This is the only pain medication that has truly worked for me. It gets rid of any aches and pains quickly - definitely more quickly than the regular tablets. I always opt for the extra strength version. I only take one capsule of that and I feel better shortly after.
I get really bad menstrual cramps to the point where I can't do anything and this medication eliminates the pain completely and I can go on with my daily activities. I remain painless for nearly half the day before needing another capsule. In addition, I don't get any negative side effects that I sometimes get with other pain medications such as nausea and indigestion.

If you have oily skin and are looking for a good drug-store foundation, definitely reach for this one. I have not been impressed with any of the Covergirl foundations until I found this one. I have loved this foundation since the first time I used it.
PROS
Packaging - I have to give props to Covergirl for their packaging. This foundation comes with a pump which makes it easy to control how much product you are using (and believe me a little goes a long way with this product) and is more sanitary. At the same time, there's a lock for the pump so you don't have to worry about leaking if you want to bring this along in your purse.
Sun Protection - This foundation comes with Broad Spectrum SPF 20 which is a major plus in my book. You can never have enough sun protection. This makes this foundation wearable all year round, specially summer.
Texture and Consistency - This foundation is not as thick as other foundations making it very easy to apply and blend. You can use your fingers, a brush, or a sponge to apply it. It feels very light on the skin and you almost forget you're wearing a foundation because you don't get that heavy, suffocating feeling of other foundations. It sets to an almost powder consistency (maybe that's why it feels so light on the skin). There is also a good colour selection to make it easier to choose a shade most suitable for your skin tone.
Coverage and Lasting Power - This is where this foundation truly shines. After the first application, it already has a medium to full coverage. If you want even fuller coverage, you can just as easily build up the foundation without it going cakey. You can apply additional layers and use this as your concealer for your trouble spots. This product really does live up to its claims. For those with oily skin, you will love this foundation because it has a matte finish. I have worn this foundation on its own without a primer and setting powder and it has stayed on all day. I have worn it in various weather conditions and it has never failed me. I have oily skin and this foundation has helped me stay shine-free throughout the day.
CONS
(1) This is not for those with normal to dry skin because it will settle into your dry areas and accentuate them even more. If you have dry areas anywhere on your face, I would suggest using a good moisturizer before applying this foundation.
(2) Because of the SPF, it does give you a white cast when taking photos with flash. I combat this by setting it with a matte (non-SPF) powder matched to my skin tone.
Other than that, I find no fault in this foundation. It has become a staple in my make-up kit and I will continue to repurchase it. I HIGHLY recommend this product.

Every time we're at the store and in the frozen food isle, we can never seem to pass these up. We always end up getting a tub. We have probably tried every flavour of this ice cream. My personal favourites are the mint chocolate and red velvet cake. It comes in many different flavours (14) - reminiscent of a trip to an ice cream parlour where you are given an array of options.
They are pretty inexpensive and comes in smaller tubs than the original PC ice creams so you can afford to try out the different flavours. They are creamy and so flavourful. I would definitely encourage anyone to pick up a tub of these.

Frosted Cupcake is one of, if not my favourite candle from Bath and Body Works. It really does smell like frosted cupcake. It's true to the scent even while it's burning. It makes the house smell like a bakery. The scent throw is amazing. I usually burn this in the kitchen but the scent spreads throughout the whole house.
I prefer to buy the 3-wick candles because I find they burn more evenly and does not tunnel as much as the smaller one-wick candles. They are pricey at $22 but they always send different promotions (i.e. Buy 1 Get 1 Free) if you sign up on their e-mail list. Always take advantage of those because you can save quite a bit.

I had purchased the one in nude eyes and after using it, I will definitely pick up the other trios. On a day when I have little time to do my makeup, I always resort to using pencil liners rather than gel liners. These are the first things I would reach for. I love that it's the retractable kind so there is no need to sharpen them. It does come with a plastic sharpener just to make the liner more pointed if you want.
It's very soft so it applies smoothly, eliminating the need to excessively tug at your eyes. The liner itself is thin which allows you to create thin lines but you can also build it up to a thicker line for more dramatic looks. These usually retail for $15 but I bought mine on sale for $8 at Wal-Mart. It's a great deal considering you get 3 liners.
What I love about these liners is that they are not completely solid colours. Even the brown and black liners have fine glitter specks on it. I love the lightest shade on the nude eyes trio - it's a shimmery soft champagne colour that looks really pretty and makes the ideal liner to use on the inner corners of your eyes. It terms of staying power, this is one of the best in terms of drug-store make-up. I wore this to a party and considering how oily my face got by the end of the night, this liner did not smudge or fade.
I do wish that they had the names of the colours on the liners themselves because the packaging are very similar between the 3 liners for the nude eyes trio so it's sometimes hard to tell which colour is which. Other than that, I really love these liners and I would highly recommend them.

I loved Vera Wang's Princess so when this came out, I immediately wanted to give it a try. I'm a sucker for cute packaging and it was love at first sight when I saw the bottle for this. It's not very practical to have the large bouquet of flowers on the perfume but it's very pretty.
This perfume has a fruity-floral top notes with the pink guava and angelica blossoms, then it mellows down to a creamy and sweet but not too sweet middle notes, and ends with woody and musky notes for the base. If Princess was more tailored for the younger consumers, I would describe this perfume as its older sister. It has a more grown-up scent which I actually prefer to Princess. While Princess was all about sweetness, I like that this is more fruity and not as rich.
I like fruity-floral perfumes so it's no surprise that I really like Lovestruck. Although the opening notes come off strong, it dies down to a gentler softer finish. It's definitely not an 'in-your-face' type of scent but you will still take notice of it. In terms of lasting power, it's pretty decent. I could still detect a hint of the fragrance after a whole day of wearing it but I would definitely reapply if you want a stronger scent.

Next to the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder, this is the most reached for drugstore pressed powder in my makeup collection. I have purchased this multiple times and I will continue to repurchase this. I have combination skin with the oily parts specific to my T-zone. This powder helps eliminate shine and keeps my skin looking matte for several hours (~4-5 hours). I like the compact it comes in and the mirror that's included. I'm not a big fan of the powder puff applicator but it works for quick touch-ups. It's inexpensive and it readily available in most drugstore.
There isn't that wide a range of shades but it only provides a bit of coverage so you can't really go wrong when picking your shade. I use it to set my foundation and it helps to eliminate any spots that look shiny or oily and helps keep my makeup on longer. I would definitely recommend this.

This was actually an impulse buy. I had visited a Health Food store to purchase an organic hair dye and this happened to be on sale ($4.99, original price $6.99) and I decided to give it a try. Our body is bombarded with chemicals from a lot of the products we use so I wanted to try something that was a natural product and I thought this was a good start. This product does not contain harsh chemicals, parabens, phthalates or petrolatum (mineral oil). It contains Vitamin C & E and Kukui Oil with the aroma of lavender. This product is also cruelty-free which is another plus.
Firstly, you get a lot of product for the price (227g) and I like that it comes in a squeeze tube rather than a pump bottle. It has a thinner consistency than most lotions which allows it to be absorbed into the skin a lot faster. It moisturises without feeling sticky. It leaves your skin feeling really smooth and hydrated without leaving an oily film on your skin. This lotion is best suited for those with normal to dry skin. It probably won`t be moisturising enough for those with very dry skin (i.e. cracking and peeling) but it works as a good day to day lotion. It is recommended that this lotion is applied to slightly damp skin after washing/showering and this is definitely the best way to apply it. It's very gentle on the skin and I had no adverse reaction to it.
This lotion also came in vanilla and cocoa butter but I liked the lavender scent the best. The other ones were too strong for my liking. The scent might throw off some people, specially those that prefer unscented products but I actually like the scent. While it is lavender, this lotion only has a slight hint of a floral scent. It has a very light, calming sweet-floral scent that last quite a long time. I love using this before going to bed due it its aroma-therapeutic properties.
I would most likely buy this again specially for the summer months.

I don't know why I am only discovering Joe Fresh cosmetics now when I should have a long time ago. The great thing about this brand is that their cosmetic products are very inexpensive. I picked up this gel liner in black for only $8 (and I had used a coupon with it as well). For how good a product it is, I had expected it to cost more. It is very pigmented and applies a true black. While it wasn't labelled as waterproof, this liner could definitely pass for a water resistant liner. It does not budge once it's applied. My eyelids have a tendency to get oily resulting in smeared makeup but I did not have that problem with this liner.
It lasts a long time. I have gone a whole day without needing to retouch. The texture is very smooth and it has a glossy finish which I actually prefer to matte since it does not look as harsh specially since it is a very dark liner. It dries quite quickly so you have to have a quick hand when applying this.
One other point I would like to mention. I commend Joe Fresh for having a cruelty-free cosmetic line so for anyone who is completely against animal testing, this would be a great alternative for other non-cruelty cosmetic brands.
Without a doubt, I will continue to repurchase this product and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good drugstore gel liner.

I received a set of these lip-glosses for by birthday and since then my other lip-glosses have taken a back seat because I have used these almost on a daily basis. I am so impressed with this product and it can rival some of my other high-end glosses.
Firstly, I love the packaging. I initially thought it was glass but it's a very sturdy clear plastic which looks clean and sleek. Secondly, it's the brush that sold me. Rather than a doe-foot sponge applicator, it comes with a thin but dense brush which allows for easier and more precise application of the product.
The lipgloss itself is thick and on the more viscous side. It is a little bit sticky but it does not get tacky when you purse your lips together. Some thick lipglosses you can feel the stickiness because your lips get stuck together, but with this, once it's on your lips you hardly notice it's there.
These lipglosses have amazing pigmentation for a drugstore brand. I can wear this over lipsticks and lipstains but I can also wear it on its own which make it ideal for those days when you're in a rush but still want to apply a bit of makeup. The greatest thing about this product is the price. It's very inexpensive ($8) and you can even use those coupons that sometimes come in Loblaws/Superstore flyers.
This is on my repurchase list and I would highly recommend everyone to try it out.
