For a while, I have used the Bath and Body Works Gentle Eye Makeup Remover but since I ran out, I decided to give the Almay Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover Liquid a try. This makeup remover claims to nourish skin while gently removing makeup including waterproof mascaras. As well, it contains a blend of aloe, cucumber, and green tea to condition the skin.
The bottle contains 4 Fl Oz/118mL of produt. What I liked immediately about the product is that it is hypoallergenic and fragrance-free. I have sensitive eyes and skin and so far, this makeup remover has not made my eyes irritated and has not caused my skin to break out. In addition to it being oil-free, it is very gentle and would be ideal for contact wearers. It makes the skin around the eyes smooth and hydrated.
As for how effective it is as a makeup remover, it removes makeup and even waterproof mascara, cream, and liquid liners easily without much effort. The container is small and compact making it ideal for travelling.
The one con I have with this product is the fact that you have to twist open and close the cap to get the product out. It would have been better and more sanitary to have a dispenser. However, I usually just dispose the amount I want in a small container and use that to wet my cotton pads.
I would recommended this product. If you want affordable eye makeup remover that works well, then this is a good purchase. I would repurchase this again.

The Maybelline NY Line Stiletto Ultimate Precision Liquid Eyeliner is one of the best drugstore liquid liners I have used. Even with light makeup on, I always make sure to put on eyeliner just to make the eyes pop even more and I was very impressed at how great this liner is.
To be honest, when I first bought this product, I was a little skeptical at how well it will work. After a week of using it, it's found a permanent space in my make-up bag.
The packaging is great. You get 1.5ml of the product and comes with a very thin and tapered felt-tip applicator. The applicator glides on very smoothly and you get a more shiny finish instead of a matte finish. The applicator also comes with a long handle which makes for an easier grip and better control when applying the product. Because the applicator is so thin, you can get very precise thin lines but you could also build towards more dramatic looks by applying more.
It's long-lasting and doesn't smudge nor does it flake off, yet still easy to remove. Touch-ups are very easy with this liner. I often go over the liner after applying my mascara and the thin applicator allows me to do that easily.
It's extremely affordable and works wonderfully. Overall, it's a great buy. I would highly recommend this product and for sure I'll be purchasing it again.

The Almay Intense I-Color Powder Shadow (001 Trio for Browns) comes with three eye-shadows - a purple for all-over lid colour, a deep brown for the crease, and a light champagne colour as a highlighter. The combination of these colours has the intended purpose of intensifying brown coloured eyes.
The eye-shadows have an almost creamy soft consistency and has a satin finish once applied. I found that the applicator provided does not do a good job of packing on the shadow and I have to use my own eyeshadow brush. The brown and champagne colours were very pigmented, highly blendable, and applied on smoothly. The champagne eyeshadow works beautifully as a highlighter colour.
The purple eyeshadow, on the other hand, was very chalky and did not apply on as smoothly as the other two. It is not very pigmented nor is it buildable. No matter how much eyeshadow I used, it was still not very vibrant even when a base was applied.
Instructions are given on how to apply the shadows on the packaging so this eyeshadow trio would be good for someone who is a beginner to make-up and is still learning what colours might go well together. I don't know if it lives up to the claim of intensifying your eye colour however.
I find this product to be average. I would buy it again just for the brown and champagne eyeshadow but I could do without the purple.

After being recommended to try this product numerous times, I finally gave it a try. I have used this for a month and I am extremely impressed. This mascara has become my go-to mascara which I use every day.
The Packaging - The products comes in a distinct orange container which is larger than a majority of other mascaras. The mascara wand is made of a plastic material rather than the traditional fibres.The large handle makes for a more comfortable grip which allows better precision when applying the mascara.
The Product - The wand is what makes this mascara effective. Because it's made of a plastic material, it's not flimsy which makes for an easier application. It separates the lashes and evenly coats them without clumping. This mascara does provide volume and length making your lashes appear fuller. It is build-able and you can apply additional coat as desired. It is fairly long-lasting and it doesn't run or smudge. I have worn this product for a whole day without needing to reapply.
While this mascara does provide fuller and longer lashes, because the wand is thick and doesn't have a very tapered end, it's very hard to get to the innermost and outermost lashes. Because I have short eyelashes to begin with, I find myself having to use a thinner wand to get to the corner of my eyes and also my bottom lashes.
Overall, this mascara is good. The price is very affordable and I would definitely buy it again.
