The Argan Oil & Lavender Smooth and Serene Shampoo from Love Beauty & Planet delivers on its promise to smooth out and calm unruly hair. My hair has a mind of its own and I fond that the shampoo worked well to tame it. The shampoo cleaned well and left my hair feeling light and more manageable.
I really like the environmentally conscious message behind these products and its great that they are designed to need less water to wash out. I would purchase this product again and recommend it to friends. I got this product for free for product review.

The new Argan Oil & Lavender line from Love Beauty & Planet features a shampoo, conditioner and body wash. While I really liked the body wash and felt that the shampoo worked well, the conditioner was my least favourite of the three as I found I needed to use more of the product than I wanted to to properly condition my hair. I have unruly hair and a lot of it so for normal use this lighter condition would probably not be for me.
I did like the smell and the product line in general and I would recommend it to people with finer hair as I think it would work well depending on the hair type. I received this product for free to review as part of ChickAdvisor's Product Review Club.

I tried out the new Love Beauty & Planet Argan Oil & Lavender Relaxing Rain Body Wash and really liked the light refreshing scent. The body wash was moisturizing and felt great on my skin - washed off with no residue leaving a pleasant lavender smell behind.
I like the whole idea behind the Love Beauty & Planet line - more eco friendly / good for the environment. I would be interested in trying other products from this line.

The new "selects" line for Knorr offers quick and easy healthier side dishes. I tried the Roasted Garlic Alfredo Rice and was please by both the taste and how quick and easy it was to prepare. The rice went well with a chicken and vegetable dinner and everyone enjoyed it.
I liked this rice dish and I would probably buy it again. I would also like to try some of other new flavours - I am familiar with Knorr soup products but not any of their side dishes until now. As part of the Knorr Product Review Program I tested out the new One Skillet Meals in Spicy Chipotle Chicken Brown Rice and Quinoa. This took a few more steps than I had anticipated so definitely read through the instructions and make sure you use a big enough skilet - I used my wok which worked perfectly. I also substituted green and yellow beans as I didn't have any peppers on hand and that worked well too.
The one skillet meal idea seems to be popular now and I understand why - its great to throw everything into a pan and have a relatively well balanced meal come out of it a short time later. I thought that this dish tasted really good - despite being labelled as spicy it was not too bad. More of a chipotle kick. The rice and quinoa cooked up well together and everything tasted great. Made enough for dinner for 4.
I enjoyed eating this for dinner and so did my husband - maybe a bit more kick then I would recommend for smaller children. I would recommend this product and purchase it again. I received this Knorr Product to make, taste test and review for free from ChickAdvisor.

The timing for receiving La Roche-Posay Toleriane Sensitive Hydrating Care could not have been better to give me a hand with my post winter dry and uneven skin. I found the moisturizer to be very gentle yet effective - I could put it on at night and still feel it working in the morning. It gave my skin an even overall glow and worked well under make up.
I tend to have more red tone skin, especially in the winter, and I felt that this La Roche-Posay helped make that less noticeable. I would consider purchasing this product again as it worked very well for me and I would recommend it to friends - particularly those with dry sensitive skin. I absolutely loved the Mineral Brush 11 from Nude by Nature. This was my favourite product from the new line and I would definitely look into buying some other make up brushes from Nude by Nature. The brush is beautiful and the bristles are soft while still able to hold onto make up well. The brush is very effective at applying both loose and compressed powdered make up. It handles well and can work for a heavier foundation layer or a light brushing of bronzer. I highly recommend adding this brush to your collection. I got to try out some products from the Nude by Nature make up line and while I really like the line I was the least in love with the Radiant Loose Powder Foundation. This is mainly because I have a hard time with loose powder makeups and I find that the coverage is not as effective as I want. I also find that the powder gets everywhere. My preferences aside I did like the lightweight feel and it really is make up that you could sleep in if you wanted to. Stayed on relatively well throughout a hectic day and easy to remove at night. I would probably not buy this particular product again but would be interested in trying out their pressed powder and other make up options. Nude by Nature has a whole new (new to Canada?) line of Natural beauty products that both looks good and feel good on your skin. The perfecting primer is excellent – it is very lightweight and also works as a moisturizer so it’s a quick easy option for early morning make up routines. It lasted well and helped the loose powder foundation hold up throughout the day. I found it very gentle on my skin and would use it more frequently than I would most make up primers. I really like how it smells and feels and it makes me want to try out more products from the Nude by Nature line. The all new Derma+Care Scalp Clean & Fresh 2-in-1 from Dove is an affordable and effective solution to dry scalp. It was perfect trying out this new product in the winter months when my hair and scalp definitely need a bit more help. I find that my naturally blonde hair gets oily quite easily and using the 2-in-1 made a noticeable difference in-between washes.
The 2-in-1 smells good and works well leaving hair feeling cleaner whilei less residue heavy than most normal shampoos. I was pleasantly surprised at how effective the shampoo / conditioner was and how good it felt on my scalp both while being washed and afterwards.
