comfort and Gentle Vanilla air freshener through the Product Review Club and I have really enjoyed these new Febreze products in my house. Normally I am not a huge fan of air fresheners as I often find them to be too overpowering. However, I really like this product of the strength of scent setting options that allowed me to control how much scent was released.
I found the product very easy to use. It was simple to assemble and then all you have to do is just plug it in and that's it. I like that it switched between the two scents as every so often you get a burst of fragrance that is really noticeable. So far this product seems to last longer and be more effective than other air fresheners that I have tried. It has not become any less effective since I plugged it in when I received it.
I had the Morning Walk and Cleansing Rain air freshener plugged in in my living room and the Lavender Comfort & Gentle Vanilla air freshener in my bedroom and both seemed to compliment the rooms really well. Personally I preferred the smell of the Morning Walk and Cleansing Rain but I found both products to be quite nice. I think that I would recommend this product and buy it again for myself in the future but I would be more likely to buy the Morning Walk and Cleansing Rain scent.

I recently received the Febreze Noticeables Morning Walk & Cleansing Rain air freshener through the Product Review Club and I have really enjoyed having it in my house. Normally I am not a huge fan of air fresheners as I often find them to be too overpowering. However, I really like this product because it had the option of selecting strength settings so I could keep it on low or increase it if I wanted to.
I found the product very easy to use. It was simple to assemble and then all you have to do is just plug it in and that's it. I like that it switched between the two scents as every so often you get a burst of fragrance that is really noticeable. So far this product seems to last longer and be more effective than other air fresheners that I have tried. It has not become any less effective since I plugged it in.
I had the Morning Walk and Cleansing Rain air freshener plugged in in my living room and the Lavender Comfort & Gentle Vanilla air freshener in my bedroom and both seemed to compliment the rooms really well. I think that I would recommend this product and buy it again for myself in the future.

As a long time of fan of Dior Show mascara I havent used drug store mascara in a long time. I decided to try the Maybelline Falsies at random one day and was amazed by how great it looked. It honeslty gives you the fake eyelash look and makes eyelashes noticeably fuller/longer. Numerous people have commented on it when I wear it and I have recommended it to all my friends. -

I attended the tasting for the new Breyers Smooth and Dreamy Ice Cream. The great thing about this new line of ice cream is that it is half the fat of regular ice cream but still taste like real ice cream. The ice creams ranged from 120 to 140 calories per 1/2 cup which is pretty amazing for ice cream. If I didn't already know that the ice creams were half the fat going into the tasting I would've never guessed it based on tasting them.
I tried both the Creamy Chocolate and the Mocha Fudge Brownie. While both were very creamy and rich, I definitely preferred the Mocha Fudge Brownie. The Creamy Chocolate was a bit too sugary tasting for me while the Mocha Fudge Brownie was fanstastic - I will definitely be buying this in the future and recommending it to my friends - so good!
