After donating almost two feet of hair about a year and a half ago, I am now able to bleach and color my hair, having the opportunity to use chemicals on my hair until it gets a little longer to begin protecting it again for another donation. So I've gone a little color crazy, playing and experimenting, and am very grateful to have a shampoo that will protect and repair my hair while I have more than just a little fun. When I stop the crazy coloring, I can shampoo with Fructis Garnier and rest assured that my hair is being pampered for the next recipient. -

I have wood-stove-dry skin! Every winter brings moisture and dampness outside, but in my house, I have a wood stove, and I suffer from very dry skin. It gets dried out like dried flowers, so I use Aveeno daily moisturizer to help retain my natural moisture, and to replenish the inevitable loss of supple softness due to the type of air that the wood stove creates inside my home. I would be brittle and itchy without it. -

I remember sitting for hours and eating the seeds from a pomegranate and thinking what a fun fruit it was. My Gramma told me it was very, very good for me, but at around ten years old, that was the furthest thing from my mind. To be totally honest, it isn't exactly at the top of my list of priorities, but it's good to know that Dove knows, ya know? -

I grew up with Dove, and, as I said in another review, (at the risk of sounding repetitive) it is still pure and simple, which is how I like to live my life. My Grandparents raised me, and I fondly remember watching my Gramma wash her face with just a warm cloth, or, if we had been out in the garden, she would make a nice soft lather in our hands with Dove and we would wash our faces together. Pure and simple. -

After donating almost two feet of hair to Cancer, I was able to use peroxides, etc. on my hair, so at the age of fifty, I finally got to bleach and playfully color my hair with temporary but bold colors. At first, I didn't really know what I was doing or what color I wanted, and just kept adding and blending colors for about a week. Although I was using conditioning colors, my hair started to get a little battered, so I bought some Dove Oil Therapy shampoo, because I grew up knowing that Dove is pure and simple, which is how I live my life.
Forgive me, hair, and, you're welcome.
