Like a lot of people, I myself have little time for breakfast and I often have to prepare it the night before or take my breakfast on the go. The greatest thing about this product is its convenience. It's easy to prepare and the powder dissolves fully in the milk so you're not left with clumps of powder in your drink. It tastes great - basically tastes like chocolate milk. Breakfast should be protein-packed to prevent you from getting hungry earlier so this product does provide a source of protein - 15g but only when added to milk. If added to water, you would get much less protein.
Based on the packaging, it looks to be advertised as a breakfast substitute and while it does provide protein and several minerals and vitamins, this by itself is not enough to constitute a well-balanced breakfast. It doesn't provide enough protein unless you double the portion but this means you're also doubling the sugar. The sugar content in one sachet is already high so whatever benefits you get from the protein and minerals is offset by the sugar.
While I wouldn't recommend it as a breakfast substitute, it's great as a between-meal snack. I sometimes get hungry mid-afternoon so instead of reaching for high-carb treats like chips or crackers, this makes a great alternative since it contains protein and quickly fills you up. While I wouldn't resort to drinking this on a daily basis, I would take it once in a while as a snack specially if I'm having cravings for sweet stuff.

During the winter months, this is my go-to sheet mask. I typically use a sheet mask once or twice a week depending on the condition of my skin. After going skiing, I was left with extremely dry nose and cheeks to the point where my skin was peeling and irritated. I started applying heavier moisturizers but that did nothing to improve it.
After using this mask 3 times, my skin returned to normal. Hyalauronic acid is one of the most effective products to apply on dry skin as it helps hydrate and moisturize. The sheet mask itself was larger than normal so it works for different face shapes. It is heavily soaked in serum so I used the excess on my knees and elbows. I leave the mask on until it is completely dry, wash the face with water to remove excess product, then pat the skin dry.
These masks are slightly more pricey than other masks but they're worth every penny specially if you have dry skin. Unfortunately they are not available at most stores as it is an Asian beauty products so you might have to get them online or specialized stores. I wouldn't suggest this for those with oily skin though as it might be too heavy.

I have only recently been introduced to this company by a friend of mine. I recently ordered a few things from them and have been enjoying trying all the products. This one in particular intrigued me the most because I have never used something like this before. I have used an anti-residue shampoo before but never a rinse.
Before talking about the product itself, I just wanted to comment on one thing that irked me a little bit. The bottle doesn't come with instructions on how to use the product and the website description was very vague so I had to look up how to properly use it. Aside from that, I love this product.
I used it once or twice a week for a month and have seen the noticeable difference when I used this product and when I didn't. After using this, my hair felt cleaner, had more volume, was more shiny and more manageable. There was less frizz and it made my hair look moisturized without it looking weighed down. In addition it made my hair smell great - like Swedish berries.
I just wish there was a larger bottle because the product gets used up really quickly specially if you have longer or thicker hair.

This was the first cleansing oil I ever tried. Since then I have tried several cleansing oils, both drugstore and high end, and for some reason I keep coming back to this one. I find it to be one of the most effective products at removing makeup - even the stubborn waterproof makeup.
There are several reasons why I prefer this over other cleansing oils despite the price. Firstly, I like that it has an olive oil base and has a short ingredients list - this makes me more confident that there are less chemicals added to this product. Olive oil by itself is wonderful at removing makeup but I find it way too thick to be applying on my face in addition to it being difficult to wash off. With the DHC cleansing oil, it's a more diluted solution. After applying it on the face, I slowly add water and continue rubbing it in until the oil starts to emulsify. Then I just wash it off with water afterwards. I still go in with a gentle cleanser after just to make sure all cleansing oil residues are removed (also known as a 2-step cleansing method).
I don't really mind the scent. It smells like olive oil which is a scent more tolerable than the artificial smells that accompanied other cleansing oils I've tried. This products makes makeup removal easy and quick. There's no need to use cotton pads or spend more time removing heavy makeup around the eyes. I just apply it all over my face and it removes all the makeup at once.
The main reason why I keep coming back to this cleansing oil is due to it being the most gentle on my eyes. My eyes are extremely sensitive and this is one of the few products that doesn't leave me looking like I have pink eye after using it.
I have already repurchased this product a few times and will continue to do so.

I received this product as a Christmas gift along with the deep pore and sensitive brush heads. Initially, I found myself using it on a daily basis. If you enjoy the feeling of a squeaky clean face then this product is ideal for you. It is very effective at cleaning dirt, oil, and makeup off your face. I don't have severe issues with acne so I can't say how effective it is at clearing pimples. However, I do suffer from the occasional breakouts (mainly due to hormonal causes) and I find that using the Clarisonic during these times healed the pimples more quickly probably due to facial oils being cleansed more effectively.
Since receiving it, I found I don't use the product as much, not because I don't like it or don't find it effective but because I don't find it necessary to use it that often. Using it everyday actually dried out my skin so I have resorted to only using it once or twice a week or when my skin starts to look dull and my pores become more prominent.
The benefit of the Clarisonic is that you can use pretty much any cleanser with it. It cleans gently. You only have to press it lightly on the surface of the skin and it does the job for you. There is no need to excessively scrub your face. The battery lasted about 2 weeks when I used it on a daily basis. It lasted longer when I resorted to using only twice a week. I really liked the deep pore brush head - I found it to be very gentle on the face compared to the sensitive brush head.
I would probably buy this product on my own but would definitely get it when they have a sale because it is a bit pricey, even the brush heads. But so far I have really enjoyed using it and will definitely continue to be a part of the skin care routine.

Definitely pick these up, I swear you will love them. -

This really delivers on the promise of not clumping. I am very loyal to my CG Lash Blast and I wasn't looking at picking up this mascara but I received a sample from Elle. Since trying it, it's become one of my favourites.
The formula is slightly thinner than the Lash Blast but that's what makes this a good lengthening mascara. In addition to the formulation, it's the brush that makes this a winning mascara. It has a thin curved tapered rubber wand that allows you to coat every single lashes evenly. Because it's tapered, this is great for those with smaller eyes because you can get really close to your lash line and around the corners of the eyes.
This is more of a lengthening mascara than a volumizing one. However, because it doesn't clump, you can apply multiple coats and really build it up to get volume. So far, I have not had any problems with smudging or flaking with the waterproof version (~6 hour wear). It comes off easily as well with a make-up remover.
Definitely recommend this mascara.

Out of all the lip balms in the Nivea line, this is my favourite. Firstly, it's inexpensive, readily available, and contains slightly more product that your typical tube lip balm. It glides on smoothly on the lips and even the thinnest layer will provide some moisture to your lips. The formula is very moisturizing and it's the ideal lip balm for those with chapped lips. This has helped keep my lips hydrated this winter. The product last a while on the lips so you don't have to reapply that often. The thinnest layer will provide the perfect base for matte or lipsticks that tend to be drying.
Highly recommend this product.

Depending on the brush it's either a hit or miss. Majority of their brushes are great quality for the price specially when you buy them on sale. I own several of the brushes and the ones I really like are the following: Kabuki Brush, Presicion Foundation Kabuki Brush, bronzing powder brush, blush brush and the brushes from their professional line. The brushes are well-made and have soft and dense fibres.
I am, however, not impressed with the travel brush set, the crease brush, liner/brow brush, and the retractable powder/blush brush. They just didn't perform to my liking. Also, I would avoid the brush sets that come out during the holidays. Although cheaper, I find those are not at par in terms of quality with the individual brushes sold.
The first time I washed the brushes, a bit of dye did come off and some shedding did occur but that stops after a few more washes.
When buying these brushes, definitely inspect them when you're at the store to make sure it's made to your liking. I would recommended the brushes I mentioned liking above. They would be great brushes to add to your collection.

One of the best drugstore gel eyeliners I have tried. It's very pigmented and because of its creamy texture, it glides on smoothly without needing to tug too much on your eyelids. Although I use a different brush, the one that comes with the gel liner is fairly decent and usable. You can create thin or thick lines with it. The product has lasted me 5 months and has not yet dried up.
It dries matte which I like because it gives greater definition to your eyes compared to glossy-finish liners. Considering I have hooded and oily lids, this liner has good lasting power on me. I have gone for hours (~5 hours) without it smudging or flaking. I also have to mention that when applying this, use a thin layer and apply a primer underneath. Because this is so pigmented, you don't have to apply multiple layers. The thicker the layer, the more flaking and smudging you will get. This gel liner is also very easy to remove. It comes right off with my make-up remover.
I definitely recommend this product. It's inexpensive but works well and is readily available at most drugstores.
